| Welcome to Elenlond, an original medieval fantasy forum! We're always looking for new, dedicated members. Elenlond is composed of two continents: Soare and Esiria. Esiria, a land now isolated due to the efforts of the last remaining Goddess, is inaccessible to all beings and lies in the east. Soare, a continent in the west, is composed of three distinct nations: Ashoka, Soto, and Morrim. Lying between the two major continents are the Scattered Isles. Since the dissolution of the pantheon and the fall of the gods, these countries have existed in relative peace and prosperity. But how long will that peace last? Simple Deadly shot Three of Mjor's four knives can be thrown, and when they are he displays an above average level of accuracy with them. He may apply this skill to other objects, not just his throwing knives. |

Resistance Mjor's mother was a mighty, wise and powerful magic user, and although Mjor refuses to use magic, there is plenty of skill in his blood left untapped. This does however, have some effect, although he cannot use any magic, it has left him with a high resistance to it. Any magic which affects Mjor will have its effect partly reduced, a simple spell will be about two thirds less effective, whilst intermediate spells will suffer a minor reduction, and advanced spells will not be noticably affected. Anyone who is physically touching Mjor (his actual skin, not just his clothing) will also slightly benefit from this (50% of Mjor's resistance) although it does not last at all after contact is broken. Mjor is not aware of this ability. |

New abilities- Intermediate Line in the Sand A side product of the Glaive Master ability, Line in the Sand allows Mjor to enter a defensive position, using his weapons length and his skill with it to keep oppoenents away. Whilst he is doing this, he may not move from the spot he is standing (he may turn, move from foot to foot and make sidesteps to dodge and similar freely, but he may not, for example, use this and charge, or chase someone). Providing he stays still, his defensive abilities (blocking and dodging) rise by 75%, whilst his strength is increased by 25%. He cannot charge next to somebody, and then activate this, which would effectivly allow him to move with it. |

Ah, you get two intermediate abilities at 50... New ability- Intermediate Improved Resistance- As Mjor grows more powerful, the untapped magical potential within him also grows, resulting in a greater resistance to magic. It is worth noting he never stops spells happening, the effect of them is just reduced, so for example what would be a very damaging attack, would only cause half as much damage. At this level, the effect of intermediate spells is reduced by approxamatly 50%, depending on the skill of the caster. There is no further bonus for his resistance so simple spells, which still use the standard Resistance ability. To add a little repetitive clarification, it reduces the effect, not stops the spell, for example a second degree burn causing spell might only cause first degree burn, a spell that (weirdly) makes him loose two finers would make him loose one etc |
