| Welcome to Elenlond, an original medieval fantasy forum! We're always looking for new, dedicated members. Elenlond is composed of two continents: Soare and Esiria. Esiria, a land now isolated due to the efforts of the last remaining Goddess, is inaccessible to all beings and lies in the east. Soare, a continent in the west, is composed of three distinct nations: Ashoka, Soto, and Morrim. Lying between the two major continents are the Scattered Isles. Since the dissolution of the pantheon and the fall of the gods, these countries have existed in relative peace and prosperity. But how long will that peace last? Enter Elenlond; Turn the pages and tell your own tale. If you're already a member please log in to your account to access all of our features: |

There were times when Shien-Zen would be raging mad, and other times where he would be calm and collected. And then, there were the few times where Shien-Zen would be a little, distraught, maybe even depressed. Who wouldn't be, though, when you have a father who seems to hate you, and nothing more? When you just beat up one of your only friends..it was sad, very sad for the poor angel. He was not in the mood for fighting, nor in the mood for arguing, he was in a very ill mood. A few people walked past him, and he hid his face. He refused to let anyone see him like this..his pride would not allow it. What would happen if the people saw him to be weak? One of them might try to take advantage of him..possibly try to kill him, at least, that's how he felt. He ran from them, not even having the energy to fly, deep into a forest. He was mentally broken. The deeper he got into the forest, the weaker he felt his legs get under him. He felt himself fall to his hands and knees. He couldn't take this anymore, not knowing what the right thing to do was! His father told him one thing, but he felt to do something else..and if his father found out, he would be punished..possibly with death. "..W-what..am I..to do?" |

"Listen, and consider." The voice boomed like some hybrid between brass and oboe, reverberating and flowing, deep and gripping. The voice came above Shien-Zen, where a dark and imposing woman stared him down with tiger-like eyes, standing there like she had always been there, like she had been waiting for him to come. Her expression was one without pity for the angel in his moment of distress, carrying only the demeanor of the hawk that jutted out from those cold-cut features. Her body was just as evenly cut, one that held itself with an easy grace and towering strength, that seemed as if it could snap out in a pinprick second. She was the embodiment of terrible beauty. "Child of sky, be still. Why are you so bound to the one you call father? Your heart has complaint against him, and your soul itself bends itself to breaking by trying to shape to his will. Both mind and body struggle against the hold he has on you, yet you prostrate yourself for a man who wields you in ways no self-respecting swordsman would dare." The woman's voice began to rise in intensity. "Why do you do this? Why do you allow it? Answer me, Shien-Zen!" The last words held a thread of authority akin to compulsion, yet, there was no magic in them. Yumalinous felt as one possessed, as if the words she spoke were not her own. She was no predator, yet her body moved and spoke as one of the great cats, and she felt an echo of The forces that had brought her had seemed magnetic, drawing her in on thick cords of fate that she could not ignore. What was to transpire was not just one possibility: it was what had to happen. There was magic here from Yu and Kos, and the strange touch of the God's hand that made her unable to resist. For these events, the doe was but vessel and witness. Evona had come into her. |
