Welcome to Elenlond, an original medieval fantasy forum! We're always looking for new, dedicated members.

Elenlond is composed of two continents: Soare and Esiria. Esiria, a land now isolated due to the efforts of the last remaining Goddess, is inaccessible to all beings and lies in the east. Soare, a continent in the west, is composed of three distinct nations: Ashoka, Soto, and Morrim. Lying between the two major continents are the Scattered Isles. Since the dissolution of the pantheon and the fall of the gods, these countries have existed in relative peace and prosperity.

But how long will that peace last?

This is just a quick little announcement, to outline a few of things: Firstly, you may have noticed the forums being shifted a bit. Evona and I talked, and a couple of changes have happened. All of the oceans have been lumped together and the term 'neutral ground' has been abolished from the Scattered Isles. This means that all forums under that category are now any area out on one of the oceans, island or otherwise. You guys are, of course, free to make up your own random little islands and such. The Kaadian Way has been moved into Soare's category, now, because it only spans Soare. It still remains as neutral territory, though. The following forums have also been opened: The Harlot's Inn (Ashoka), Grand Palace of the Empress (Morrim), and The Sea of Diverging Waters (Scattered Isles). Secondly, there have been a few minor changes to the Sovereign position. Because it is an IC power position, members who decide to have a character in that position must post once or twice a week (unless you've talked to me or there's a reason you can't, for plot reasons, etc. etc.). This is to ensure that they are active. I would also advise that, if you have a Sovereign character, you be paying attention to current events - plots that are happening, power shifts, etc. Thirdly, and lastly, I'll be closing the birthday celebration-related things soon, namely the scavenger hunt contest. The Citadel will remain open, as will the Character Swap!, but anyone who hasn't created their thread in the Character Swap by next Saturday will be unable to do so beyond that point; only members who have already made a thread may continue to post back and forth. If you'd like to change who you're partnered with, you may do so. The Scavenger Hunt will be officially closed Saturday, July 11. so if you have all the answers, or think you do, be sure to send them my way. I think that's everything. =)
