Welcome to Elenlond, an original medieval fantasy forum! We're always looking for new, dedicated members.

Elenlond is composed of two continents: Soare and Esiria. Esiria, a land now isolated due to the efforts of the last remaining Goddess, is inaccessible to all beings and lies in the east. Soare, a continent in the west, is composed of three distinct nations: Ashoka, Soto, and Morrim. Lying between the two major continents are the Scattered Isles. Since the dissolution of the pantheon and the fall of the gods, these countries have existed in relative peace and prosperity.

But how long will that peace last?

Note:~
Because of Cameron's curse, all the items he wears or keeps on him at the time when light hits him are consumed (temporarily) by the effects as well, until he returns to his human shape again at night. It is surmised this was so that no one would be able to tell a human man had gone missing in order to further damage Cam's ego/pride. The only way to disconnect items from the loop he is stuck in is if someone new is either the last to touch the object in question, or if the item(s) are too great a distance away from him.

~Attire~

Robes: (example)
At first glance it would be easy to mistake Cameron’s robes for some intricate garment of interwoven cloth, but upon closer inspection it can be quickly seen that the robes merely give off an illusion of complexity in the myriad of subtle shades that blend seamlessly together to make the garments natural dark blue color. Another trick to the eye are thin black lines carefully stenciled in delicate patterns to give the appearance of seams where the cloth was sewn together, but should one look closely it can be found that there are no seams at all, as though the robe was somehow conjured instead of made.

Unlike traditional bulky wizards robes Cameron’s are more form fitting with a high collar but no hood, having been made loose enough to fit over his other articles of clothing and to provide a full range of motion while still being tight enough to show off his slim form. The robes are again different in that the solid cloth doesn’t run far below his waist, slits having been made down the side along either hip to allow for easier mobility should running ever be necessary.

The robes are always clinched at the waist by a black silk belt with bright silver runes worked all along the material. If seen alone it may appear a rather mismatched accessory, but when worn with the robes there is no doubt both pieces were made by the same crafter with the sole intent of being worn together.

Shirt: (example)
Cameron’s shirt is made of tightly woven cotton that one would expect to be worn when planning on a long journey. The collar is formless and thus barely more than a somewhat decorated neck hole, fitted wide in conjunction with the open V neckline that can be opened to expose a decent amount of chest or closed with a few loose ties. The sleeves are long though held back from covering the hands by cuffs which have had an elastic material sewn into them. -- His shirt is almost always worn tucked in.

Pants: (example)
Unlike the other more colorful aspects of his attire, Cameron’s pants are made of fitted doeskin leather which have been dyed a dark raven-black through the process of treating them for additional water-resistant properties. The pants appear to be well made if a bit worn, and are almost always paired with a black leather belt of similar make.

Boots: (example)
Black leather boots which were obviously designed for the sole intent of travel by the strength of their construction. Unlike other boots of similar make, it would take only one look to notice that Cameron’s boots fit him too well to be simple off-the-shelf constructs and that they were more like custom made to order. However the boots no longer have that “new” look, and rather appear somewhat road worn.

~Weapons~

CHRYSAOR: (example)
An old wizard’s staff which seems to be made of elder-tree wood with runes carved in a spiral pattern along the outside. Atop the staff there is a large, clear crystal.

Simple Elvish Knife: (example)
A somewhat unremarkable blade except for the fact that it appears to be of extremely fine elvish craftsmanship to the trained eye. It appears to have seen little to no combat, though its edge is kept keen to do everything and anything necessary when on the road.

~Armour~

Leather Jerkin: (example)
At first glance it can be immediately determined that this dark-brown leather jerkin is extremely well made, cut thick in order to provide the best possible defence for its wearer. Ties along the sides allow the jerkin to be adjusted to best fit its wearer, while metal buckles allow it to be opened or closed tight.

~Animal Companions~

At present Cam keeps no animal companions or pets, in part due to his curse.

~Miscellaneous~

Travel Pack:
A small backpack designed out of water-resistant leather with numerous pouches and pockets to hold whatever one may need while on the road.

Travel Utensils:
A single set of utensils which were designed to be long and thin while still being strong enough for prolonged use. They can be neatly packed away in a tin box, and there is nothing out of the ordinary about them.

Small Tent:
A small tent made to accommodate either one person alone, or two people pressed close together. It is made from water resistant animal hides and several thin collapsible metal beams. It is a relatively crude design, most likely picked up in your average market, but serves its purpose well. When the tent is completely folded down it can fit neatly inside the travel pack, though the metal rods must be collapsed and tied to the bags side.

Fur Blanket:
A thick fur blanket that is large enough to comfortably encompass two people. The dense brown fur the blanket is made out of suggests it may have been made from a bear, though the somewhat worn appearance suggests that it’s been well used over its journeys.

Compass:
A basic compass protected by a simple bronze case. It appears to be an item one could pick up at any normal market.

Canteen:
A 2-litre metal canteen with a small metal loop attached to the side so that it can be tied to a belt or pack.

Assorted Charts and Maps:
Various rolled or folded maps and charts, some of which are intricately drawn by master map-makers and some of which are apparently drawn free-hand by someone who is, at best, adept.

Camping Pot:
A simple cast iron pot often carried by those who expect to spend a night or more in the woods. The end of the handle has a small hole in it so that it can be tied to a backpack.
