Welcome to Elenlond, an original medieval fantasy forum! We're always looking for new, dedicated members.

Elenlond is composed of two continents: Soare and Esiria. Esiria, a land now isolated due to the efforts of the last remaining Goddess, is inaccessible to all beings and lies in the east. Soare, a continent in the west, is composed of three distinct nations: Ashoka, Soto, and Morrim. Lying between the two major continents are the Scattered Isles. Since the dissolution of the pantheon and the fall of the gods, these countries have existed in relative peace and prosperity.

But how long will that peace last?

Kaden

Kaden woke up from his sleep in an area of the Erth'netora Forest where the trees were especially thick and were able to block the sunlight enough so he could have no fear. It wasn't quite nighttime yet, which Kaden saw as he cautiously walked to a less shaded area to look at the sky. The sun was below the horizon, but the the sky was still red in the distance. Red... The color of blood, of pain. It was Kaden's favorite color. There was always so much red when he got done with a victim.

Like that family he'd killed in Zedrin before he decided on a whim to fly out here again. It had been glorious, enough blood for two adult humans, then a ten year old, and then even an apparently newborn baby, going through the air as he ripped them all apart using his knives and his speed. Then he'd licked the blood off of the floors, walls, and ceiling, before draining what little was left from the pieces and then throwing them in the corner with the bones.

Kaden broke from his fond nostalgia of that gloriously bloody moment just a couple of nights ago. He spread his huge, immaterial wings and flew into the air. Then, he noticed a hill nearby, with a waterfall. He flew in that direction, and stopped at the very top. He sat at the edge of the water, feeling the water rush by, and watching as the sky very slowly drained of the last bit of red it had... Just like he drained the blood of his victims, though he did it oh so much faster.

Kaden had come up to the top of the falls on a whim, for no real reason whatsoever. He was thinking about something... Wouldn't it be absolutely glorious if the falls had been from a river of blood? He shivered in delight at the thought. He started thinking about if he could make it so, find where the river came from and kill huge numbers of victims, so much that the river would permanently be tainted with the glorious blood... Yes, Kaden was insane. He knew that everyone thought that of him before he killed them, he loved it.

Sandra stepped out of the forest silently sniffing the air. He was close, she could smell him. She looked around the clearing with hungry eyes. Her very being was around the man who had turned her. Leaving her alive to deal with herself. Valerie was shouting in the back of her mind and Sandra mentally punched her and she shut up. This was between her and him, and she would not let Valerie get in the way.

Glaring around the clearing she took another deep breath as a breeze stirred the air. Looking up she grinned. There he was. She stepped out into the open and stood in the middle of the clearing. She could almost taste the flesh of the other Vampire monster beneath her teeth already. She stared up at him, standing straight and tall. He would not get away alive from this. She would pull him apart and burn him if she had to. But he would not live. She stepped forward again her eyes locked on the silhouette that was Kaden. He was the monster that had turned her, made the existence of Sandra in the first place.

She had some unfinished business with him, for he had killed Valerie's family, and left her to die, only instead he had turned her. Sandra had been the slumbering monster that only flashed itself out periodically if there was someone nearby that she wanted to kill. Usually Valerie beat her back...but now it was Sandra's turn. Val was sitting useless in the back trying to mend her broken spirit. If Vampires had spirits anyway. She laughed darkly and kept her eyes trained to Kaden. She didn't say a word, but when the wind changed she knew he would smell her.

Her hair blew into her face, and every creature for miles smelt the smell of two Vampire creatures. For was Kaden really a Vampire? She never knew. But she would kill him today. He would DIE TODAY! He had stuck Sandra in this pathetic little weasel's mind. She was stuck in the back, always being pushed farther and farther. She would kill him for that, and then she would keep Val in the back, to show her what it felt like. She laughed darkly again and smiled up at Kaden her fangs flashing in the dark.

Kaden

Kaden had already smelled Valerie. He just hadn't reacted at first. After several seconds, Kaden slowly turned his head toward her, "Hello there. You know, I remember you." A smirk appeared on his face as he spoke, and the wind carried his words toward her. "You're the only being so far that I have turned into a vampire. All the others were ripped apart." His cocky grin didn't disappear.

Kaden slowly got up, and stood at the edge of the waterfall. He looked down toward her. "I suppose you will want to kill me now? For ripping apart everything you knew." His grin widened, now looking truly insane, as he was. "Good luck. You'll need it!" Kaden made his eerie wings grow to full size again. Then, they began glowing at full power. The blood red light covered everything within ten feet. Kaden's insane grin widened yet further, as he drew both of his knives, and held them above his head, crossing them in an X. He looked down on her, as if challenging her to try and come up to get him!

Sandra stared up at him as he transformed. She found it amusing that he needed to look tough to act tough. She let out a soft laugh looking up at him. The breeze stirred her wild looking hair as she looked up at him. She laughed softly. "You really think that you scare me?"She asked staring up at him a dark laugh escaping her throat. "You attached me to that idiot of a girl."She said stepping forward her fangs bared. "Valerie."She spat onto the ground. "You will not live for that."She hissed staring up at him. She saw him grow red and wings. What kind of thing was he? He had wings..which Vampires didn't. But she was a Vampire, so that meant he must be some hybrid of some sort.

She glared at him hard, he seemed to be daring her to come up and fight him but she laughed and crossed her arms over her chest. "You really think I'll fall for anything you say or do? Come down here and fight me like a man!"She growled taking a few steps back so that there was a distinct middle of the field. The moon was starting to come up and it bathed the two in it's light. Sandra flinched back slightly, the moon was full, and the direct reflection hit her skin, causing it to burn slightly. She hissed and bared her fangs at him.

Sandra didn't look any different from Valerie, except that she had a bit more wild hair, and her eyes were pitch black. Her voice seemed more hollow, and her body positions more seducing then Valerie had ever tried. This Monster had stuck her to such a wimp, and now she couldn't even do things her own way, she was stuck with the same skills as that stupid little girl who cried over everything. Who was crying in the back of her head right then. Mentally kicking Valerie again, who fell silent, she stared up at the monster on the rock her eyes like pits on her porcelain face. "Come and get me."She hissed raising her hands slightly and bending forward her fangs bared, her fingers outstretched.

Kaden

Kaden continued to grin down at her. "So, you hate who you are? How very interesting." He dropped his hands holding his daggers back down to his sides, as she appeared unfazed by his deliberately dramatic approach he liked to use.

Then, he laughed out loud as she said to come down. "Now why would I do that?" he asked, his grin having returned to just looking really cocky. "When I can stay up here and wait for you to come up. I may be a psychopathic killer, but I'm not a fool, I can wait, as you lose patience, and finally run at me. And then I can fly away once I strike, land, wait for you again... Make you suffer. I so enjoy seeing pain."

Kaden continued to look down at her. He didn't really feel the sunlight reflected from the full moon. Whether his own eerie light shielded him slightly, since the moon's light was so far weaker than that of the real sun, or he just was too insane to notice, who could have said? Either way, Kaden stood there, waiting. Waiting... Waiting for the game to begin.

Sandra laughed at him. Loudly and deliberately. He seemed to think she'd lose patience! "I am a Vampire, do you REALLY think I'd lose my patience? I have eternity to wait for you."She said laughing darkly. She stood up straight and put her hands on her hips. Her frame lit by the sunlight. Her hair framed her face, making her look even more wild then normal. She was practically bristling with anger at him. But she would not be the first to attack. She would play his little game..for now.

She stared up at him silently. He was such a show off. With his big wings, and his daggers. What did he need daggers for? He had fangs! Idiot. She smiled slightly staring up at him her hands still on her hips. She smirked and shifted her position to be more comfortable. Leaning all her weight on one foot, and bending one knee. The breeze rustled in the air and she sniffed the wind. Animals had gathered around to watch the battle. She smirked and glanced towards a random deer, the animals skittered back. They seemed to think this battle was something amazing, something to watch. She grinned happily, that meant there would be a very terrible fight between the two. She had no special powers, but she enjoyed knowing that someone feared her.

Now she just had to wait, and watch for him to lose patience in her. She smirked at him and leaned back her eyes fixed on his face. Where she could just make out the outline of his eyes. She stared there silently, ready for any sort of attack.

Kaden

Kaden laughed down at her. "You forget, I have all eternity as well! And I have been here for far more of it than you have! You think that you can out wait someone thousands of years old?" He seemed amused by the thought. "You have no idea who you're talking to!"

Kaden decided to really taunt her. He sat down again, right at the edge of the waterfall, and said, "Whenever you're ready. Remember that when the sun comes up, then we both have to move either way." His voice sounded completely calm. "Besides, do you think that you can really beat me either way? After all, I am so much older than you. I have been a vampire for thousands of years, while you haven't even been one for ten. Do you really think you have enough power? You're probably far too weak to face me."

Kaden was laughing inside his mind. Oh, how he enjoyed taunting her, trying to make her be the one to charge up. He was relatively sure he could easily avoid being killed by her, he did have wings. He also had knives. He'd long since learned that they were oh so useful for tearing things apart at frightening speed, sending blood everywhere... And in a fight, they definitely beat ordinary fangs. Better reach, easier to fight with...

Sandra stared at him her fingers clenching in anger. He didn't think she could take him?! She hissed with frustration, knowing he was right about the sun coming up. Without thinking she took one step forward angrily. She planted her foot there waiting for him to do something. When nothing happened she shot off, going pretty fast across the empty space, getting to the water, and jumping up she started to climb the rock face. She would kill him! He would die TODAY! She had decided it didn't matter who attacked first, just as long as HE died.

Glaring at him angrily she climbed up quickly to get to him. Coming up from the side she got to the top in a very short amount of time and lunged at him. He could probably easily dodge it so she made sure the lunge was only hard enough to get her across the top of the cliff face, and not slide over it. Her fangs were bared, and in midair she reached down and grabbed her dagger from her shoe. She would KILL HIM! She threw her arm back and brought it down when she was close enough, hoping to hit, hoping to wound. She didn't know if he had blood, but if this hit..she would know.

Oh how she would love it if he had blood. She'd be able to clean up after wards if he did. She smirked to herself bringing the dagger down with a flash, a ripping sound being heard as it sliced through the air. Though it was hard to hear the sound over the roar of the falls just to their side.

Kaden

Kaden was actually somewhat surprised at the speed the other vampire had. He had difficulty even keeping up watching as she climbed up. Most likely that was because of how most of his power had been sealed. Well, this should be interesting at any rate. She might prove some challenge to beat like this.

Once the girl finished climbing, he flapped his wings and flew up into the air, just barely avoiding a stab from a dagger. Ah, so she had one as well? But did she have two though? As Kaden rose up into the air, he drew his own daggers again. He flew up to about ten feet above, and said, "Is that the best you have? Really now?" He liked pretending to be even more powerful than he was. The fear that he could instill was so wonderful, seeing the beginnings of doubt.

Of course, the truth this time was that he was in some danger, judging by her speed. It was even greater than his in his current state. He would have to be careful, if he misjudged an attack, it might be over. And he so wanted to rip apart more people. Kaden looked down toward her, watching to see if she'd try and jump after him. She might very well be able to... But he was quite prepared to try and get out of the way. He was arrogant, and completely insane, but he was not stupid. If he felt like he was outmatched, he would leave. Keeping her alive seemed like an effective way of making her suffer in itself. He didn't plan on killing her yet regardless...

Valerie spun to a stop and sat with one leg pushed back straight behind her, her right knee bent up and her hands on each side of it. She stood up straight and stared at him. "What are you afraid of me?"She hissed. She knew she couldn't jump that high to get him, but she could try. Getting a running start she bounded up her feet leaving the ground. Missing she fell hard, sliding across the rock and almost falling off the sheer drop behind. She pushed her foot into the ground and sat gasping softly staring up at him. "You're so scared you can't even fight me on the ground!"She said glaring up at him.

She clutched her dagger in her hand and judged her chances. Right now he seemed to be doing the same. She was fast..he wasn't as apparently, but he had dodged her, meaning he COULD dodge. Meaning she would have to be careful. Standing up straight. "Come on down here."She said giving him the full power of her seduction. She moved into a position to show off her curves, her hair thrown over one shoulder, her eyes sparkling in their deep darkness.

Staring at him she smirked. "You don't have to be afraid of me, I only want to talk, my name is Sandra."She said holding out her hand to him. She could trap him, make him believe she wouldn't hurt him. "Here I'll show you that I won't hurt you."She said and set her dagger on the ground kicking it out of her reach. She smiled up at him and held her hands out. "I promise I won't hurt you."She said innocently.

Kaden

Kaden only laughed at what she said. "Afraid? Hardly. I just know that no matter how much I outmatch my opponent, I still should not be careless. Besides, it's fun to watch you squirm." And then she suddenly became considerably more attractive... Of course, what she most likely didn't realize was that Kaden really didn't care how attractive a person was. Nothing was better than watching his victims suffer for him. Nothing, no matter how beautiful or innocent they looked... If anything, that increased it.

She called on Kaden to come down. He stayed right where he was. Then, she started trying to convince him that she was harmless. Heh. She clearly had no idea who she was dealing with. At all. However, when she dropped her dagger on the ground, he got an absolutely wonderful idea. He dropped to the ground, and slowly started walking toward her. "Oh? Really? You won't hurt me?" he said, sounding as innocent and vulnerable and just non-alicious as possible. Which was surprisingly so.

Then, once he was a bit closer, Kaden suddenly dashed at his full speed forward, grabbing for her dagger laying on the ground with his left hand as he drew the dagger he called Distortion, aiming at her throat. He then did a backflip trying to kick her as he flapped his wings to get away again.

Sandra was anticipating the lunge for the dagger and had already lunged for it, grabbing it before he could she ducked under his dagger, got hit by his wings and flew backwards. She skidded across the ground on her bottom and winced slightly. "Ouch."She grumbled staring up at him. "Oh..nice try!"She said and then giggled. Darkly, almost insanely. She stood up slowly her dagger in her hand. "Did you really think I'd let you get this?"She asked and smiled running the dagger between her lips.

She smirked at him and winked. "I see you are..unaffected by my charms, what a shame, I find you quite attractive."She said giving him another dark laugh. She loved toying with men, and he was no different. Sure he had tied her to this stupid woman named Valerie, but he sure was cute! She smirked at him again and brought the dagger down from her lips. "Must we fight?"She asked going cute on him and putting her hands behind her back. "I just want to see how much of a man you are, besides, it's not very nice to fight a lady."She said turning away from him, purposely showing him that she didn't find him a threat at all. She glanced over her shoulder to look at him and winked again, walking away her back to him.

Kaden almost could get to like this girl! He almost gave a giggle similar to the one he heard her give, but he held it back. Oh, this could be fun... He'd never run across anyone like this before! He could have fun with this girl... And if he could prove himself the better at manipulating her somehow, it would be just that much more enjoyable.

Kaden would not just wound her pride... He'd shred it, like he shredded most of his victims. Then he'd shred her as she realized that she wasn't the one doing the manipulation and broke down. Or that's how he imagined it anyway. This girl definitely seemed like she was also manipulative.

Kaden heard her comment about it not being nice to fight a lady. He scoffed, and then said, "Not nice? Haha. HAHAHAHA!!!" He started laughing, as if it was the funniest thing in the world. Of course, he did find it amusing, but his laugh wasn't involuntary, he was in full control of himself as always. He made as if wiping a tear away from his eye, though there wasn't one there, "How amusing. You're talking to the man who ripped apart your family, and just a couple of days ago, did it to another!" He let out another laugh, "What makes you think I'm at all interested in being nice?!"

Then, Kaden said, "But... I don't feel like killing you right now. I feel like it would be more interesting to let you live, and see what you do when unleashed!" He laughed again. He wondered how she'd react. If he could get close to her, or anything, find out her weakness while letting her somehow think she was the one toying with him... That would be the ultimate moment. That would be perfect! Kaden's insane mind couldn't help imagining something like that... But first, he had to somehow do that. Get her off her guard...

Sandra smirked at him turning to face him. He was laughing about her calling him not nice. She walked forward towards him a bit putting her dagger back in her shoe. "You really think I care about her family?"She asked laughing darkly. "They were nothing to me, and neither is that other family you killed."She said standing almost under him. "I only hated you because you attached me to this loser of a lady, but I find you much more interesting now that I know you."She said smirking up at him.

"So come down here, and give me you're name."She said lifting up a finger and beckoning him closer. He was a lot of fun, if she could make him think he was in charge, maybe she could actually get a hold over this guy. Oh that would be fun! Maybe even kill him later! Oh the thought of seeing the light dying in his eyes made her want to squeal with joy. But she held it in, there was time for that, a lot of time. If she managed to get him off guard somehow, lure him in with her charms maybe, get him to interested in her to kill her, or even get him to fall in love with her! HAH! Love, what a petty emotion.

But somehow she could see him being the type to fall for a sexy woman. Grinning she pushed a strand of curly hair out of her face. "My name is Sandra.'She said giving him a small bow. "And it is a pleasure to meet someone who has a fellow interest in blood, I am sorry that I attempted to kill you, I did not see how ruthless you really were."She said giggling darkly, sounding almost half insane. This was going to be a LOT of fun.

Kaden

Kaden laughed. Oh, how much fun this would be. He'd obviously found somebody like him, somebody who could really help him wreak some havoc. Someone he could break and make it so just their existence would generate enough pain for themselves that he'd enjoy it even more than killing and shredding.

Kaden came down and said, "Well, Sandra, I can see that you're quite ruthless as well. My name is Kaden." He grinned, ever watching her, not letting his guard down for a moment. If he did, she would slip in... But he'd never let down his guard. He was insane, and enjoyed being called that, but he was far from a fool.

Kaden said to her, his blood red eyes glinting in the darkness, "I think I know a village nearby with lots of victims just ready to be ripped to shreds before we drink their blood. Are you interested?" He grinned at her with an almost challenging look, as if he wanted to turn the slaughter he was planning into a contest.

Sandra grinned evilly walking up closer to him. "Ruthless, I like the word."She said watching him carefully a smirk firmly planted on her face. "Ohh, a village."She said moving closer and touching his side with her cold hand. "That sounds great."She whispered seductively in his ear reaching up and playing with a strand of hair falling down on his face. "I am feeling hungry."She said baring her fangs at him. They were pure white, showing she hadn't eaten anything in a while, for usually after eating they were stained a little red from the blood. Her were white though, she was HUNGRY.

Smiling at him she leaned against him softly, not letting her guard down for a second. She was ready to spring away at a moment's notice. If he so much as made a move to grab his dagger she'd spring back. But for now she was having to much fun. She leaned up against him. "Shall we go cause havoc together?"She whispered into his ear smiling at him with a different type of accent. Before it hadn't seem to pronounced, but the longer that Sandra stayed out, the more different her voice sounded. A different accent slurred to it. Sounding much more..evil, then Valerie ever did.
