The LOTR films are terrible. Just like the books.

You have a whore mouth, Feldoon.

We already knew this.
[Note: the above would be peppered with links if I was as anal as Pix]

The first book bored me to tears because some hairy-footed Devonians were celebrating a shared birthday and the movies were long-winded piles of crap. I actually passed some time by staring out into the street one day when someone put one of them on.

The books, fair enough, filled with ancient language and pointless songs every half page, but the films? You need to grow a sense of awareness for these things other than what you see without analysis.

A bunch of Rank amateurs is what you is. I own (and have paid for)
ALL 3 of 'The Darkness' trilogy (NSFW so don't look it up at work)
The Host (Very shitty Korena horror film)
Steven Seagal in 'Against the Dark'-Steven Seagal fighting vampires with a Katana.

Beat that.

I saw no moving cars. I heard no cars. Analysing this evidence led me to the conclusion that that road was low-traffic.

And whilst doing so I missed nothing of the LOTR plot. Missed a lot of bullshit, pointless dialogue and excessive, long-winded scenes.

Can't most Steven Seagal films be summed up as "Steven Seagal fighting [insert enemies here] with a Katana"?

As for me? Probably the 1986 Transformers movie. (Seeing as I'm at college and the bulk of my DVDs are back at home, and thus I don't have them right in front of me, I'm going on what I remember.)

Son of the Mask. It was actually cheaper to buy The Mask + sequel boxset than The Mask on its own. That's right, the presence of the sequel actually decreased the value of the package. I haven't watched it. It would be still shrinkwrapped, but I think my little brother watched it one day.

dude...how can you possibly hate the host?
i have every one of peter jacksons movies, if he wasnt so physically repulsive i'd bonerate the guy like a beast. i just hope he hurries up with Neill Blomkamp and makes district 9 already. that guys got a way of making everything so immersive.

his 8 min test for the halo footage was amazing, microsoft are dicks for putting it on hold and almost ruining his big chance.

Don't watch it.
I watched it in Spanish on a long bus trip in Peru.

I much more enjoyed what another passenger left in the wee-only toilet.

The Transformers Movie is awesome....right up until Optimus Prime dies. Then it's just a big load of suck.

May I elaborate? Please? Okay...

When I bought it on DVD years ago, I bought it sort of on impulse, also thinking it would take me back to when I first saw it as a little kid.

And no, I'm certainly not trying to troll or anything like that.

AVP and AVP2. Came as part of the Alien/Predator Ultimate box set. They are just so bad compared to the originals.

even charles dance and pete postlethwaite cant save alien 3.
avp2 was okay, was gory as fuck and did have a few good scenes. but its so dark you can hardly see anything at times and it needed more predator.

robert rodriguez is rehashing predator one into a movie called predators....yes, ther are moar of them. i think it will probably suck, but id still download it to see.

If we're talking dark, then you havent seen Starship Troopers 2: Hero of the Federation. The cg was laughingly bad, the script was insensible, everything was dark to cover up said cg and bland locations of open cliffs and a room. The cherry on the cake was they got the same actor from the first film who plyaed the captain play a different character in this film.

Thank god we then got Starship Troopers 3: Marauder which brung back the leave your brain behind fun that ST made.

It was still terrible. And the titular Marauders were in the film for all of three minutes.
