Did it ever occur to you to use the image program of choice to just flip the picture? It's not that hard lol.

Got one of these to take with me to Iraq as it's far more versatile than my Kabar.

when I Find someone around Ft Campbell who is also into medieval martial arts I'll probably drop for one of these.

most of my disposable income goes into ammo and warmachine miniatures.

I would, but I took the picture on my phone and couldn't be arsed connecting it up exporting the picture flipping it and rehosting it.

Bah, I'd rather have one of these. CUT. THROUGH. ANYTHING.

Bah, I'd rather have one of these. CUT. THROUGH. ANYTHING.

Bad time to mention I spent part of this past weekend at the Portland Blade Expo,
where the Reinhardt Legacy Fighting Team gave a hands-on demonstration of "how
hard or easy something is to cut". Hint: It's not nearly as obvious as it would seem.

For instance: A blade designed to cut through Soft Things easily won't cut through
Hard Things easily, and vice versa. Also, the mass of the object enters into it; an
empty soda can can be cut, but not easily, as there's nothing to stop the blade
simply shoving it along (resistance is *not* futile... :) ).

[NOTE: There's a snarky comment I could make here -- but I won't. >:) ]

this staement is truer than you intended.

there is at least one case where, during a raid, a soldier used his tomahawk toe defend himself when a man tried to grab his rifle from him.

whipped out his tomahawk and buried it in the man's head.

a Tomahawk is also a very versatile tool, far moreso than a fighting/utility knife such as the venerable Kabar that I've used since I was 18. a good tomahawk is sharp enough to do all the fieldcraft a knife is normally required to do and then some.

But equipping the knife makes you run faster.

There's at least five different games it can probably apply to.

I ordered the Tomahawk, but it'll be later this year until I get to use it, rather than hitting people with my shotgun/pistol/medkit.

I got a Nerf Raider some time ago. I do not regret it.

Though I did suddenly realise that with all accessories detached, the Recon looks a lot like a Bolt Pistol.

Oh, Jesus Christ -- a NERF gun with a fucking banjo magazine?

[sigh] The tragedy being: IT MUST BE MINE! :)

Nah, I'll just say I'm with the Imperial Fists.

The drum also works with the Recon, and vice versa. I actually got a regular magazine extension as well because the drum is pretty unwieldy. Hm, I should post pics.
