Right, I've been bored today. Made this: Copy and Paste into Address Bar if it doesn't work. Watching it in a browser isn't right as it happens with flash files. Save it and use the standalone flash player, unless you don't know how, then feel free to watch it in the browser. Hope everyone enjoys it, for the short time it lasts. I possibly intend to do more, mainly because I'm learning more about Actionscript, slightly due to boredom. Again, enjoy. EDIT: Someone's had a problem, for some reason. Here's what should be happening: 1: FPS view, shoots EN into the wall, leaves marks. 2: Side on view, gun is smoking, zooms out. 3: Lothar looks at the camera, black bars come across. 4: Link, names, and signature appears. If anyone else has problems, say so, I'll try and fix it in the mean time. |

Eh, s'not bad. However, it may look better if you did less shots for each letter or had the laser on continuous fire rather than have laser "bullets", so to say. |

Yeah, I thought of having a laser, but I wasn't sure what Lothar's gun is capable of. |

Well considering Lothar's gun is NOT A LASER that would be difficult. S'not bad Pix, the movement is quite stiff and the frame rates a little choppy, but other than that it's decent. |

I forget these things. And by these, I mean many, many things. So, with this revelation (to me, at least), go with my first suggestion Pixel ;P |

Not bad there. Animation as Lothar said is a bit stiff, but still good. Plus Lothar actually looks like Lothar so thats always good news. |

To be honest I'd be more impressed if he made Lothar looking like Ron Perlman, or perhaps the Hydra fromthe Greek legend. Now that would be impressive. |

You need to copy the link location into a new browser page. It's good Pixellated. Any suggestions for improvment have already been mentioned. |

Thanks for the feedback, guys. The framerate is set at the regular 24fps, rather than the 50 used for "serious" animations. I'll see what problems arise if I change a feew things =P |

OK, new version is up. Copy+Paste the same link, and save it this time. The framerate's choppy for most of you since you're viewing it in a full-screen browser, mine slows down and chops about a bit when I play it in a browser, whether I embed it as a smaller object or not: choose "Macromedia Flash Player" from the list of programs displayed in "Open with". |

I know a fair amount of animations that still use 24fps, that and the fact its the standard really for animations, 50m seems a bit over. |

It's also true that 90% of facts are made up on the spot =P Nah, I've been taught to use 50fps in animation, gives a lot more room to work with, and makes tweens a lot smoother. *Goes back to new animation* ^_^ |

The visuals and movement are reasonably good by my standards, but it's the sound effects that bring it to life for me. |

...yeah, the second one's really not going too well. I've had a contract to build a site, and that's what I've been using Flash for since then, as well as my own webcomic, which probably won't start either. College is also getting in the way. So... here it is for you all. Should work at full speed in browsers this time: Copy and paste into a new browser. <=( But enjoy what's there ^^ |

Yes, really amusing. What are they trying to do on the last bit? I thought they wanted to toast it. |

Thanks Lothar, I appreciate it. Commissar, basic outline: East threatens the toaster, gets tricked, hilarity ensues. Lothar explains to Virus that there's no toast, so he nicks Rogue's beam sword in order to toast the bread. </end flash> Rogue comes in, snatches it back while threatening to kill Blasphemy, to which Lothar reacts with the classic "...no!". All characters look at Lothar weirdly, fade to black, exit stage left etc. Last year I took free time for granted, now it's getting less abundant >_< Edit 25/11/2008 - No, not reposting the flash, it was terrible. |
