| Welcome to Elenlond, an original medieval fantasy forum! We're always looking for new, dedicated members. Elenlond is composed of two continents: Soare and Esiria. Esiria, a land now isolated due to the efforts of the last remaining Goddess, is inaccessible to all beings and lies in the east. Soare, a continent in the west, is composed of three distinct nations: Ashoka, Soto, and Morrim. Lying between the two major continents are the Scattered Isles. Since the dissolution of the pantheon and the fall of the gods, these countries have existed in relative peace and prosperity. But how long will that peace last? Name: Adamon Age: 16 Gender: Male Alignment: Chaotic Neutral Social Class: Street Rat/Mage Occupation: Fighter Race: Human Weapons: Adamon's Gauntlets: Made of metal and black studded leather these gauntlets completely cover the fingers and reach several inches past the wrist but still allow for complete mobility of the hand and arm. The owner of these gauntlets is rarely found without them due to their unique magical properties. Leather Gloves: When training Adamon can be found wearing much simpler leather gloves as compared to his gauntlets. Made of sturdy black leather these gloves are fingerless and stop directly at the wrist, a basic weapon for any brawler. Small Knife: A survival tool, used to clean fish, skin small animals and the like, rarely used as an actual weapon, especially while Adamon still has his fists. Physical Appearance: Adamon stands six feet in height, weighing around two-hundred pounds, his build most comparable to that of a cruiserweight boxer. He has short unkept brown hair and brown eyes. His face yet handsome reflects the hardship he has faced so far in his life, allowing him to command respect, and look near twice his age. Adamon wears simple clothing, short pants that stop about mid calf, leather boots, and a tunic and belt. Personality: Hard to get to know, and even harder to befriend. Adamon has closed out much of the world most likely due to his unfortunate past. He takes a very aggressive tone with his voice and choice of words, at some times it may seem playful and others it could feel like pure hatred. Beyond that first line of defense is someone very kind and protective to those he sees as worthwhile. Not to be fooled he is out there for himself almost to try and get back at the world, and is more than willing to take a leadership role, if one presents itself and if it allows him to follow through with his own agenda. History: Adamon's history is very much a blur at many moments and is something that he works through every day to understand. From being orphaned at a very young age without knowledge of his parents being mages, to the time he spent in Eldahar's underground prison as a prisoner after being thrown in there after Andromalius' conquest on Ashoka, to now with his struggle to unravel his new found gift of magic, Adamon has had a very hard life and that is the main thing that has shaped him for better or for worse. To this very day Adamon tries to make sense of it all by studying the only memento left to him by his parents, his gauntlets, and by recounting his misadventures by way of writing a journal. Abilities: Simple Abilities: Dire Casting: As a physical or mental reflex to a dire situation such as an injury or exhaustion, Adamon is able to instantly cast a known simple spell to help turn the tides of battle. Fireball: allows the caster to create a fireball and shoot it from their hand. Teleportation: allows the caster to teleport a short distance away(no more than a mile). Hand to Hand Combat: Adamon has picked up the basic tecniques, strategies, and has an affinity toward fighting with his fists and body and prefers it to any other weapon, including magic. Fire Gauntlets[Enchantment]: A weak aura of fire is given off by Adamon's gauntlets. Though not hot enough to cause serious burns, it will leave a good mark on unprotected flesh.
