^Congratulations! You spotted the bizarre WH40k reference!

I dunno either. It looks nothing like those two tanks. Unless it's all some big allusion to Australia's army being shite?

It was a reference to the M113's versatility, and how everybody just loves to upgrade and modify it.

the Marine's warhorse that's pictured is basically identical to the M113. they both are a really boxy tracked vehicle which fit's into the roles of everything from APC to Tank destroyer. plus the rough shape is very simaler.

I don't play the tabletop game, either. I just like the figurines.

I am a terror with the computer game, though.

dont worry we only badly scald the ignorent its the traitors and heretics we burn (slowly ;) )

on the actual topic coutries have been doing this with their tanks for years

WW II germany had something like six different varients of each of their Main tanks (panzer tiger King panzer and king tiger)

Most coutries have at least two or three Optional extras for thier tanks eg mine sweepeers. diferent type of main gun, difernet tracks for unusal terrian, Floaty things Et al. so the fact the aussies are doing it doesnt really suprise me
