Posted Image My haul this year (including the chair) minus two selection boxes, 4 cans of Deodorant and 5 bottles of shower gel. Please don't ask about the cowboy hat, it was a secret santa gift. My gifts for others: Mum - irish coffee set containing two glasses a small bottle of whiskey, a small bottle of bailey's, some chocs and some coffee. As well as some cheap jewellery Dad - Set of 4 sport bags. Brother - Simpsons Movie on DVD (as I was mean enough to get the blu-ray version for myself) Secret Santa - Stuffed toy puppy, book of sudoku puzzles and some bath salts. Not bad for £4.50. |

Oh yes indeed. Whilst some comics are crude, and some incredibly offensive, Jimmy seems to do that, but with such a style and detachment that it gives that special laugh... The one where you piss yourself with mirth, before realising a moment later it's so very, very wrong. What's worse than finding a maggot in your apple? Being raped. What do you get when you put a baby in the blender? An erection. See? |

1) The Holocaust 2) An erection (Ah, they're in white) I've heard more daring jokes than Jimmy's Carr's, though. I'm sure I'd get some PMs if I told them here, I'm a collective goldmine of racist, sexist (and Madeline McCann) jokes. Just a couple, highlight for answers. If you get offended, then don't blame me, blame yourselves for highlighting. Edit: Taken down due to regret for possible consequences I don't want happening. Have a good time boxing, savages. |

So've I. What I haven't heard is a better way in which daring jokes are told. See, that's part of the whole joking experience: telling/being told a joke. It's all well and good having a funny joke, but if you can't say it right or you say it in a way that makes you appear to be putting on a front, it's just not honest and not funny. |

Hello again...my turn to tell you about the swag I got! I got a new four-in-one jacket because my other one bit the dust (so much for Roots being a good brand of clothing [the Aussies may laugh now]*), along with two Carol Burnett DVDs, a homemade bracet, a tablecloth and napkins, fifty dollars, a $250 gift-card to go clothes shopping, Dragon Quest VIII, and an ornament. I got my parents tickets to go see Billy Joel back in November, which was their early xmas gift. I had to get them something to open under the Santa Claus (stupid cat prevented the tree from going, bless that furry pain in the ass), so I got them series 1 and 2 of Red Dwarf. For my sister, I got her the first two Return to Labrinth Tokyopop comics (they aren't technically manga in my opinion), and the first book of The Dark Crystal prequel. It was a quiet one for us; we're in no way religious so it really means nothing to my family. It was just another day, a day that I actually had off from work. Too bad that I was in a really bad mood from a myriad of things (not being interested as a whole, dealing with my mother, receiving character assassinations about me from my family, hating the blatant consummerism of the month, insomnia etc)... I didn't enjoy it at all. All I can say is THANK GOD IT'S FINALLY FUCKING OVER!! *As most people know, the 2000 summer olymics were held in Sydney Australia. The Canadians uniforms were all donated by a Canadian company that's called Roots. Roots is a synonym for "fuck" in the land down under. So you can imagine the hilarity of the situation: The Aussies had a ligitimate reason to say "Hey, there goes another Canadian fuck!" Or so I understand the situation...feel free to correct me! |

New shoes (from Mom), a 2 gb mp3 player (from Mom and oldest sis), a thermos (wtf Mom?), & an Advanced Photoshop magazine imported from Europe (oldest sis). There was a promise of a gallon of milk from my older sis, but I don't see anyting. For others, I got Mom perfume, my niece an electronic musical keyboard, older sis & her boyfriend gloves, for my oldest sis I got some large warming pans or something like that... I kinda forget EXACTLY what it was... and I got my grandma a ceramic tube heater. |

a Rob Zombie T-Shirt an embroidered towel... two gift cards, a check - value $60 already spent $20 and... a trip to Disney World. no one who has an inner child can be dissapointed with that. though the magic kingdom was actually closed due too full, but epcot center and DisneyMGM studios with the Tower of terror made up for that. |

I got the 3rd season of Beast Wars on DVD (so now I have all 3!), Cirque Du Soleil's Varekai on DVD, Dr McNinja and Goblins comic books, a McNinja autographed poster, a nice pair of socks, two blankets, a notebook with sticky notes, a horse calendar and a how-to-draw-horses book. I'm quite happy. ^__^ |

Well considering Mom bought various presents for our relatives and signed them from me and the brother I only had to buy four. My brother got my Dad some books in addition to the present I got him. For Mom: House Season 3 and some makeup stuff For Dad: Doctor Who Season 3 For the Brother: A book about Planets...and two Wii games. Any minute now he's going to demand I play against him in that Olympics thing... For my friend D: A scary doll that also doubles as a halloween investment :D I got some clothes, a Dragonforce album, a few DVDs including the Transformers movie, manga books, a couple of novels and money. Today I bought The Colour Of Magic and a few other books using said money and I've still got about £40 left over. The brother got me some hair straighteners so I'll need to try that out soon. T'was a good year. Except I want to know why my Aunts keep giving me makeup  |

Heh, good choice. I shall not expect you to talk for days. But I will still taunt you wth my Limited Edition version. *waves it about. Update from me to keep the flow of this topic. Bought the final 8 volumes of Rurouni Kenshin manga (total being 28.) along with my other manga, it pretty much straddles the entire table it sits on. Now to go for either Busou Renkin or D.Gray-man... |

I've just realised I haven't contributed much to this topic. So here's a it of a throw-down: The Naked Jape by Jimmy Carr and Lucy Greeves. Which, quite frankly, is awesome from what I've read. Funny and informative. Something the BBC Breakfast news is if you're fucking stupid and are easily amused by the antics of children. Mighty Boosh series 1 and 2 boxed set because it took me until series 3 to get it. Watched it all now, just want to get my hands on the Live '06 show. Another novel, fiction, by the name of Dexter in the Dark. The trilogyith instalment of Jeff Lindsay's crime novel series which has spawned a TV show. And, with enough attention span to cover one more item, Metroid Prime 3. Which I absolutely hated playing on a 26'' HD TV using the Scart connection. So I had to immediately set out to buy a component cable for my Wii and set it to 480p. I then proceeded to drool over how awesome it looked compared to even certain 360 games I've seen. |

The Live show is funnier than all of Season2 put together. Go buy and watch. The Dexter series are the best shows that've been on all year/years, except House. It beats Heroes and Lost hands down in every respect. Go download before they come to the UK (I believe they're already on FTN or FX, or a random channel I never watch, but it's much easier to torrent). Go watch. |

Never understimate the use of towels. As one wise man said "Never leave home without a towel". This was also the same person who thought cars were the dominant species on Earth, but we can let that one slide. |
