CLOTHES
WEAPONS
- Lance
- A true dragonrider's weapon, Nemo's lance is strapped to the right side of her saddle. Its staff is solid, made of metal painted black, capped on either end by a silver band. The blade itself is comprised of steel, intricately designed with a lethal jagged edge. Most often, she only uses this weapon when riding dragonback; only carrying it with her on the ground when a matter might require it.
- Dagger
- Always strapped to Nemo's belt, contained within its protective sheath, is her dagger, a simple weapon of no attractive quality. Given to her by her father specifically for her own protection, it has a sentimental quality, but is otherwise her primary weapon should trouble ever befall. She never goes anywhere without it intentionally, taught always to be prepared for anything, even to shed blood.
COMPANIONS
- Fang - dragon
- Seldom far from Nemo is her faithful mount Fang, a grey dragon standing fifteen feet tall at the shoulder, and by no means a small beast. His tough scaley hide is of a dull grey, like unpolished steel, and his softer underbelly is a lighter, cloud grey hue. Two great ivory horns protrude from his skull, fin-like ears extended out beneath them. Formerly a war dragon, he has seen his fair share of battle, and has the scars to prove it. Most notable is the one across his left eye, a great pink gash that has healed completely over, rendering him half-blind. The fin-ear on the same side is torn, and his wings at the edges are quite tattered. This does little to hinder his flight capability, as Fang has two massive wings that are somewhere between being broad and being narrow- but leaning more on the broad side, giving him greater maneuverability over speed.
A worn and old dragon, Fang is a patient creature, and well-trained. He was given to Nemo as a form of retirement, but has found little rest in the woman's care. However aged and crippled, there is still quite a bit of fight left in Fang, but it remains so that every battle fought could very well be his last.
MISCELLANEOUS
- Dragon Saddle
- Nemo's saddle is quite large, and equally heavy. Sitting perched atop a dragon's shoulders would be the sturdy leather seat, with excess leather flaps draping down on either side. Three metal pegs protrude from both flaps at about where one's foot would be, as one must have one peg above and one below their foot at all times, for the sake of holding on while in flight. The third peg acts a step during mounting and dismounting, giving the rider something to grab or put their foot on as they scale their dragon's great height to reach the saddle. Where the horn would be on a horse's saddle is a curved metal bar across the front; a handle for the rider to grab onto. Two straps on the right side are designed to hold a lance within reach of the rider, and is precisely where Nemo keeps her own lance tied. Situated behind where her legs would go are two saddlebags, one large bag on either side of the saddle. It is in these that Nemo keeps most of her belongings since she left her home in Ashoka. In the back is fastened a metal ring meant for having other items tied to it, serving whatever purpose that may arise.
- Egg
- Nestled in blankets in the bag on her saddle's right-hand side is a large oval egg. The granite-colored outer shell is hard, but not resistant to cracking. Believing it to be a dragon egg, Nemo snuck it from a feral's nest with the intention of raising and taming her own dragon mount, growing tired of the limitations of the aged and blinded Fang.
