| Welcome to Elenlond, an original medieval fantasy forum! We're always looking for new, dedicated members. Elenlond is composed of two continents: Soare and Esiria. Esiria, a land now isolated due to the efforts of the last remaining Goddess, is inaccessible to all beings and lies in the east. Soare, a continent in the west, is composed of three distinct nations: Ashoka, Soto, and Morrim. Lying between the two major continents are the Scattered Isles. Since the dissolution of the pantheon and the fall of the gods, these countries have existed in relative peace and prosperity. But how long will that peace last? Drake laughed at her comment about sitting down so he'd get small. He did sit down though. He noticed that she had taken out some sort of comb for her fur. She explained that when it got too bad it hurt, so she had to comb it. Then she took something out for her hooves and explained about that too. Drake didn't really have much comment on it. Then, she asked if he thought she could help in a fight. Drake replied to her "I think you could do pretty well, with your incredible speed. I consider myself pretty fast, but I couldn't come close to keeping up with you..." He still wasn't sure. If she was there when a battle came, it would probably be safer for her to just try and stay back, especially with his fighting style... He didn't say this though. Chase laughed and watched him for a bit. "That's nice."She said putting her stuff away and sitting looking at him. "So what do you do about you're fur?" She asked gesturing to his head and the "Fur" that grew up there. She put her hands on the ground between her legs and smiled up at him. "So tell me, what is it like? Being a human?"She asked leaning towards him. "I mean, being so tall all the time..and having..bare legs."She said crawling forward and poking him in the leg. "It's so odd!"She said looking up at him. "And not having horns..or hooves."She said touching first her horns that stuck out of her hair and then lifting up her foot to show her hoof. She looked up at him and then stood up trying to see if she could get taller then him. "I feel so small."She said shaking her head. She barely came up to his shoulder, while he was sitting down. Sighing she walked around in circles. "So when do you wanna head out? I think I gotta do some stuff first though, you know tell the parents I'm leaving the forest."She said smiling at him. |

Fur? Drake sat there for a moment, trying to think about what she meant. "Wha-?" he cut off and smacked his palm directly on his forehead as he said, "Oh." He ended the facepalm and said, "I don't do much with it. Before I left home, I'd brush it a little bit whenever it got too messy, but I don't really care enough to buy a hairbrush or anything." Then, she asked what it's like being a human, without horns or hooves. Drake laughed, and said "Well, I dunno. I don't have much problem without hooves and horns. My feet let me move just fine, even if I didn't wear shoes, and I'm not interesting in smacking my head against things as far as the horns. I choose to fight with swords in human form, and claws in dragon form anyway." Then, Chase asked Drake when he wanted to head out. Drake said to her, "I'm ready to go anytime, so when you want to go, I'm fine with it..." He sighed, and then laughed a bit, "I'll probably be kinda bored just sitting here though." |

Chase giggled. "Then take a walk or something, I'll meet you back here..erm..say twenty minutes?"She asked glancing up at the sky. "It should be getting pretty dark by then.."She said looking back at him. "We can camp here and head out in the morning if you want."She said smiling at him. "But I really do have to go talk to my parents and stuff, so take a walk and I'll meet ya back here!"She said and ran off quickly. Her tiny figure disappearing, leaving only behind her a last parting sight of her hair, and hoof prints in the dirt. Leaving she trotted briskely, she went fast and strong for ten minutes, then meeting her parents she told them she was leaving, was given some things to keep herself alive, and keep herself happy, and she left. Heading back at the same brisk trot, if not a little slower from a new bag she was carrying, and headed back to the area behind the tree. |

Drake said, "Er... Alright, I'll do that I guess." when she suggested taking a walk. He watched as she ran off into the forest, so quickly. He shook his head, amazed at her speed. Drake stood there for a moment, and looked up at the sky, which was filled with colors of sunset... Though somehow, it looked eerie, rather than beautiful. One of the most prevalent colors was almost blood-red... Drake shook his head. The color of the sky at sunset hardly mattered. He stood there for a moment, before walking into the forest... Of course, he didn't expect to be gone for hours... |

Chase stood in the clearing confused. She had thought her request had been reasonable. She looked around silently and then smiled and started to set up camp. Starting a fire, she put some mushrooms on a piece of bark and was watching them cook. He had been gone for hours, the sun had gone down long ago. And she had a tent set up, though only one for her, because she didn't know how to make tents larger than one for her. She laid back on the ground smelling her mushrooms cook and staring at a star barely visible through the branches. She wasn't really thinking much, like normal. Just staring, because she knew Drake would be back. He didn't seem the type of abandon someone. And she had never heard of someone abandoning someone before, so she took no notice. Nor had she heard of someone getting hurt on purpose. Besides fighting, so she wasn't worried. Taking out her harp and played a soft tune. Smiling she closed her eyes, laying back on the ground thinking of home. |

((OOC: Chase's player and I planned this out. I won't be having Kaden interact with Drake directly either, so I won't be "RPing with myself" XD)) Kaden was flying over the forest, on his way to see if he could find his next victim. Suddenly, he heard music... That was unusual... And almost certainly meant that a potential victim was nearby. Kaden flew toward the sound, and found a clearing, in the middle of which was a fire. Near the fire, was... A faun, how interesting. She was apparently holding a handheld harp, which she used to play the tune. Kaden flew down, landing silently behind the faun, his wings returning to normal size. He waited for her to finish playing the harp, before he stepped around and in front of her. "Hello." he said, not really sounding friendly. He would scare her before he killed her... He made his wings return to full size again, and glow with their eerie red light. Even the firelight nearby only made the light seem slightly brighter somehow. |

Chase jumped and looked at the man in front of her suddenly. "Oh hello."She said smiling softly at him. "I wasn't expecting to meet anyone else."She said smiling at him. "When I mean anyone else, I mean I have a friend on his way, and we would love if you'd join us."She said happily not really noticing the cold look he gave her, or the way that he would terrorize most people. Chase wasn't usually scared, of...well anything. She had never had the need to be scared. Smiling at him she patted the ground next to her. "I am Chase, the Faun."She said standing up and bowing, her whole four feet already almost touching the ground, now even shorter. She looked up at him and grinned. "It is nice to meet you."She said with a kind smile. She looked up at him and then realized he didn't look to happy. "Or you don't have to sit down if you really don't want to."She said looking concerned. |

Kaden couldn't believe it. She wasn't scared at all! Maybe he'd have to try something more direct. Kaden slipped behind her again suddenly, and picked her up. She was rather light, and he had no difficulty. His arms were wrapped around her, but it was certainly no hug, as he had drawn the red crystal dagger he called Rage and held it at her throat. "I won't be joining you... You'll be coming with me!" His huge immaterial wings flapped, and he rose into the air with the faun, who had introduced herself as Chase. He decided that he wouldn't kill her just yet, he'd take her somewhere. But where...? He flew in a random direction as he thought. Zedrin would be perfect. Kaden said in a snarling tone as he changed direction toward the direction the Isle of Angkar would be, "Know the name of he who shall drain you of your life. I am Kaden!" ((OOC: I have permission for Kaden to carry Chase away like this.)) |

Chase let out a soft yell as he picked her up and realized that something was wrong. This man was not nice. No not at all! Even she could see that! He had pulled out a dagger! What was going on here?! He suddenly lifted off in the air and she screamed louder. "Drake!"She yelled looking down at the ground and realizing that her friend had been gone for a while. She stared at the ground looking at the dagger and trying to get a view of the man holding her. "What are you doing?"She asked keeping her voice calm. "Take me back to my camp at once!"She said angrily. How dare he pick her up and threaten her like this! It just wasn't nice! She had never met someone so rude..or mean in her life! Drain her of her life..what?! "Take me back this instant!"She said throwing her head back, the little horns were sharp enough to hurt someone, but she was at a bad angle and only succeeded in hitting him with her head. So she used the only other weapon she had. Making her hooves separate so each toe was a dagger she moved herself around and flung her hooves back towards his legs. She was at a bad angle and didn't know quite how well this would work, but it was the only choice she had! She didn't know what he was doing with her, having never learned words for evil things. |

Kaden felt pain as the faun kicked him with her hooves. Ah, good, she was scared now at least. However, the pain was much less pleasant to him. He decided she needed more lessons in scaring. He let his hands slip, and one hand catch he by her hand with a vise-like powerful grip as he sheathed the knife with his other hand. Kaden said coldly, as he rose up higher into the sky, his immaterial wings flapping. "What do you think would happen if you fell from this distance, hm? Do you think you'd just land on a cloud and it would carry you to the ground?" Then, he got an even crueler idea. His wings glowed, but this time not with red light... With darkness! Kaden's eyes could easily see through the almost complete darkness that was generated for about two feet around him. The faun on the other hand, would probably see nothing but pitch black... "I would suggest you be silent." he said coldly. |

Chase screamed when he let her slip down and he was holding onto her with one hand. "Stop it!"She yelled her feet dangling down. She looked up at him as the red turned into darkness. Now she was dangling AND she couldn't see anything. For the first time in her life, Chase actually felt..scared. She didn't know exactly what he was doing. But he had her dangling above the ground, to far up for her to just fall safely down. No...from this height she could get severely hurt. She had never heard of dying from injuries so she wasn't afraid of that. Seeing as she didn't know what it was. Looking up at him she heard him say to stay quiet. She shut her mouth, if she said anything else she might just be dropped. Which would hurt really badly. She shivered hard gripping his hand with both of hers. He may be mean, but he was the one holding onto her, so he must not be that bad, seeing as she hadn't gotten hurt yet. |

((OOC: Well, Drake and Kaden are technically not "interacting" here, and I wanted to say what happened when Drake came back to try and meet Chase. RP ends here, I'm not gonna try and inflate my post count or anything.)) Drake was flying over the forest, heading back to meet Chase. He saw a strange blood red light in the distance. No, not just red, there was some blue there too... Well, whatever. He saw as it landed somewhere in the forest. Then, a few seconds later, it lifted off again, appearing considerably brighter than before, and without the blue visible. Drake continued flying, ignoring it. He needed to focus on finding where he'd left Chase... He soon found it. As he got closer, he realized that there appeared to be firelight glowing where the light had set down. What the...? Drake wondered silently. Then, when he got really close, he realized that that was the clearing he'd left Chase at! He flew down, and shifted to human form. "Chase? Where are you?" He looked around. She wasn't anywhere in sight, there was just a campfire, with something cooking on it. It looked, and smelled slightly charred by now. Suddenly, Drake heard a voice on the wind, faint, but clearly shouting for help. "Drake!" It sounded like Chase! Drake looked in the direction it had come from. That strange light...?! Drake shifted into dragon form and shot into the sky, as fast as he could, toward that light. Just as he was getting close enough to make out some sort of shape in it, it disappeared. What?! Chase! She was gone. Drake had no idea where she had went. His roar of rage rang through the sky and the forest below. Someone had taken Chase! She was just an innocent girl... |
