I'm Andy, 42, from Ashford in Middlesex, originally from Hull, and mine host on the website. I had a Fizzy back in 1978 when I was a teenage punk. When I did a search on eBay a couple of years ago I got hooked again.

I bought my current house mainly on the size of the garage, much to my wifes amazement, and spend most of my spare time pottering about in it. I got a bit carried away and at one stage had 10 fizzies :o I now have 5 and get a real buzz when I get an engine going after year or decades stood doing nothing.

I'm no mechanic, but enjoy playing around with cogs, levers and springs.

Anyway, that's enough about me, what about you? And do you have any Fizzy related photos u can send in :ph43r:

Thanks for welcoming me to the site.
I'm KC from Hounslow.
I've owned fs1e's since 1982.
The first one I had was a 1973 SS which I bought for £90- It was standard apart from a re-bore and a mk2 Beeline. It was old then, but fast and seemed to be better made than the DX which was the one to be on at that time.
I've still got the original speedo which reads 35K, god knows how many more miles it went on to do, because it was still running well when I sold it, 3 years later, for £60-.
Worth a bit more these days, shame I didn't keep that one!

Anyway, one wreck was left behind in my parents shed for 20 years, I've just dug it out and am trying to work out what I've got.

Hi KC

There are a lot of Baja restos going on so 2008 is the year of the Baja Brown!

If you need any help just say, there are a lot of local fizzy nuts in west London, Middx and surrey!

Cheers
Andy
