Well it was fun to read, you do have a talent for writing and I hope that you continue to do so. It's a shame this is ending since the story was getting more exciting but you say that you feel you benefited from it and gained from this project which is a good thing.

Reading this makes me want to look for your other stories if there are anymore on the net. Keep us updated on how they're going and good luck to you.

But it just wasn't going anywhere. The plot read like one long run-on sentence. And yet even so, I would have finished it if the guys hadn't been adverse to my printing it for non-profit. But them turning that down was sort of the last nail.

I can't say I remember being ever consulted about that. But nevermind.
As for the plot...uhm, I don't remember half of it, and I never did read that last part. Sorry 'bout that, but it just didn't quite catch me.

I had fun with this, and I think that it made me a better writer. But now it's time for me to start working on my own projects... my own creations, and to be unhampered by the wishes of others regarding their characters.

This, I can support. Better to write for projects and characters you have control over. I mean, 'fan'fiction can work, but you either need to fully integrate the character creator into the editing process, or cut them out completely and try not to inform them. Anything inbetween doesn't really work.

Especially where the character creator has a rather specific idea of the character, and what they would or would not do. *coughmecough*

Good luck writing whatever you move onto. I look forward to seeing if it catches my interest when I'm not mentally editing as I read. ;)

Aw, darn... it's not gonna get a conclusion. T_T I'm sad to see this fic go; it was well-written and quite hilarious. But I understand your reasoning, so... hey, it was fun while it lasted. ^^V I'm glad to hear that you'll at least continue writing your own stuff.

After a year... a thread rises from the grave. In it's hands it clutches an unfinished novel. To everyone's surprise, it sits at a desk, produces a pen from it's eye socket and continues to write.

It is official. I have now taken up the task of finishing Dire Peril to the very end, due to public demand, and because I really want to know what happens next =D RedFox and I have had a talk for a bit, and it's all down to me now. No plot, no idea of how to continue, and very few ideas. It should be a barrel of laughs. I'll update the file as I write each part (no longer to be 10 parts long), and post it here. I hop u hav confiddence in mi writing scills [sic] to finish it off =)

A nice surprise, RedFox sent me the master file, and part VIII has been partly written so I'm now posting it here for you all to enjoy, as a sort of resurrection bonus. It's guaranteed to please!

By the way, I'm well aware that this latest (and last) scene bears a certain resemblence to the latest story arc... but I wrote it about a year ago, and nobody else ever saw it, so there's absolutely no correlation.

It's probably the last you'll be hearing from me on this story, but I have confidence that Pixellated will be able to finish it with aplomb. I wish him the best of luck, and I'm thoroughly grateful that this story will at last find its conclusion.

Best of luck, Pixel!

Well I always wanted to know what happened after Rogue blacked out. I'm also interested to see how the story goes when the writing style changes (no, really, different writer so it's guaranteed to happen).

I look forward to seeing it continue, good luck Pixellated.

I'm finding it hard to mix in with RedFox's style of writing, everyone's unique.

As for Rogue, I've written pretty much all of that part now. It's a bit... macabre. Don't expect to be laughing too much when you're in a scene with him in the next part.

Hey... I never read chapter 7 o.o Noticing the use of 'Glock' in said chapter: Pix, the cast page has since updated to give more accurate, less real-world descriptions of the crew's armaments. Please make note.

Jamilla's an undercover agent. The EN setting features cults. Both stories put Jamilla undercover in a cult. It's hardly an astonishing coincidence.

Reins are yours Pixel, look forward to seeing where you take it.

Thanks, I'll do a search for Glock.

This part's coming along nicely, I've got a nice slot to write in (12am to 2am). Leaves me a bit knackered though. =P

Double post, but I think it's necessary.

The next installment of Dire Peril is completed, and I have to say, I love where the story is headed. Not because I'm writing it, but because every time I spontaneously write something, it always seems to just fit. I really do hope you enjoy reading the next parts as much as I do writing them (a cliched comment, but I really do hope all do).

Very, very good update Pix. You have the style of it perfected. RedFox's and your parts seem to blend together well.

Being new as i am, i only stumbled upon this now, that said its BRILLIANT. Both RedFox and Pixalated are absolutely awe inspiring in thier ability to write (pixellated doubly so for having the courage to pick up someone elses work right where he left off).

I read it back when it was new and just now stumbled back onto it again, and my feelings still remain the same: Excellent work from both RedFox and Pixalated. I can't wait to see where the story goes from here

Part IX (9 for all you Roman haters) is completed! This story is definitely not going to be over in ten parts. Eleven, perhaps. But not ten. Writing Lothar, East and Virus' parts were especially fun =D

Once again, absolutely brilliant though, I am pretty (stress the pretty) sure Simmons is a weasle or something, he is most certainly not a fox.

Ahh, cheese and weasels. I came away from an old topic with the notion that Simmons was a fox, so I went back and changed some stuff. It'll take a while to search for 'fox' again x(

Thanks for the comments guys, always appreciated =D

Is it possible to do Fan-art for something you've written about? =P

I like how this came out. I drew Rogue without references, and compared afterwards, and it seems alright. Took about 30 mins to sketch, 1 hour to create fully.

Uh... yeah. I should be writing. >.>
