Micorsoft has a nack for screwing up their xbox's don't they? I'm pretty sure I heard something about old ones melting their gears er something because the power supply couldn't keep it cool enough. But hey, i have a nack for misinterperting things too...

That's the original run of the PS1 you're thinking of, where the power supply got so hot that it melted the laser eye rails.

Well you won't because the fire will destory the houses electrical system. And son't say you can use a petrol powered generator:

1) Bloody noisy.
2) Bloody heavy.
