Seriously people, LITTLE BRITAIN IS NOT FUNNY. Just goes to show the whole thing is nothing but a perpetual circle-jerk. Hell, Jonathan "My Show Is Actually Worth Watching" Ross lost out to some crappy 5pm show run by a former drag-queen.

Fucking hell. This just makes me cringe. The show stopped being funny by the third episode of the first season, and yet someone seems to think crude, childish toilet humour is the funniest thing on TV. Why? Who thinks this? I want to meet them.

For preference whilst holding a large blunt object.

They should bring back Black Books cause that is a funny show. It's way better than Little Britian and whatever else was there... Give Dylan Moran a load of money so he can do whatever he wants on the show and put it on the Beeb cause he can do a 30 minute show (29 mins or whatever it is) and will have no ad breaks... BBC 2 hopefully.

What did happen to Black Books? From what I can remember, it only lasted one season.

I dunno, BB's kinda reached his peak. There should be far far more of Dylan and co in da box though. Bill, along with Alan Davies and Rich Hall, are the best things about QI.

But Little Britain, though. Gack. Ptui. The first season was very watchable, but everything after is blug. How could they ditch one of their best characters (Ray McHoony, mad hotel owner) and replace him with vomiting and incontinence?

I say bring on that 3rd series of Spaced.

DON'T DISS LITTLE BRITAIN (Radio version! XD)

</stupidity>

Y'know, I found Space Cadets more enjoyable. And I spit on reality TV. Generally.

I'm with ya on this one. Little Britain is ruining British TV. The fact that BBC bases it's comedy on this rubbish is the reason why instead of getting another Only fools or Father Ted we get this crap.

Though when Dan Castellaneta came on with Matt to collect the best international comedy (yet again), and did Homer Simpson live, that was just brilliant.

I generally don't watch much TV these days. If it's not crap like Little Britain, it's yet another reality show.

Ah little Britain- yet another reason that the TV liscence should be abolished.
Personally I don't dispair of the British comedy world as I do the Worlds. There haven't been many series since Father Ted that make me laugh. But if you go back to the Eighties-The Young ones, Red Dwarf, Not the Nine o clock news.... And now what- fat gay blokes in PVc? Not funny just horrifying. Though I do have the idea role for Matt Lucas-Kirby: The movie!

Goes with the pop-culture magazines.

Sounds like the British Howard Stern on TV.

I stopped thinking HS was funny when I was thirteen. Of course, then again, many people stop maturing at age 13.

I avoided Little Britain for a long time, because the ads I'd seen looked utterly unfunny crap. But then one night I was channel hopping and it was on, so I thought I should at least validate my prejudice by watching it at least once with an open mind. So I did so. Now let me tell you, I am very quick to laugh. I enjoy laughing, I'll laugh at damn near anything. I laugh at the later seasons of The Simpsons, even though they aren't a patch on the earlier seasons. I watch bad US sitcoms on satellite TV at stupid o'clock in the morning and sit there thinking, this is pretty shitty, but hey, that was a mildly funny line, so I'll laugh along with the idiotic canned laughter anyway. But Little Britain? Not funny. Not even a little bit. There was one sketch in the whole show, at which I chuckled slightly, but I was just being generous. And I'd already guessed the punchline miles away.

Ricky Gervais isn't funny either. At least he wasn't in The Office, I've not seen Extras. But if he likes that bullshit Peep Show, then I think I can safely say that our senses of humour do not overlap a great deal.

Y'know, I hadn't really seen Spaced more than once or twice until last week. I got both series on DVD, watched em, and watched em again with commentaries. Spaced = awesome.

Ooo, someone else with taste.

I think I got a free DVD episode. So, out of interest, I watched it.

Mr. Gervais, you owe me 30 minutes of my life back.

I don't know muh of the show, as I currently suffer in the US. But my British friends tell me of the crap. It sounds fairly stupid to a point where stupid isn't funny.

At least we get the first-run of 'Scrubs'. One of the few saving graces of US television programming.

I mean of all people him..hes by far the shittest comedian in the world! he used the fact he was in 'I'm a celebrity get me outa here' to promote his stupid dvd...which is so piss poor.
