Really good '74 candy Popsicle purple FS1E. Drum brake, pedals, pre-mix, handlebar choke - the right model in the right colour.
It's not a restored bike, it's a very original unrestored bike which is basically Condition B or 7.5 out of ten.
It has a few marks and signs of age - but it's a a very good example.
It runs spot-on and is MoTd. It's the sort of bike you can actually ride rather than being a 10 out of 10 concours example that you would be too worried about marking.
Obviuously it would make a great concours project bike, but to be honest, it's better left with a little patina and originality.
There's a load of old MoTs with it and just about the only thing it has had is a pair of new wheels.

I am based in Godalming, which is near Guildford, Surrey (J10 / M25).

£1600. 07739 636740.

yeah but when you think about it the speedo's worth £200 alone. ill bet you could make over a grand just selling the parts on ebay. no doubt people will give an arm and a leg for a 1975 V5 with frame and matching engine.

You will always make more money selling it as parts....and for once i think people will agree with what garelli has said...its expensive.

There was a mint concours purple fizzy that was on ebay and the owner wanted £1300 for it and believe me it was concours.

If anyone 'thinks' this sounds expensive, that's up to them - it couldn't give a monkey's!
Always nice to see someone spouting off on something they haven't even seen.
You might want to focus on the people trying to get £5000 for 'restored' bikes rather than those asking fair money for good original examples.
Not that I'm going to lose any sleep. I don't even care if I keep the bike forever - it's lovely.

Actually thinking about it, I take it all back, I can have suddenly seen the light...

Anything must sound expensive when compared to a rattling sack of cack mechano moped from Italy.

Personally, I'd rather have my appendix removed by a roadworker with a kango-hammer than ride or own a Garelli, Gilera, Fantic or whatever other Pastaped you can think of.

But each to there own.

Oh, and I am taking into account the 'saving grace statement' of Garelli owners back in the day...
"It'll piss all over any Fizzy, it'll do 70mph".

Yeah, right, for a nano-second, down Bullshit Hill until it rattles itself to pieces...

dude, you are a legend! pastaped hehehe

i think you will find that most of us on here hold the same opinion as you over italian moped wank.

Personally i think 1600 is pretty good for a totally original bike, i prefer to see them in tip top original than "im too anal and scared to ride it concourse".

Wow ivan your reply was good...

And your right no garelli does 60mph+ or 70mph like you said...my dad went on one he said no more than 55mph on a standard garelli rekord...

And i take back what i said its a resonable price but its the most you would get for it...

I think it is perfectly reasonably, as tommo said people will give an arm an a leg for a completely original fizzy with matching numbers.
