Given the distance/times involved, staying the night would make sense for me. Of course, we've already established I've got trouble affording entry, so the extra cost there is tricky.

Hum.

Pix has 2 for 1 coupons, they'll help.

Also, that 4 person room ain't bad; you won't find much better than £30 a night anywhere else. Right there by the park too, and did I read early entry? Noice. 'Course it's a family room, so you'd probably end up sharing double beds :P

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY.

There's a family room for £120.05 in the splash hotel, not including the park entry. that £30 and a bit. If there's a single bed, I'm having it. It'd probably be one double bed, and two singles or something.

You only get the early opening if you get the ticket's online, so the 2 for 1 will be useless for that. I think this is gonna cost roughly £60-£70 for everyone by the looks of it, if they're staying a night and if you buy the tickets online. The ticket prices on the day are £37. If we've only got limited 2 for 1 things I don't mind giving up mine, since I don't have problems affording it.

BTW, better check the dates on those, bet you they end in September as well.

This is turning to be a pretty expensive get together...even worse with the prospect that a select few from the group will force others on looped rollercoasters via any means necessary. Mostly with cloraform.

Rimmer: I told you, he's agreed. He's perfectly happy about the situation.
Kryten: Well then, why did you make me chloroform him... and why did he struggle so?

£60 is a bit steep though, what was wrong with that campsite Virus was on about? I'd join you if you went for that, just for a laugh. Tents are easy to borrow from people, and the option of cars is still open for those girly enough to say they're cold.

There's nothing girly about civilisation. £60 for me isn't much. You lot can camp if you want, I'll be using a hotel thanks. Me and Stuart could room, since we're man enough to admit that TENTS ARE STUPID.

I'd show up, and wouldn't mind sleeping in a tent if I absolutely had to suffer the indignity of it all, but:

A) None of you should be inflicted with my presence for any sustained period of time

B) No way in hell I'm swimming the Atlantic. Especially since I'd have to hike to California, jump into the Pacific, and swim around the tip of South America to get to the Atlantic to start with (can't afford the Panama Canal lock fees donchaknow).

Plus I'd reek of brine by the time I got there. And no one wants that.

Well, I should have enough to spend a night at a hotel (or at least chip in on the price of a shared room). I just don't see myself as the camping type.

If you want Drew, you could get a bus to Boro, and me and you could drive down from there.

Sounds like a plan, mate. I'll chip in with petrol costs and for the hotel room as well.

Much the same here -- tho' there are such things as Airplanes.... :)

What's the earliest you can get to boro on a Sunday, we'd drive down then, have the day in the park on monday, and drive back monday afternoon and you could kip at my place on monday night.
