Dude, Pix got mugged by people who asked politely for his belongings.

I'm fairly sure he'd have a heart attack if someone produced a knife, let alone a gun.

If by 'politely' you mean shoved me up against a wall and shoved their hands straight in my pockets both repeating "Whatchoo got fer us", I can see why your sense of manners is so skewed.

And please don't remind me of Robin Hood. The film is being shoved down my throat from every angle simply because I live here. Posters hanging from every lamp-post, on pretty much every billboard. When I went to see Iron Man 2, all the preview posters in the lobby were for Robin Hood, and there were two trailers for the film before ours.

And no, I'm not going to see it.

Luckily that movie doesn't appear to be about light-hearted outlaw thieves, it's Gladiator 2 instead.

It's funny because that was the most stimulation you'd had in awhile.

I used to be a bit more sporty than I am nowadays. Played football with the guys at school, did Taekwondo until the club shut down without telling anyone and I was pretty good with basketball until I managed to break one of my fingers - it put me off.

During university time however, I joined a karate club midway through the year. Now that I'm home for the holidays I'm unable to go since uni is about seventy odd miles away. Plus, the university shoved me into the accomodation that was a mile and a half away from the campus so I would walk about three miles on most days when I had class.

I also play pool but that's not really a sport - it's more a game of "See if you can actually hit anything while your friends are trying to distract you and you've had a glass or two earlier." ;) I'm not half bad when I'm sober.

Surely these criminals are nothing more than light hearted outlaws that only wish to sing, steal from the rich to give to the poor and sell textiles?

....you have a lofty view of our part of the world don't you?

eh, high school American football, class C. nothing special.

Still not a bad way to kill time. even made it into the paper twice. once as a mistake, a team mate forgot his god damn jersey so I let him borrow my spare, so the reporter read my number.

I submit that American FOOTBALL should be renamed to Hand Ovoid.
Soccer should be Football in america.
British Isles should drive on the right side of the road. Universal language should be english. U.S.A. should convert to metric. and The world cup series should be an international holiday.

Y'know, I read that, and all I could imagine was the entire island in a car driving down the road.

I don't think we've got a car big enough to pull that off.

Even if we built one that size, I don't think there's a road big enough to take that car either.

@theeconomy - Short answer is that we're British and do things differently. Accept that and the fact that the majority of the members are UK based and the confusion goes away - mostly. For instance, why do you guys call your trousers pants? That's silly.
