A while back, someone posted a link to some of the (possibly out-of-date) background material on the _EN_ universe -- nations, cultures, etc. Can someone point me in the direction of that material (assuming it's still out there)?

I get the feeling that the site you're thinking of no longer exists. Regardless, a lot of the material on that was outdated in the extreme.

And what isn't outdated is likely to be ignored, retconned or mocked for the sake of a good joke nowadays. I mean, they were making a Sonic/40k crossover that was serious, would anyone really want that out there easily found on the internet?

Pretty sure there's a thread asking for this every year, but is this it? I'm certain Silv made a sticky with it in a while back, but I couldn't find it.

It was in one of the individual author forums, that got deleted due to disuse a while back.

No, the sticky was in the main comics forum. I remember putting it there, and I remember removing it when I felt it had outlived it's usefulness.

The validity of any remaining grim referance site is questionable: accurate at a surface level, perhaps, but lacking or awkward in specific - except where outright contradicted by EN's own needs.

I believe the site Pix found was the last iteration of any formalised background notes, and will probably remain as such for as long as it remains online. It's potentially inaccurate, definately out-dated, and almost certainly missing several key pieces of information, but it's there if you want to read it. It serves no benefit to point people -to- it though, so unstickied it shall remain.

Yeah -- that's the one. Thanks.

I confess -- I'm a fan of well-developed universes, and I find myself asking the sorts of questions which are highly unlikely to ever be dealt with in the comic (for ex.: How well-known are Inquisitors, generally? Someone like Jamilla, of course, needs to remain behind the counter; but the garden-variety ones...).
