Hello, finally getting round to my white with red speedblock fizzy after a number of years has passed, anyone got any info? got no V5s or numberplate and has been used as a field bike for many years, the bike appears to be a bitza so perhaps a special is the way forward? I just wanted to know what people views and opinions on the idea? Also the bloke I brought it off had it on the road in the early 90s is there a possibility of easily getting the numberplate? Many thanks, Ben |

Welcome to the site. If the VIN on the headstock is still clear, it is possible, with a dating letter from a FS1E specialist ( I want to say mark, marque, marqe? but don't know how to spell it!) an age related plate can be applied for from the DVLA. If it is possible to find the old reg number, first a check on the DVLA website to see if its still on there, and the apply for a replacement v5 in your name. As for the way forward, the choice is yours. I you can put the VIn on here, we can tell you what it used to be, and then you can decide. |

Thankyou chastor, I have had the bike dated to 1974 and it was popsicle purple originally on my old account several years ago but have lost all the confirmation .i was just wondering whether if I applied for a v62 form with a cover note would they tell me if it was still on the system with just frame and engine? |

I'm not certain of how the delay operate regarding that type of enquiry. Someone else on here might know. |
