I'm trying to source some parts for my old fizzy DX i've had it for the last 23 years (since I was sixteen) and it's been living in some very damp boxes in my shed for the past 20 years! arrrrrrrg. I don't want to use any nos parts as want to keep as many of the orignal bits that I rode with when I was a teenager and any bits I didn't, id like someone else to have used way back then. So I want some old tatty bits to keep it as original (and dare I say manky) as possible. i'm after an old seat pref well used but not too ripped (one or two smaller tears are fine) and i'm after an original metal speedo (again, I don't care if it's a bit battered) and brake master cylinder and hoses. I know it's going to look a mess but hey it looked a mess from day one so why worry about it now. infact anything anyone has may be of use. I'm happy to pay a reasonable price so let me know if you can help

Cheers
Dave

daveyboy, I've got an original 1977 seat that I took off my restoration. I was going to re-use it but got a new one instead. It's been rubbed down and treated with cure-rust and it's got a proper replacement seat cover which has a couple of tiny tears just where it tucks under the base, and about 1/4" of the edge piping has come unstuck where it starts from at the front. Ill put some pictures up if you like. I've got a chrome strip too but it's the thicker one if that's any use.
