Hi new to the forum had my fizzy for 38 years now got it on my 16th birthday
Its a 1975 model Baja brown just embarking on a full restoration job as it’s been stood for 20 years at the back of our garage already ordered some new parts wiring loom rear mudguard swing arm bushes and various other bits

Can any one out there help me locate a fuel tank yea I know major problem especially the tank with the screw on badges
Binned the tank years age because it leaked petrol on the floor but back in those days there were plenty of spares available

Welcome to the site.

Ebay will be the usual hunting ground for a tank, but they are hard to come by now and even total wrecks fetch silly money.

Good luck with your resto

Welcome

I’ve got the same bike, not sure what sort of restoration you are embarking on? but the advise I would give, is buy genuine if you can, unlike me I started off with pattern and have slowly replaced with genuine and in some cases NOS, it does make a difference, but like I said it depends on the sort of bike you want to end up with.

Good luck and photos would be nice
