Hi,

I originally mentioned this in another place in these forums... and while it may not be fanart or fanfic, it does go to show how much I like this webcomic, so here it is:

http://wolf-and-quill.livejournal.com/1088.html

It's a review of ExterminatusNow.

Cheers. :)

as do I.

As for me I admit some of the comics just aren't that funny.

I don't find anything humorus in them mostly because sometimes they use the names of people I have no idea who or what they are (Jeremy clarkson?)

Same thing happens to us brits on US shows/films that comment on US events, and make jokes around american sports commentators or players, etc. The simpsons for example does this quite a lot.

It's true, I couldn't think of a single thing I dislike about this webcomic.

*Shrug*

...

Actually, the only thing that I would come close to disliking would be the fillers we see from time to time, but since you have to post fillers because things beyond your control in Real Life, it's not really your fault.

Hmm.

I do find it slightly worrying if you call it a review and point no flaws.

I mean, I wouldn't give EN 10/10 and say it's perfect despite it's the best webcomic I read.

Yep, it's a necessary risk when making pop culture references. They're funny when you know the reference, but fall flat when you don't. Can't be helped, you've just gotta hope most of your audience are on the same wavelength.

And hey, the Clarkson one was funny without Lothar's line :P I wrote that script, Lothar only added the ref afterward. That's good advice when making references - include a second gag that doesn't need outside knowledge. Similar with the Aliens ref in the space station story - people found it funny even if they didn't realise the dialogue was straight outta the movie.
