Hey, everyone has their right to disagree.

Problem being these politicians disagree by waving thier big nuclear missile penis extensions around instead of going out for a pint and talking it out or, at least, having a a fist fight in a Wetherspoons pub car park.

'Hey, everyone has their right to disagree.'

and thats why we arnt commies lol, it just seems that whenever i make a political opnion i get mocked, then questioned on where i learned whatever. and when i link anything, the sites are shot down as being run by corporations and\or biased, or the subject gets changed. its happened about 3 times now i think. i dont really care though, if it bothered me that much id have stopped posting. i just see it as being better at holding a debate lol.

i still dont get why they disallowed the peace prize as a posthumtuous honour in the 60s or 70s. a lot of people who have done so much only get recognised for their achievements after they are gone, it just seems like some people who have done great things will be forgotten to all but those in the know.

iran might need bombing soon.

You're a freaking lunatic. Think about what you just said. If nothing sounds wrong, then you're exactly what's wrong with your country.

Also a fun way to spend a Friday night, just, to comment.

I don't actually have anything political to add to this discussion (as I barely follow politics, couldn't tell the difference between a Democrat or Republican--and don't care), but I'm happy that Obama got a Nobel Peace Prize, and amazed that he did so soon after being accepted into office.

To me, he seems to be a huge step up from Bush, and that's putting it lightly.

Poor judgment at the time. Kinda like the women drunk guys take home from the bar. Oh sure, at the time it seemed like a good idea, but just wait until the next morning and you wake up next to a Yeti.

I think some of us actually enjoy the cut and thrust of debate. Others like to inform others of what they thinks important.
And others still.....Live under a bridge, harrasing Billy goats

Having said that I certainly enjoy them.

Because I refuse to ban them outright, despite the fact it'd make my life oh-so much easier.

I love it when a forum comes together.

And I bring up the question of just what Obama has done to get the prize. Seriously, what? Is it sending more troops to Afghanistan? Sparking partisan debate over healthcare? Just looking good?

That was my thought.

Its as if they are giving him the prize for things they think he will do. Its like giving an Oscar before the film is out of production.

Could be worse.

"Not being George W. Bush" indeed. Can you imagine what might have happened if W had been taken out? Cue the Imperial March!

Yeah, I think the only reason W survived his term is because everyone realised that if anything, he was keeping even worse people in line.

It doesn't take just one person to do all the damage of the past 8 years. That administration was rotten to the core.

This year's prize is better suited for Bill Clinton. At least he's done something of merit.

Do have to grudgingly agree with the Clinton suggestion. At least he actually did something, not just say it.

Wanna run that by me again? Your arguments are shot down so you're better at debating? What? That's like me saying I'm really good at getting punched in the face so I must be a great fighter.

I mean for fuck's sake you linked to JIHAD WATCH!
