Narrator says: When we last left off, a scouting party for the Rokugan army had found the village of Forenza. They attempted to dispatch our heroes, but were made quick work by Lilly and Seth. After interrogating one of the survivors, they learned that the Rokugan army would arrive in 5 days. Therefore, Lilly and Seth did their best to make the most out of there 5 days. With Lilly managing the grouping, and the positioning the building and the gathering And Seth managing the training Things were moving along smoothly. The villagers felt that they were prepared, but many still felt it was a losing battle. Moral was incredibly low. ... It's the fifth day.. All we can do now is wait. Seth and Lilly are standing on the wall, where the first 8 scouts had first found the village. Seth says: Lilly, are you sure they will come from this direction? Lilly says: This is where they came from last time. I don't think they know of any other points of entry. Seth says: So you think we can catch them by surprise? Lilly says: I hope so. How many people do we have ready to fight? Seth says: Well The women and children have taken refuge in the mines. there are about 60 women and 30 children. We have about 30 archers ready to go, each equipped with basic melee weapons. I've told them to use the enemies weapons if they can, we are very under equipped and we have 80 Melee fighters behind the wall. Those with no battle experience at all, which is most of them, we're given lighter, easier to handle weapons and simple shields. The more experienced fighters, or those that are simply stronger, were given larger swords and tower shields so that they may take the front line in a battle. I have arranged everyone to hide behind the front line with the tower shields. The second line is equipped with simple spears and short swords to help blockers. All together 110 fighters Lilly says: Good work. That should be sufficient. Seth says: I hope they don't attack with too great of numbers, I figure we could hold back about 500 at a time if they are as unskilled as those scouts we fought a week ago It's already getting late, and the sun is beginning to set, they may be be planning a night battle Lilly says: Then we'll need a way to light up the ground, or our archers won't be able to see them. Seth says: Hmm maybe like a fire wall or something? we can start fires all around the village but the smoke would give away the perimeter of the village Lilly says: What if we had some torches we could launch once they get here? We can put some on the ground now, and increase the amount once they get here. Seth says: Hmm.. how can we launch them Lilly says: We can sharpen the ends and throw them from the wall. Seth says: Good Idea You There! Captain says: Yes? Seth says: Get all the archers to grab torches and sharpen the ends. Tell them that when the enemy comes, to light the torches and throw them into the ground outside the wall Captain says: Yes sir. I'll get right on that. *scurries off* Seth says: .... Narrator says: *Time passes* * says: Night Falls Crickets are chirping Owls are hooting Lilly says: It's pretty quiet out tonight. I'm not sure they're coming. Seth says: Well, its a very clear night, if they do come, we should be able to tell easily * says: *owls hooting in distance* Lilly says: How? Seth says: Well, listen, in the forest You can hear the owls, it's a sign that nothing is in the forest ... You look tired Lilly says: It's getting pretty late. Seth says: Hmm wait... The owls.... * says: *flapping noises* Seth says: ... Lilly says: Uh oh. They're coming. Everybody get ready! Seth says: ARCHERS! LIGHT THE GROUND! * says: *Every Archer throws their torch to the ground* *A loud noise in the bush, the sound of a 1000 voices all yelling a battle cry* *They emerge from the forest* Lilly says: Fire! Seth says: *draws bow* * says: *In one move, the entire archer compliment fires at the enemies below* Soldier 1 says: Oh god, that hurts like hell! *collapses* Soldier 2 says: *gets hit in chest and falls over* Soldier 4 says: *gets hit* Soldier 5 says: *gets hit in mouth, the arrow penetrates his throat and partially exits out of the back of his neck* *falls to ground* *gags* Soldier 6 says: Is that the best you can do? You couldn't hit the side of a barn! *an arrow pierces his heart and he falls over dead* Soldier 7 says: *Arrow hits in shoulder, deflects off shoulder armor* Soldier 8 says: *hit in the groin by an arrow and falls over dead.* Soldier 9 says: *Fires arrow at Archer 1* *Gets hit by arrow in the neck* Archer 1 says: *gets hit by arrow in stomach* *Falls forward off wall* Soldier 10 says: *Hit by arrow in chest* Soldier 11 says: *gets hit by arrow in leg and falls to ground* *is hit in the back by another arrow* *dies* Soldier 12 says: *three arrows strike him in the chest and he dies* Soldier 13 says: *Hit in chest with arrow* Soldier 14 says: *struck by an arrow and dies* Soldier 15 says: *gets hit in eye with arrow* Soldier 16 says: Tonight we dine in - Ow, my heart! *dies* Soldier 17 says: *gets hit in stomach* *dies* Soldier 18 says: *hit by an arrow* Ugh... My only regret... is that... I didn't live longer. *dies* Soldier 19 says: *gets hit by an arrow in the knee* AAAAAAAAAAAAAHH ... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGhh! UH! Ohhohohh It's In the bone It's in the bone! Oh, the bone *Collapses on ground crying* Soldier 20 says: Ha ha. Can't handle a minor injury? *gets hit in the heart.* It's just a flesh wound *dies* Soldier 21 says: *screams* *gets hit in face with arrow* Soldier 22 says: Idiots! Fire back at them! Seth says: ... Oh Shit! EVERYONE TAKE COVER! *ducks behind sheltered wall* * says: *everyone scrambles to hide behind a sheltered piece of wall* *arrows are fired* Archer 2 says: *Gets hit in chest* Falls backwards off the wall into the fighters below* Fighters Below says: GASP! Archer 3 says: *Gets hit by arrow in side just under left arm, falls to the left, off the front of the wall* Archer 4 says: *gets hit in head with arrow and is knocked sideways off the wall backwards* Enemy Commander says: Line 2, move forward, burn that wall down! Lilly says: There's the commander! Get him Seth! Enemy Soldiers says: *begin running towards the walls, grabbing the torches out of the ground* Seth says: *draws bow and peers around corner* *fires bow at commander* Enemy Commander says: *raises shield and blocks arrow* Enemy Soldiers says: *approach rock ditch, the first line of people all fall over tripping the entire force* Archer 5 says: *hit by arrow deflected from the commander's shield* Lilly says: We've stalled the enemy at the ditch. Finish them off! * says: *The archers move out from their hiding spots and all fire at the downed enemy soldiers* Enemy Archers says: *fire at the wall archers* Soldier 22 says: *gets hit in back by arrow* Archer 6 says: I've been hit! I can't go on! *falls off the wall* Archer 7 says: Ack! *falls off* Archer 8 says: *gets hit by arrow in stomach* Urk *falls over edge* Archer 9 says: *struck in heart and falls off edge* Enemy Commander says: Get up you fools! Line 4, grab the torches, burn that wall down, use dead bodies as steps if you need too! Soldier says: Yes, sir! Enemy Commander says: Bring in the catapult, aim for the wall, bring it down! * says: They begin pushing a catapult out of the forest into the clearing, and begin to aim it Soldiers Line 4 says: *runs together, and grab the now dropped torches from the fallen soldiers, using their dead bodies as a plat form, they cross the ditch of pebbles and rocks* *they toss the torches into the wall, immediately setting it ablaze!* Seth says: Oh crap! Lilly says: This is bad. They're going to burn the wall down! Seth says: .... WHATS THAT! Lilly says: *gasp* It's a catapult! * says: *Catapult fires* Seth says: IT'S HEADING RIGHT FOR US! JUMP! Lilly says: *Jumps to safety* Seth says: *jumps off back of wall into the village* * says: *As the giant rock thrown by the catapult hits the wood and stone wall, the wall explodes into flaming debris* Seth says: ...The wall.. it's gone! Lilly says: This is it men, this will decide the future of Forenza, we can't surrender, we can't turn back, it's fight or die, and if it is our time to die, let's take them to hell with us! Cave Scout says: *jumps down off a rooftop in front of Lilly* Humph Lilly says: What is it? Cave Scout says: Ma'am, there is a group of soldiers heading towards the caves Lilly says: How many? Cave Scout says: I am not sure, maybe 50 to 100 Seth says: Shit, we can't send fighters there now! Lilly says: We have to stop them! Seth says: But we can't, we don't have enough fighters we need everyone here Soldier says: Then we'll just have to evacuate everyone from the caves. We can't let them be harmed. * says: *Smoke begins to clear* Lilly says: Hurry! Let's get to the caves. Scout says: Urk *looks down, an arrow has appeared through his chest* *falls over* * says: *The entire army has gathered outside the wall, they are chanting and screaming battle cries* Seth says: You GO! *falls back into the fighters* Lilly says: *Nods* *runs toward the caves* Seth says: READY SHIELDS! BLOCKERS TO THE FRONT Enemy Army says: *charges through the wall towards our forces* Narrator says: *The two armies collide, bone and blade against shield and armor. With a hard and smooth push, the blockers knock back the wave of enemies, while spear men stab the off balance enemy* Narrator says: Lilly runs towards the caves where the women and children are hiding Lilly says: *Lilly enters the cave* Frightened Mother says: *gasp* Lilly says: You all need to get out of here. The enemy is heading here as we speak. I've come to evacuate this area. Frightened Mother says: *gasp* Voice from outside the cave says: Here it is Lilly says: Follow me. I'll lead you all to safety. *turns around* *gasp* Voice from outside the cave says: There they are! Mysterious Man says: Wait! I know this women! Lilly says: YOU! Mysterious Man, Soldier 3 says: Ah, the fire mage at last and away from your brother, no one to protect you, how convenient Lilly says: I won't let you... Bob? What the hell are you doing here? Soldier 3 says: Muhahaha, this man he works for us Lilly says: You... did you lead them here? Bob says: I am sorry Lilly Lilly says: What? How? Why, Bob? Bob says: They promised they would not hurt the trees if I helped them Soldier 3 says: haha this is too good Lilly says: The trees mean more to you than our friendship? I'll kill you all! *Throws a fire ball at the soldier behind Bob.* Soldier Behind Bob says: *explodes* Enemy Soldiers says: *GASP* *takes step back from the remains of the soldier* Mysterious Woman says: Hmm... Sounds like I'm needed *walks forward through the soldiers and stand in front of Soldier 3* Mysterious Woman says: So is this the fire mage you were so scared of? Soldier 3 says: ....y.y....e...s.s..ss. Lilly says: Who are you? Mysterious Woman says: Run along little girl, we have business to tend to here Lilly says: I'm not leaving, tell me who you are! Mysterious Woman says: That's enough! *points finger at Lilly, from finger, a beam of pure blue ice shoots towards Lilly* Lilly says: *vaporizes the ice with her fire* Women and Children in cave says: *gasp* Mysterious Woman says: Hmm... your better than I expected *swipes arm angrily through the air, facing Lilly, as she does, 5 huge ice pillars appear around Lilly* Lilly says: *attempts to cast another fire spell, but it fails* Damn it! Mysterious Woman says: Humph, as I suspected, just an infant, can't even use your magic at will pathetic fool! *turns towards people in cave* This should be easy *grins* People In Cave says: *Gasp* Oh no Lilly says: What's going on? I can't see anything! Mysterious Woman says: *begins to glow, ice is swirling her feet* *raises arms into air* Lilly says: Something happening. I can sense it. Random Cave Person says: Oh no, somebody helps us! Scared Mother says: Protect the children Another Scared Mother says: My sword... its so cold... It's freezing to my hand! Mysterious Woman says: Hahahaha it will be over soon Lilly says: *starts glowing* NOOOOOO!!! AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! Mysterious Woman says: *noticed ice prison glowing red, and cracking* Huh Lilly says: *explodes violently* Mysterious Woman says: Oh shi..... .... .... .... *looks down* *a large spike shaped piece of ice has been rammed through her stomach* ......t .... .... *falls over* * says: *the cloud of Ice dust clears* *Lilly is standing in the middle of what was her prison* Lilly says: *Huff* *Puff* Is everyone all right? Soldier 3 says: .... Uh... RETREAT! Enemy Soldiers says: *Runs off into the forest* Random Cave Person says: Iii..t.t...ss.s.. ss.s...o.o.o..o.o.o......c.....o..o....l.l.l..l...d.. Scared Mother says: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH MY BABY! SHES FROZEN SOLID! Child says: Mommy? Mommy? What's wrong, why won't you move? Hysterical Woman says: THEY ARE ALL FROZEN! Lilly says: Uh oh. I have to help them. Another Scared Mother says: Please.. help my son... *cries* Little Boy says: I can't feel my legs Lilly, to herself says: I can do this. I know I can. I just need to focus. Lilly says: *Lilly focuses really hard* * says: *the cave grows hotter* Lilly says: Yes, it's working. *Lilly focuses even harder* * says: *people start to thaw out* Scared Mother says: Huh!, IT'S WORKING MY BABY! PLEASE! Frozen Child says: *thaws a bit* Huh? *finishes thawing* Mommy, I can move! Mysterious Woman says: *opens eyes* Lilly says: Now let's all get to safety. Mysterious Woman says: *looks up and see's Lilly* Mysterious Woman says: *focuses on wound* Uhhh.. *The ice spike disappears* *ice forms over the wound, stopping the bleeding* Lilly says: Follow me everyone. Mysterious Woman says: *stands up slowly* Die! *spawns a giant ice spike and throws it at Lilly* Voice says: Watch out! Lilly says: *turns around and gasps* Narrator says: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Is this the end? is Lilly Doomed? Will the Villagers win? What about Seth, is he safe?
