hmmm, its not a good colour. and its a ford, so why didnt he keep it a ford??? damn chevvy people do my nut. the spoiler is a bit OTT but if it helps keep the tail streight then so be it. it wont be half as fast as it looks and its too danm ugly! its a good toy but probably not too hot on the street. good for scaring your mates. |

In my opinion, that is Beautiful. My first car was a Mk1, 3 speed, bench seat, handbrake from the dash Cortina. Classic styling, superb lines. To see someone take something like that, shoehorn in a lump and mill of those proportions just raises the wow factor for me. Or am i just sad and lacking taste?

depends really, to average joe that thing blows his mind but iff you see stuff like that a lot the novelty wears off and you tend to focus on the real fine material. Its like if you see a lot of fizzys you dont smile as much seeing one as you would if you hadnt seen one since you sold yours in 1976 but generally brit cars dont have the styling or the cool factor to pull off a good custom job. theres a hot rod local my dad did some of parts on it but the guy (pete) spent 7 years building it in a standard car size garage with next to no tools, it blew my mind. for somone to put that much effort into a car, he had to roll it out into the street to work on it. remember he built this from nothing, its not a modified car it is a car FROM SCRATCH. and theres not one fault on it. |
