How high should the standard bars be?

I thought mine were genuine but now suspect they are from late restricted model

I believe that there were only 5 variations of handle bars on the fs1 range. Flats, semi ups used on theDX , standard early bars with brace, those used on the SE chopper, and the later high bars.

Which model is yours?

Its a 76 baja brown speed block. I am pretty sure they are genuine yamaha bars but look a little lower than some of the pics I've seen.

your bars should be the ones with the brace across if that's the case they should be pretty standard height wise

The only difference in the braced bars, is the diameter of material used for the brace.
Early ones were 12mm diameter and the later ones 10mm diameter.
