More james bond style bending of mirrors and refractions than true 90 degree bending of light in sci-fi. Still cool nonetheless.

We're British. We can do anything.

Except produce a high quality hard sci-fi drama.

It's been in the works for a while. When James Bond's Aston Martin Vanquish had it, I was actually more impressed by the fact that it started after a night outside in Iceland.

I don't see how this is gonna actually work in the desert.

Tanks kick up WAY too much dirt and leave rather obvious tracks...

It'd probably be effective when still though.

Just the desert? I don't see how it's going to work anyplace that has weather. Can you imagine seeing a giant, hollow mudsplatter bearing down on you? You're right, though, it'll work great when it's not moving - unless it's snowing.

I think a giant engine kicking out 1500hp could be a little noisey too.

It was later denied by military officials that the main funding for this project came from a small religious organisation caling itself "The BRotherhood of NOD"...

I can't be the only person to think it right?

.....huh, I only just realised. Now all we need is the americans to build the Mammoth Tank and an unknown meteor and introducing to us a new crystaline material into the ecology.

This really would be more handy for aircraft, as we've seen in EN itself.

Not unless they're hovering tanks.

Which makes me wonder why they're making tanks invisible BEFORE they make them hover.

I heard that they were going to phase out using tanks, because they cost so much money, and that they are a bitch to ship out to other locations.

And yes, I took this literally... Knowing my luck, I have just stumbled across something that is a crock of shit and...

Ew...I think I need a shower...

With that mentality, what makes you think they haven't produced hover tanks ala GDI already?

Oh, they have. I know they have.
They just weren't invisible and presenting them on the battlefield would prove they reverse engineer alien tech.

Well, hate to sound cheesey, but if they have pilots who train enough the tank could be manouvered easily enough.
