Very odd, but a film to look at i guess given who the main star is. Although I very much doubt he can top the man/puppet duo that is them: Posted Image |

It sounds really interesting at first glance... ...but then again, I said the exact same thing about Final Destination, The Happening, Knowing, Cloverfield, and The Day After Tomorrow. And I ended up hating all o' them. |

Doesn't help the movies you highlighted were crap in general. Except Cloverfield, i thought tht was decent. |

Like I said, "looked interesting at first glance." =P Also: Cloverfield. I liked the fact they were trying to put a new spin on it, but I still ended up hating it. Sure, it made things interesting to see from the viewpoint of John McEveryman helplessly caught in the middle of it all, but in the end, it felt like I was watching that one hand-cam of the streets of NY during 9/11, stretched out over two hours. I would've appreciated not nearly falling down the two flights of theatre steps to the parking garage afterwards from the vertigo of two hours through a camera with a bad case of the fits as well. But we're getting aside from the point. =P Why a beaver, though, of all things? |

It's better to have a dead animal on your piano, than an infected beaver on your organ. My dad taught me that joke. When I was a kid. Twisted, eh? The puppet isn't a euphamism. Not in the least. No sirree. Nuh-uh, no way. Not after this experience he had. |

There's no way this can go wrong. It has Mel Gibson talking to a hand puppet. If it succeeds, it'll be strangely heartwarming, if it fails, it'll be hilariously bad. |

No-you can spot the clunkers a mile away. There are sometimes sign posts however- "Staring ASHTON KUTCHER!" (Oh this'll be bad...') "Based of the hit video game!!" (BISON DOLLARS!) "An epic story of one woman's struggle." (SNOooooorrreezzzz) "*Insert ghetto term for being stead forth or forthwright in a dancing movie*" (Hastur, Hastur, Hast...) |

Really though, they could do worse. Keanu may be a plank but Spike isn't the most emotive character I can think of anyway. |
