I was asked the question the other day, How long have you played a game without having a food or toilet break? I think my record is 7 hours, but I know people have said they have been much longer. So I thought I'd ask the question here.

6 hours. Grand Theft Auto, the original, on the PC.

Christ, those were the days, when you had no savepoints, only 4 guns, one shot Wasted you, and you have such brilliant moments like GOURANGA! , and none of this stupiad-arse dancing, or racing missions... Nooo.

You. A gun. And a city full of targets. Fuuun.

49 hours and 28 minutes during summer when I got vice city and our cable was dead. I ran out of pop and chips on day 2 so I didn't go hungry for long. On a plus note I beat it!

Longest time spent on an RPG was 10 hours for KOTOR on Xbox.

Longest time on any game ever?

14 hours on Halo 2 the day I bought it.

I got Disgaea in the summer holidays, and frequently clocked up 18 hrs a time. I have a total gameplay of 110hrs, the longest spent (split) on a game ever was PSO Ver.2 though, 200hrs.

Longest I've ever been at a video game nonstop would probably be about 6 or 7 hours; it was on a flight home from Washington and all I had to amuse myself was a Game Boy and a limited variety of games.

I do believe my going record is about 15 hours and 24 minutes because it was just me and my brother home for about two days so I took advantage of it.

Game played would be Final Fantasy 10

I do believe that my record is 12 and a half hours playing Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time back in 2001. I don't remember playing any for nearly that long in more recent years, but Sonic Heroes did come second with about 8 hours. ^^; I'm under the strong belief that Sonic Team wanted to test everyone's patience with Team Sonic's Mystic Mansion stage.... --;

24 hours, no joke. My Tae Kwon Do studio had a "Lock In" where once you went inside, there was no coming out until the next day. My instructor enforced it by having each attendee sign an agreement form. One of the students brought a huge TV and an N64 with GoldenEye, Super Smash Brothers, and Mario Kart 64. I survived on Mountain Dew, 8 slices of pizza, and sheer will. I literally had to physically force my eyelids to stay open and pinched myself to stay alert.

Afterwards, I had a pleasant 13 hour nap. I smelled like a goat.

Accurally Lothar, Mega Man 64 (which is a direct port from Mega Man Legends) is on N64, so check about 5 times before calling someone a fuckwit. :P, search for it at www.gamespot.com for proof.

as for the longest time and all that stuff:
I would have to say 3-6 hours of Halo 2 with 2 X-Boxes, 2 Copies of Halo 2, and 3 friends and myself. and Mega Man Anniversary Collection for over 2 hours.

The longest time I spent gaming would be about 16 hours and 22 mins. No joke. Metroid Prime would be the game I was playing. All I had during then would be a bottle of Sprite and a tuna sandwich. Despite the fact I was sick then, I stayed up the entire night. Then the next day I played another 7 hours, but my mom took the game cause I'm "addicted" to video games or anything with a screen.
