Storyline by fellow Brit Warren Ellis, this is the darkest Action Force (better known to us Yanks as G.I. Joe) ever seen. No lasers this time as you'll all see:

Probably. At the very least there's some psychology in it.

It has Christopher Eccleston and they rust the Eiffel Tower into oblivion.

So it's already ahead of Transformers.

Those are good-but what the hell is Cobra Comander? The reason they changed it from the hood or old mask? It was too scary. The hell? That mask is 5 times worse.

I get the feeling CC will be like Megatron in Transformers, hinted at until the final part of the film when the gloves come off.

And killied ignomiously?
Godammit why can't they get someone who knows the source material? This, TF and....the Deadpool debacle in Wolverine. Why Hollywood...WHY?

Oh, they know the source material.

I'll say one thing for Transformers. Bay knew the material. It wasn't ruined because it wasn't true to the source material. It was a terrible film due to sub-par editing and horrific camera work.

Also inexplicable plot revelations.

*Long ass speech by Prime on how Megatron came to Earth, how Sam's glasses have the location off the Allspark etec.*

Rayel: How the hell do they know this?
Me: Oh that's because... I have no fucking idea.

Because all these people secretly desire to be self proctologists-so they keep pulling it out their ass.

Well, I might actually watch this. One way or another.

And Bay knew the material, his problem was executives who thought people wouldn't want to see giant robots in a movie about giant robots, and instead would rather see Shia LeBouf as a grasping dork trying to get laid.

Personally I thought Shia was pretty decent, made me chuckle once or twice. Shame he's never managed that in any other movie.

Nah, they seemed to have this impression I wanted to see a pointless hacker subplot that added nothing to the film whatsoever, and saved the world another twenty minutes of precious time.

We should talk less about Transformers and more about how fucking awesome Resolute is turning out to be.

I'm not sure if it's blocked outside NA, but they have parts 1-10 on the Adult Swim website. If it is blocked, this youtube guy has all 10 episodes that are currently out.

Watching 9 and my suspension of belief has gone. Hawk and Scarlett stand in the middle of a load of exploding barrels that only come up to their knees since they've been knocked over, standing up bold as brass firing pistols while surrounded by Cobra guys with SMG's and assault rifles who are firing full auto at them from between 10 to 30 feet away...and none of the fucking bastard Cobra agents can hit them.

OK I can understand the that if it was the 80's show, but in a less campy version where a Joe has already been killed and we watch an old Japanese guy take a bullet to the brain it's taking the piss.

It's John Woo logic. If your opponents have machine guns and you have pistols, you will win every time. I call it the 'Chow Yun Fat clause'.

Also whilst cobra commander is apparently not as shitty as before, his grunts are (as he rages)

I point To our friendly metal headed arms dealer standing in Plain view, instead of (Oh I don't know) taking cover
