Elenlond is composed of two continents: Soare and Esiria. Esiria, a land now isolated due to the efforts of the last remaining Goddess, is inaccessible to all beings and lies in the east. Soare, a continent in the west, is composed of three distinct nations: Ashoka, Soto, and Morrim. Lying between the two major continents are the Scattered Isles. Since the dissolution of the pantheon and the fall of the gods, these countries have existed in relative peace and prosperity.

But how long will that peace last?

The dreaded activity check. This time around things are a little bit different, meaning that I'm going require a little more effort on your guys' part (trust me, it's not as bad as it sounds). So, let's just get this over with and do the usual, before I get down to forum updates and the like. First off, account deletions. These are the contingencies that determine whether or not an account, with or without the activity check, will be deleted: Accounts that have less than 10 posts will be deleted unless: a) the member has logged into that account within a month of the day I do the deletions (ie. if they're done on November 13, accounts will be left alone between then and October 13); or b) a member has declared it active. If the account has more than 10 posts, but is inactive, it will be moved to the Inactive group. During this activity check I would ask that you do the following: First, post here. Second, declare all accounts in that post that are yours that you wish to keep. If you want them deleted, or are planning to have that character replaced, let me know please. If you don't, the account may be deleted. Lastly, make at least one IC post with at least one of your characters. One post, any character. This is the new stipulation, but it's a fairly easy one to fulfill. Post the link to this thread, so that the staff can see it. Journal posts, letters, and the like count (those in the character section of the forum), but OOC creative writing, in the Muse Cafe, do not. If, for some reason, you can't fulfill the requirements of the last bullet mentioned above, either point me in the direction of your absence, IM me, PM me - get into contact with me any way you can, and let me know. Inability to post due to an invalid absence (you didn't post one or you didn't talk to me about it) will result in a member's characters - all of them - being declared inactive, and those with fewer than 10 posts being deleted. It is preferred that both requirements be fulfilled. The activity check will run from Monday, October 26 until Monday, November 16. General News I know it's been a while since the forum's seen any real updates, but that's largely due to there being really no need to make them. However, I have a few announcements, some of which should hopefully please you guys. New layout. Either sometime towards the end of November, or sometime in December, Elly will be seeing a new, dark layout. I know you some of you have been itching for something new. The Garden of Everything (the current layout) will still be available for those of you who want to continue using it. Plot advancements. Bright Opposition recruitment threads should be starting up soon, as I have a bit of time to create them. Expect PMs to arrive within your inboxes, for those of you who have signed up for it. For anyone who wants to, check it out here. Forum maintenance. You'll notice a general clean-up of the forum in the coming weeks, which should hopefully cut down on some of the clutter. Esiria Rising. A small group of us are hoping to work with Evona on Esiria, to try to get it up and running. With luck, things will go smoothly. I've closed the original sign-up thread for the time being; I would suggest everyone sets their undivided sight on the current Dark Conquest plot. I think, for now, that's it. Also, as if I haven't said this enough, please remember to vote!

Currently, I'm active in Morrim's Loniar Swamp in a thread titled Fate Brought Us... with my character Raenie. I'd post there now, but I'm the one who posted last. And as a note, please don't delete Beginning of the End or One Last Dance. I want to continue the threads I'm just waiting on posts before I can post as Gambit again. I might just make another rp... Judas is playing a later part in the Soto plot, so he still won't be too active for a week or so. Roan is patiently waiting for something to happen with Esiria (or not, I need to talk to Evona obviously). Waiting on Guess for Gallica to post. The other two are definitely staying. Otherwise, the plot holes would be epic. =P

Yume, and Kahil (whos name i couldnt remember till i got to the end of this post) should both be deleted as they didn't get very far and dont do a hell of a lot and i dont have the time or energy to even think about trying to bring them back. I really need to NOT make characters whenever school isnt in session.
