Name - Agemora
Age - 17 Gender - Female Alignment - Neutral Social Class - Street Rat Occupation - Pick-pocket/Seamstress Race - Human Weapons - Dagger: Accustomed to the intricacies of needlework, Agemora is most comfortable using daggers as protection. Appearance - Height - 5'7" Weight - 140 lbs. Build - Slender Eye Color - Amber Hair Color - Blonde Skin Color - Extremely Pale Almost everything about Agemora is muted. Her chin-length, pale hair frames an angular face and is only a shade or two darker than her skin. On a member of nobility, her complexion might be described as "porcelain" - light of hue, smooth in texture and devoid of any ruddiness. On Agemora however, the skin only enhances her current position as street rat by showcasing even the smallest amount of dirt. Bright amber eyes framed by thick, ashen lashes provide one of the few bursts of color on Agemora's body. Her long nose - usually smudged with dust - leads to a wide mouth. Her frame - perhaps a graceful one, if only she weren't always slouching - is clad in rough, sensible clothes. Dark, heavy wool breaches disappear into thick, tough boots. A large pale green tunic completes the look. Well-worn, the garments are saved from being tattered only by the time she spends lovingly mending them. Long sleeves cover her slender arms, and both the hem and sleeves of the shirt are adorned with a curious embroidery, the product of restless energy and spare time. Lean muscles bulk up Agemora's otherwise lithe frame. Almost always cold, she wears substantial clothing - maybe a warm cloak, rough gloves, etc - and might be shivering. As a street rat, Agemora has learned to be cautious and questioning when interacting with others. She moves quietly and draws as little attention to herself as possible. Because she's typically quiet, she has little problem taking in her surroundings and is quite observant. She would much rather watch a conversation take place than participate herself, and rarely begins a discussion. When she does speak, her answers tend to be either very simplistic or rather sarcastic. If continually bothered for conversation, she expects that the instigator be entertaining at the very least. She overhears quite a bit and while she generally keeps this information to herself, she is not above divulging the confidences of others if the price suits her. Agemora's hands are always moving - if she's not sewing, she will invariably be tugging on her hair, rubbing her nose, etc. She carries with her a sturdy bag of light violet cloth, containing her needles and various scraps of thread. Personality - Gauging Agemora's mood is an important task to any who wish to interact with her. Cycling - sometimes rapidly - from emotional euphoria to desperate lows (and everything in between), it is no exaggeration to call her personality bipolar. Depending on what is desired from her, it might be worthwhile to attempt to coax Agemora into either a rage or a tranquil state - although once her emotions soar, it is nearly impossible to calm her down. In a "stable" mood - neither manic nor depressed - Agemora is quiet and keeps to herself, but is not overtly hostile. She has a wry sense of humor and appreciates people who speak plainly - she has no use for fancy speech. Her sense of apathy is ever-present, and she rarely bothers with the affairs of others (unless those affairs can be gainful to her in some way, or affect her personally). Slow to heat, Agemora will nonetheless show an impressive temper if provoked - and once she reaches a state beyond mild irritation, she is very slow to calm. Empathy is not a welcome gift, and Agemora often resents the burden of reading other people's emotions. She is, as may be expected, somewhat easily influenced by the flow of the emotions surrounding her, but she'll try to hide any distress she feels. A manic Agemora is a personable Agemora - sometimes. Mania tends to fuel her creativity and fill her with good humor, and those seeking favors would be smart to approach Agemora during these times. Mania also produces some of her most unusual embroidery, as the restless compulsion to "create" forces its hand. During these high emotional states, Agemora is more likely to act impulsively than usual and develops an air of charisma. Her smile, normally elusive, flashes anyone around, and if she is especially inspired, a laugh might be heard. On rare occasions, however, the burst of emotion might boost her instinctive suspicion into full-on paranoia rather than incite good behavior. A depressed Agemora is rather dangerous. Her typical indifference about the well-fare of others is increased, as is her apathy towards her own well-being. While she would normally balk at such offers, in a depressed state Agemora is likely to accept dubious job offers or nefarious suggestions. She is highly susceptible to suggestion and typically hides away during these periods. Aside from picking pockets, Agemora makes her money by sewing. She can rarely afford to actually purchase cloth and thread, however, so she steals scraps of whatever she can get her hands on. She is quite proficient in making sturdy sacks, unique embroidery, and mending rips and tears. This ability might earn her a slight respect in the community if she weren't so skittish. History - Agemora has limited memory before the age of seven. While some of her ingrained reactions - surprisingly adept table manners, for example, as well as her ability to sew - suggest a privileged background, Agemora only clearly remembers her life on the street. She has not completely given up the hope for something better, but has instead banished that hope somewhere beyond her conscious mind. (I know! This history sucks. I promise, I will build upon it and make it less sucktastic.) Other Agemora is unable to read or write, and it irritates her when others lord their knowledge over her. She sometimes uses her gift of illusion to conjure up images that amuse her - animals in particular soothe her tempers. When particularly agitated, she conjures up a very small ice ball and tosses it back and forth between her hands. Her sewing skills are well-known, and she mends clothing for extra money. She will sometimes mend for free, depending entirely on her view of the person in question. Commissions for a particular piece of clothing, type of embroidery, or style of bag are welcome - however, you might have to supply the material. First Five Abilities
