| Welcome to Elenlond, an original medieval fantasy forum! We're always looking for new, dedicated members. Elenlond is composed of two continents: Soare and Esiria. Esiria, a land now isolated due to the efforts of the last remaining Goddess, is inaccessible to all beings and lies in the east. Soare, a continent in the west, is composed of three distinct nations: Ashoka, Soto, and Morrim. Lying between the two major continents are the Scattered Isles. Since the dissolution of the pantheon and the fall of the gods, these countries have existed in relative peace and prosperity. But how long will that peace last? Timeline Act I – A road they call “Discovery” As most of this was RP’ed elsewhere, I’ve made some slight modifications and kept it rather brief. • Cameron is born to Elmond and Addison Elecott, Nobles from Ashoka • 10 years old, Cameron displays magical aptitude and is sent to an expensive school for particularly skilled, noble mages known as the "Academy of High Wizardry". • 22 years old, Whispers from the Past * • 22 years old, Cameron graduates top of his class a year earlier than most of the other students and elects to remain at the school to further his studies. • 23 years old, Cameron returns home with several high honors and with an official title as a “High Wizard”. • 25 years old, So this one time... In Soto... * • 26 years old, confidence gets the better of Cameron and he begins sleeping with other men’s wives and girlfriends. • 32 years old, Sylvester Wyrmtongue confronts and curses Cameron to a magicless immortality in the body of a ferret. • 40 years old, after years of wandering the streets as a scavenger Cameron is captured by a Daemon as a trinket after being heard talking aloud. • 62 years old, Cameron discovers a way to force himself back into a man form for very short periods, however the process is extremely painful both during the transformations and while in his human form due to the nature of the curse. • 95 years old, Cameron is found by Meleanna after killing the daemon which currently held him captive. • 96 years old, Cameron reveals the nature of his curse and his history to Meleanna, changing the nature of their relationship drastically and setting them on a quest to reverse it. • 97 years old, a rare magic box is uncovered which releases Cam from part of his bonds, facilitating his ability to retain his man form throughout the night without the normal pain transformation, no matter how brief, normally causes. The box also reveals the existence of several map fragments which lead to an anti-enchantment strong enough to completely remove the curse.
