What the hell? It's not even funny, it pretty much relies on slapstick and then tries to comment on politics, thinking "oh t3h pol1t1cal hum0ur is t3h sm4rt", yet when they try it, it mainly revolves around someone insinuating that a decision was stupid by comparing it to something else, or the basic principle that "that d3c1510n w4s t3h stup1d". Or it tries to use innuendo/ blatantly (unfunny) sexual humour, yet not blatant enough to put it past the watershed. Personally, I would have preferred American Dad to win that award, or Family Guy. Also, why is it called the "watershed"? When I was young, I always had this image of a rickety shack in a port, which took in/ let out water after 9pm . |

Well, I rather like American Dad... and Family Guy too, over The Simpsons... but The Simpsons are always going to win... It's like comparing Black Books to My Family... I love Black Books and it's much better then the other but 'people' would go for My Family... cause it's the type of crap they like. |

Have never watched "Little Britain" and by the looks of people's reactions to it, avoiding it seems to be in one's best interest if it's anything like South Park's "Terrence and Philip" comedy wise, sans the farting every 2 seconds of course. Don't really see any problem with The Simpsons winning the award for "International Show", but then again, i'm more of a cartoon humor junkie than a live-action one. That is, of course, something notable like "Scrubs" or even the long-running "Who's Line is it Anyway" is on the television. |
