Well that's why I suggested staying at the same hotel.

But they might not let riff raff like Pix in.

Which reminds me, how far away do you live from Alton Towers, my boy? Close enough to know good local pubs? Good-o!

Considering I'm just getting the bus down Monday morning, that's not an issue.

There'll be a few down in Alton, a quick Google Maps search revealed a few.

Nobody was questioning if there were local pubs, just if you knew any good ones.

Y'know, so we can all [mostly] meet for a light drink Sunday night to get the formalities (Hi, I'm [USERNAME HERE]. Nice to meet you for realz, yo. Etc.) done with. Which would be why I'm relying on you to know pubs.

Gods damn it, be more social.

Asking me if there's any good pubs out even in Meir is like asking you if you know any good pubs in Norwich. I'm relatively close, but it's still an estimated 3 hours' walk.

Pfft, yeah and? At least I have friends. Friends who could tell me of a good pub in Norwich.

Why don't you have friends?

You don't have friends, you have tolerators.

Isn't that true of all human interactions?

Yeah, Jeff. I won't be going DX on rollercoasters. I'll instead be contemplating what I would like for lunch. And how to make my phone go "NEED A DISPENSER HERE" every time I receive a text message or MSN message.

You'd also better all go on one of those teacup rides. And you had better appear to be having the time of your lives.

That would depend on what "going DX" means.... :)

Would it be equivalent to "Code [V|P|H]" at Mouseschwitz*:

http://www.alert.org/Freq_info.htm ? :)

[*: Disneyland; Walt Disney World is "Duckau".... >:) ]

You read far too much into it, it's an emoticon, much like (= or D=.

I have a note from my mummy saying that you can't.

EDIT: I'm now wondering the legitimacy of this. Pix. It's your job, as caretaker of 7-0-7, to print this list off and make sure it happens.

Retro and I would, naturally, have to change our answers. Mine would be "The biggest, scariest ride and be totally bored of it".

I fully and shamelessly admit I am too much of a wuss to go on big scary upside down rides.

Loth did say he would drag me on one, thats only if he can catch me first. :P

But I'm generally happier with medium level rides and the daft fun of a theme park than the huge white knuckle things. Anyone else who's going that I won't simply be waiting on half the time?

To be honest, I'm the same. I've tried queuing up for white-knuckle rides before, then I remember that I'm a massive coward and I leg it.

Never been on any upside-down rides, but that's just through lack of opportunity to. I'll go on a few iconic ones at the park (or just one if it freaks me out for some reason), but I wouldn't mind waiting with people who aren't up for it, mainly because queues would annoy me.

Having experienced an In-Flight Emergency, I have no need to go on anything which
Drops Suddenly.

That said: Spending four hours repeatedly riding The Haunted Mansion *will* result
in Disneyland's Security people asking some *very* odd questions of one.... :)

To be honest, I've been far more afraid queuing for insane-looking rides than I have been while actually on them.

After my parents' driving there's really not much a rollercoaster can do to scare me.

So hats are a necessity. And let's get as varied a selection as possible. Like Retro. Retro has an odd choice of hat.
