| Welcome to Elenlond, an original medieval fantasy forum! We're always looking for new, dedicated members. Elenlond is composed of two continents: Soare and Esiria. Esiria, a land now isolated due to the efforts of the last remaining Goddess, is inaccessible to all beings and lies in the east. Soare, a continent in the west, is composed of three distinct nations: Ashoka, Soto, and Morrim. Lying between the two major continents are the Scattered Isles. Since the dissolution of the pantheon and the fall of the gods, these countries have existed in relative peace and prosperity. But how long will that peace last? Scarlet hopped off her broom, which remained floating in the air, and stomped toward the newly transformed toad. "What's the matter with everyone?!" she exclaimed glaring at the rather old toad. "I turned you into a toad." Run around! Panic!" she sighed and slouched "My choice of transforming targets has definitely gone south lately" she muttered. "Oh well!" she said shrugging exaggeratively. She immediately shoved her hand into her pocket, and wrestled out a brown sack. Her notorious toad catching sack. If he didn't fear her now, the old toad would fear her later. "Well considering that you are a toad with a beard, I'm not sure anyone would want to eat you...since I have never seen a toad with a beard." She threw the sack over her head and in one swipe caught the toad within the sack. "However I will find something to do with you, and you won't like it. I'm sure" she lifted the sack gently and placed it over her shoulder, due to experience from the last toad who dared to talk back to her. She looked over at the bewildered young man and shrugged as she hopped onto her room. She flicked her hand and an explosion of colourful sparkles erupted in front of her as she took off into the air. "Oh ho ho ho ho!" she exclaimed as she took flight. |

Rana stared in surprise and confusion. Even when the old man had been attacked and turned into a frog, he he kept talking. Rana's shadows vanished and he watched with even more surprise, almost gawking, as the witch snatched up the toad in a bag and began to lift off. |

"Too old to panic." Agnar said, almost shrugging. "But....Ohh noooooo! Not teh bag! anything but duh bag!! Gaaahhh!!!" He shouted as he was picked up and shoved him into the bag. She then put it ever so gently over her shoulder. He felt movement as if he was taking off. He hopped up from the bottom of the bag and tried to get his head out only to find that it was tightened. He could not really squeeze his head through. "Um...ma'am....would ja mind loosening this. Tis a bit dark and what not." Agnar said rather casually. "I'd like to enjoy the view too." |

Scarlet glared at the sack, she did not like the fact that her prisoners always kept on talking to her. Pulling the drawstring slightly so that the toad could stick his head out. She wasn't too worried about him hopping away, unless he intended to fall a great distance onto the ground where his tiny toad bones would snap like insignificant twigs. It was no skin off her nose really. Unless he was like Tekun, though Tekun was cool despite being an immortal warrior who could destroy her and a whole bunch of people without a second thought. "You wouldn't happen to be an immortal warrior of some kind with bounty hunters ready to kill and or rape you and anyone near you?" she had to ask. Her latest philosophy lately was for her to be safe rather than sorry. |

Agnar stuck his head through the little hole that Scarlet had made for him. "Thank you and good gosh! That has to be the most obsurd thing I have ever heard in my life! Immortal...um....maybe....hard to tell....nobodeh in meh race has evah died due teh natural causes. But no...i'm no warrior." Aganr said rather disapointedly towards the end. "I am however an illussionist. Very powerful one at that. I'm very skilled in those arts. Could send you plumeting to your death at any moment I wish. Wouldn't do that though, you're rather cute, and I find being a toad interesting. So i'll stay with ya fer a little bit. Sound good?" |

Scarlet cursed her luck, she had managed to snag a powerful mage. First an immortal warrior then an illusionist, it was like she had casted a long lasting hex upon herself, everything just seemed to go against her. She pulled up slightly the handle of the wooden broom, bringing them to an abrupt stop in mid air, hovering high above the trees. The wind blowing violently around them. She turned to stare at the toad straight in his little bulging eyeballs. "Listen here toady" she said in a no nonsense tone. "You may have been an illusionist, but I'm a witch. Nobody messes with witches unmarred. You sure your old bones can handle it? Huh?!" Scarlet sincerely hoped that the toad would wish to leave, hopping merrily on his way leaving her to find a better more vulnerable victim. |

A scarlet rose began to materialize infront of Scarlet as she looked back at the bearded toad. It smelled just as perfect as it seemed to look. If Agnar could smile, he would have, but even then, it would have been hidden. "Shame it isn't a real one." He chuckled. "I think me 300 year old bones can handle et. I could leave at any moment I want. Make you turn me back, but I dun want that. I wanna be a bit of.....hm....a fimiliar. Yea! That would be fun wouldn't it." The rose in front of him then vanished, but the smell remained. It was rather pleseant. "Why so sour though?" |

The attractive smell of the rose invaded her nostrils, it had a lulling quality to it, to she sighed, slouching slightly. Scarlet's eyes widened and she sat up taller waving her hands around herself wildly attempting to fan away the scent. "Hey, hey, hey....I call the hocus pocus shots around here." she said indignantly. She pulled the broom into a steep decent flying around, over, and under branches as she flew through the canopy of trees, landing a few feet off the ground. She hopped off the broom and set her toad bag on the ground. "What kind of witch would I be if I had a toad as my familiar?" she asked with her hands on her hips. "You know they usually have cats right? And you good sir are no cat you're a toad....A toad with a beard...That's not normal" She nodded her head as if agreeing with herself and crossed her arms staring down at the toad. |

Suddenly Agnar appeared to go invisible, disguised by an illussion and a cat appeared where he was, a black one. "Tis a start, but witches have been known to use other animals, owls, toads, rats, cats......rhinos.....once." Agnar said. "Come on!! I'll even shave meh Dwelf beard fer ya. Doubt it'll grow back in this form. It'll be fun! That or i'll have teh make you agree. You don't want me to make you agree, do yee?" Agnar could only imagine how horrid it would be to phantasmal killer someone, he was still working a few things out with it. Perhaps he'd use the hidious laughter spell again. |

"Fine!" exclaimed Scarlet throwing her hands back dramatically while leaving a trail of sparkles in her wake. "Though I must say, you're really good with those illusions of yours." She stroked her chin in deep thought, it would be rather handy to have a familiar of her own, especially one that was an old accomplished illusionist. He also didn't seem like he was going to let go of her any time soon. Scarlet felt slightly uneasy to be travelling with an elderly person. She coldly recalled the last time she had been taken in by an elderly person, Hazel, the witch, who had tried to cook her. An aura of scarlet flames began to flicker faintly around her body, she had taken care of Hazel, and if that toad tried anything, she'd incinerate him, slowly. She would make him suffer slowly until he died, she would not be double crossed again. "Alright" she said cheerfully, her mood completely changed to a happier one, and the flames dissipated. "I'll keep you as my familiar toad with a beard. Cats are overrated, and the beard makes you better than a normal toad. Alright?" |

"Sound good to me. You may call me Aggy" Agnar exclaimed jollily. "And what may I call you? If you say master, I will send you into fit of laughter." He warned and the hopped onto his hind legs, but fell foward realizing he could not stand. "You know, remind me to make a spell that allows me to stand as a toad. It would be awefully handy Hyuck hyuck hyuck...awwwww..that would be a waste of a spell and time too." he chuckled. She seemed reluctent to let him come along, perhaps she had a bad experience with a toad once. Maybe this immortal she mentioned. It didn't matter, so long she let him come along. He needed an apprentice anyway. |

Scarlet raised her right eyebrow, this toad was rather amusing so far, annoyingly clingy, but amusing. She squatted down in front of the toad who introduced himself as Aggy, "I am Scarlet, Scarlet the witch" she stuck out two of her fingers in offer to shake....hands, paws, webbed fingers? She wasn't really sure, though this now meant she officially had a familiar. It didn't feel all that different, she stared at the toad expectantly, as if something were supposed to happen. |

Agnar closed his eyes and extended his webbed hand and shook Scarlet's two fingers happily. "Tis a glorious day! You have a fimiliar and now I have an apprentice!! Hooray!" Agnar exclaimed at the top of his toad lungs. "We will have such fun together! I just know it!" Agnar was going to look foward to tutoring someone, especially as a toad. It would be a new and exciting experience for him, though extremely odd to some. |
