I don't usually post work, but here's my two recent final year major projects (BA Graphic Design at Notts Trent Uni).

Seconded. I'd play it for all the achievements.

You know it would have achievements.

Love the game concept. The fairtrade advert looks pretty good, like something that would actually be shown on TV. My only complaint, if I had one, would be that the camera could have been steadier at times and on the Ferris wheel it doesn't zoom out enough to really see the girl with the sign (but money says that was more space issues rather than something than you did).

Otherwise, good job, I hope you get good grades for these.

Aye; I did my best to keep the camera steady while walking backwards, but the only counterweight I had was my contracted tripod on the bottom: it's still miles steadier than if I'd held it by hand (which I had to in the Ferris Wheel, and then I had to stabilise that a ton in places). On the Ferris Wheel, the camera is literally pressed against the back wall. I was debating whether to even zoom out enough to see her face on that, but yeah.

I can make a difference? Really? *sniff*

And yeah that's a neat-o game idea. ecspecially if its overworld ain't too linear. Though I wonder what you'd do for boss battles? Maybe have a floating boss that you shoot at while manuvering through a looped repeating song?

You could always go the other way and add jiggle. Especially if they wobbled the boards a bit more. Anyway nice concept.
Only thing to watch is that you might appear to be zooming as opposed to be physically tracking if it weren't for the bit in the ferris wheel and you know how much they hate zooming now. <_<
Btw, what camera did you use?

The game - hope you've copyrighted that!

Never touched the camera zoom during this, though a couple of compositions had different rates of track. I used a Kodak Zi8, which is still half price since January when I bought it.

I did say 'appear'. ;)

And cute! Surprising the quality you can get on the smallest sensors.

Hope these were received well. I certainly enjoyed watching them, especially the game. I agree with what's been previously posted as far as wanting to actually play it. Very creative concept! [My favorite was the 'floating' action for the character.] I love that it's SNES based. Still amazed at your knack for this sort of stuff.

What do you actually want to go into? Cos that's a pretty broad portfolio you've got there :)

edit: you might want to tag the software you used. Can't hurt to flog your skills more.

And it reminds me I really need to start my showreel. Argh!

My primaries are already on my CV, and less obvious software is noted on my site by the entries.
