Why is Virus never allowed to drive anything? =''(

Had this idea a while back, and kept playing about with positions. I've found one I like, and made the entire thing in Flash, shading and all. It's actually pretty easy to do shading in Flash if you know how, and it looks better doing FanArt for a webcomic with this shading instead of using Burn in Photoshop (sharp shading > smooth shading).

Well it depends on the angle you're going for, when it comes to shading. Traditionally, using the burn tool is no different than simply adding black in different ammounts to a base color over a certain spectrum. Smooth shading is better done by finding darker colors to hit the shades with, than black.
Case in point, shading something orange would be done better through adding more red in the darker areas, than black. Or blue to violet shades, or brown shades. You just need to know your color wheel, and never trust the handy shortcuts that any digital coloring software offers.

Such as using a darkening and lightening tool to specify lines all black, when simply running over your lines again would look much better. :3

Wait... wha? I mean that I'm using webcomic shading (using 1 darker colour to shade in each area of colour), rather than artistic shading (using a gradient/gradual tone): check our the Trogdor piece for the artistic shading, and this one for sharper shading (or andy of Vii's comics)

I think what Calvin is getting at is, there's being yourself, and then there's being out-of-your-way yourself. No one here cares that you're gay, and I'm sure we all respect you for that. It's just...when you consistently make dirty jokes, at every chance you get, things either get really annoying, or really uncomfortable.
Kind of like if we started making dirty jokes at the expense of women. I'm sure Rachel, or whatever her username is, would start to get pretty uncomfortable.

We're not saying, don't be yourself, we're just asking that you, just that you tone it down on jokes. Besides, if you keep making them, then you can expect one of the four Inquisitors to put a boot to your behind, and all that. So, for yourself, and us, just...make the jokes when appropriate, but don't try and FORCE them, okay?
