I went to see Ross Noble for the second time earlier, and he is one of the most awesome comedians ever to live, period. Words can't describe how good it was, and if you're near a Vue cinema, you can watch Nobleism (this tour) live from Liverpool across the country. Just do it, or just buy Randomist on DVD.

Also, going to see Bill Bailey in his new tour (Tinselworm) in November, in Manchester. Is anyone else seeing Bill, or has seen Noble?

I envy you Pix. I love stand-up comedy. It's one of the truest and greatest art forms out there. And now that I'm eighteen, I'm planning on visiting the local free mic nights, and then, hopefully I can youtube it. It's just a wonderful craft. (I wonder if anyone will get my God of War set...)

My frisky housemate is trying to get me a ticket to see Bailey up in Notts. It would be a dream.

Might get a chance to see him in Cardiff (I think it's him there) when I move in a few days :)

"Can you tell us what you remember about the show?"

"We've been queuing for a while. On the 7th hour, we've run out of beverages. We had to scavenge all we could from those that were left behind in the rush.

Half a burger.
Warm beer.
A handfull of Tic-Tacs."

"Do you remember where you were?"

"When Bill Bailey finally came to the stage, I was in the back of an overturned popcorn trolley trying to grab the last butter popcorn."

"How did you manage to keep it together?"

"We knew...Bill Bailey was still in the act. He gave us hope."

Hate to pull up a two-month old thread, but it's worth it. I just got back from Bill Bailey... Best. Gig. Evar.

Got a programme, with a free plectrum, badges and CD, and they also recorded the entire show and mass-pressed them (pretty quickly I might add) to some CDs, which were on sale for a tenner. Awesome stuff.

Our seats turned out to be right at the back, but it was still fantastic.

My brother came back from the performance in Glasgow saying it was very disappointing. Everything else I've heard about it is good - maybe he accidentally went into Ricky Gervais...
