Looking at stuff like this, it's pretty likely that aliens are out there somewhere, even if they haven't reached above the soup level yet.

Thing is, the more realistic view is that alien life would be more cell like or animal like rather than intergalactic civilizations simply because it would be more common.

Still, its amazing to find new stuff on our own planet.
