Welcome to Elenlond, an original medieval fantasy forum! We're always looking for new, dedicated members.

Elenlond is composed of two continents: Soare and Esiria. Esiria, a land now isolated due to the efforts of the last remaining Goddess, is inaccessible to all beings and lies in the east. Soare, a continent in the west, is composed of three distinct nations: Ashoka, Soto, and Morrim. Lying between the two major continents are the Scattered Isles. Since the dissolution of the pantheon and the fall of the gods, these countries have existed in relative peace and prosperity.

But how long will that peace last?

At first he didn’t notice how odd and bashful Valerie was looking and acting; he was too caught up in his work and trying to get rid of the light residue that was causing her problems. When she spoke, he looked up at her, staring back her, his idea apparently working perfectly which pleased him. He raised his eyebrow at how she looked so embarrassed, not understanding why she was looking like that. He hadn’t done anything strange he thought, having only helped her a bit. She turned away from him then and after a moment it was his turn to crack a small smile, her strange embarrassment kind of striking him as funny.

He felt her breathe deeply as he put his dagger back at his side, having done as much as he could to help soothe her pain. “Hm?” He hummed when she called his name, waiting for her to say something. He was expecting a thank you, but that’s not what he received. A sly grin appeared on his face at her request and he didn’t move, catching the effort she was using to keep her voice steady.

“I think I’m comfortable right here…” He said to her, his voice a playful whisper as he suddenly caught on to what was going on. He sat there for a moment before actually scooting just a little bit closer so that he now straddled her lap. “What is it with you and physical contact?” He asked her then, staring hard unable to help himself, his voice still in that whispery tone. When he saw something that elicited a reaction out of people, he just had to explore it further. ”You shouldn’t be afraid of being close to people… You’ll be around a long time; it’ll be good if you start getting comfortable with it.”

Valerie gasped slightly when he actually scooted closer to her. Was he..hitting on her?! She looked at him silently her eyes the only thing able to show how embarrassed she was. He was whispering, straddling her lap and she felt awkward, and he was laughing at her! She could see it in his eyes. "I don't have a prob..."She stopped and looked at him carefully. "Well, it's mostly because I'm so cold, people flinch away from it."She said looking up at him, her eyes boring into his. This was NOT like Drium at all. To attack her one second and straddle her the next.

"I'm not afraid to get close to people! I just...people don't like Vampires..so I'm cautious."She said staring him in the eye. She felt the cell door behind her, he was on top of her so that his legs trapped her in. She couldn't move. Her hands were keeping her upright, her palms planted on the floor beside her. "What..are you doing anyway?"She asked trying to sound casual. He seemed to find this funny, so if she acted like it WASN'T awkward, maybe he would get off! Seeing that it didn't phase her in the slightest. But she could feel his heat warming her cold skin up and it made her open her mouth slightly to take a deep breathing trying to win over the want to do something she knew she shouldn't.

Staring up at him she knew this was going to get bad if he stayed like that to long. His scent burned in her throat but if she attacked she knew she'd get her ass whooped. Mostly because he had done it before, and knew this time she wouldn't be so lucky with an enchanted dagger to the stomach. The wound was pounding angrily, and it hurt, but not nearly as bad as before when it had had light in it. Now it was just hurting like normal. She stared at him putting her hands against the base of the cell bars trying to sit up straight and back up as far away as she could get from him, knowing the only way he'd move was if he wanted to.

She gasped and he snickered, eyes flashing slightly at her response, amused. His eyes narrowed, though the look in them wasn’t threatening when she began to deny that she had a problem. Then she told him what he thought was the truth and he relaxed, listening to her explanation. “Temperature isn’t something that really bothers me.” He told her with a sly grin.

“Not everyone dislikes vampires, you know. If that was the case, you wouldn’t have made any friends.” He paused after that, but only for a moment before grinning once more.

“Besides…” He purred, moving his hand to grab one of the bars right beside her head as he leaned in closer, now only an inch or two away from her face. “You have those powers of seduction for a reason…” A very small chuckle escaped him after that as he continued to look her in the eyes, hinting at various things. When Drium decided to push something, he usually decided to push it hard and that was exactly what he was going to do now.

He was likely to be unaffected by the vampire’s seduction powers, not that she’s know this, so his telling her that was just him playing around with her. In fact, this was all just him playing around with her; he had no feelings beyond platonic for Valerie and even those were questionable because of the way he acted towards her. Drium saw this as a game and a lesson, though he was still making it up as he went along. The demon snickered again and moved his other hand, placing his palm against her chest, right above where her heart was located.

“Don’t be cautious.”

Valerie stiffened when he moved his hand up to the bar right beside her head. She was stuck fast now. But what he said caught her off guard. Was this a lesson for seduction. She suddenly felt a flare of confidence. If she could seduce Drium...she could seduce ANYONE. Grinning she flicked a mental switch, when he put his hand on where her heart had been she placed on hand on his and traced his jawline with her other hand. She knew he probably wasn't going to fall for anything, but she liked to think she could try.

Smirking slightly she leaned in closer to him moving her hand from her chest down to his leg that was straddling her. "So what do you actually think of me?"She purred her face close to his, her eyes sparkling. She had a feeling he'd be the type of person to be entranced by a woman who was more vicious in quality. So she moved up against him, her abs touching his, making this position much more interesting, seeing as his hands were holding onto the bars by her head. She used her natural muscle to keep herself in that position her lips hovering over his her eyes partly closed.

She made soft gasping noises, and pressed her abs against his. It was her special way of showing that she knew how to play bad girl. She ran her hand along his jaw line, and ever so carefully placed a finger in his mouth. "Hm.."She said with a small giggle looking him in the eyes her own dark ones sparkling with a hint of amusement. This was actually fun. She hadn't had fun in a long time, and this was getting scandalous. She smiled and put her forehead to his, making this even more interesting, her finger still tucked firmly between his lips.

She stiffened and he laughed inwardly, but then he spotted the look in her eye and knew that she wasn’t going to shy away from his actions anymore. This was both a good and bad thing from the way he was seeing it, though he didn’t take the time to make heads or tails of which was which. She touched him, first placing her hand on his and then following the length of his jaw. He didn’t move when she did this, or react at all, just watching as she then leaned towards him and put her hand on his leg. Though her question failed to surprise him, he had no idea how to answer it, or even if he should; so he just kept silent.

It didn’t seem like she was really interested in hearing his answer anyway for soon after she pressed her cold body against his warm one, she stuck her finger in his mouth. Drium paid little attention to the sounds she was making, though from the look of his face, he seemed very interested in the vampire’s actions. Truthfully he found it weird that her finger was in his mouth and would actually rather that was elsewhere.

He nipped the tip of her finger with one of his fangs, and he wasn’t gentle about it, intentionally breaking the skin with a small growl coming from his throat. Drium then pulled his face away so that the finger fell away from him as he grinned before moving back close to Valerie.

He leaned in past her then and nipped her earlobe, much more gently than he did her finger. “How far would you take this?” He whispered to her, the free hand not holding the bar, moving down the vampire’s body to explore her cool flesh.

Valerie gasped softly when he nipped her finger and broke the skin. She let her hand fall down to her side, but he was already nipping her earlobe by that time. "Depends on how far you're willing to take it."She whispered her body shivering when he ran his hand down her side. Feeling her cold skin, which was slowly heating up due to his body heat. He still had her pinned against a side. She would play along with him as long as he wanted to.

She wasn't quite sure what she was doing, but she didn't mind it at all. The pain in her stomach was a distant memory. Ninshi was a distant memory. Drium was teaching her to be seductive and she liked it. She ran her hand along his leg gently her free hand moving to his shoulder as he stayed near her ear. "What are you willing to do Drium?"She asked heatedly, her voice as elegant and inviting as she could make it, which was pretty freaking inviting. She smiled slightly moving her lips to press against the base of his jaw, letting her cool lips linger there for a second, then taking them off and wondering what he was going to do.

Her ambiguous answer caused him to sigh slightly agitatedly in her ear. Not that he minded her response; it was just that it probably would’ve been in her best interest to give a definite answer. He barely felt her touch as she questioned him, clearly attempting to sway his emotions though there was no doubt that eventually she’d realize the demon could not be charmed. She kissed his face and his jaw tightened. The chill though not displeasing, was not what he was used to and was something to muse over. Drium grinned as he hovered above her, his face beyond her line of sight, mouth at her ear. “Everything…” He all but growled out before going into action.

The demon didn’t hold back and wasn’t at all gentle with his ‘lesson’, his rough hands making very short work of the rags she called clothes. He showed her everything, including all the perverse and taboo things that he could think of. There was no opting out; anything he wanted to do, he did, whether the vampire wanted it or not. The demon took his time with each action, everything he did specifically for his own pleasure. He was the aggressive possessor and she the subservient drudge.

Drium marked her, sharp teeth leaving gashes and punctures along her skin. His actions and movements maintained a degree of brutality that would leave any human of the vampire’s complexion black, blue and too sore to move. She’d find out that there was a certain satisfaction in a little bit of pain, even as nimble fingers danced along the dagger wounds he’d given her; the ginger movements being the only ‘gentle’ action he displayed.

When all was said and done, the sun had long ago set beyond the horizon. There had been no romance, no emotion other than lust in the things he did to her and had her do to him.

The sound of him redoing his belt buckle was all that could be heard aside from the vampire’s breathing. A self satisfied smirk was on his face and he half turned to her, eyes flashing.

Valerie wasn't expecting the brutal attack he did to her. The ripping, the clawing the..brutality of it. Leaving her skin etched and she knew it would never heal no matter what blood she drank. Her clothes were in pieces, and she lay quivering on the floor of the prison. She heard him finally buckle his belt, her breathing hard, and even for a Vampire, she felt sore. Sore all over. There was no possible doubt that he had left her scarred. He had only been gentle once, and that had been with the dagger wounds HE HIMSELF had created.

By the end of it she was gasping. All was quiet and she saw him look over. She struggled to a sitting position and winced feeling the deep etches in her shoulders, her stomach. Both from teeth and nails. She leaned against the bars of the nearest cell and gasped for air. It wasn't passionate, there was no romance to it. It was simple lust, and he had fulfilled himself. She glanced over at the tattered remains of her clothes and wondered what she was going to do about that vaguely. She was more concerned on if he was done or not.

Body aching she leaned against the bars of the cell and took deep breaths. Staring at his shining eyes. Her's felt dull, like the life had been sucked out of them. They almost literally had. She felt like she was in pieces, unable to do anything more then gasp for air. That was it. Tearing her gaze away from him she glanced towards the entrance, it was completely dark. They had gone a lot longer then a day in there. Which was why she was so sore. Had that happened to a normal human... there would have been blood in pools on the floor, and they would most likely be dead. Or so sore they couldn't move, she was feeling that way herself and she was a VAMPIRE!

"I need new clothes." Was all she gasped out, her breathing still hard, her body shaking with the effort to sit up. "I can't run out of here like this." She whispered and fell back against the bars again, resting her head back. She took in a few deep breaths trying to calm it down, but it still kept coming harder. It was like being... tortured. In the cruelest way possible. She struggled to sit back up and turned her gaze on him. Picking up a piece of cloth that had used to be her clothes she forced herself to smirk.

Her mind was thinking, "VALERIE GET THE HELL OUT OF THERE!" but her body was saying. "Valerie you have to admit, that was freaking awesome." She had noticed the simple pleasure of the pain he had caused her. The pain from the wounds he inflicted, from the mental torture of not being able to do ANYTHING to stop him, left her.. almost wanting more. But she shouted that part of her down and stared at him the small smirk still in place on her face. She stared at his belt buckle for a long moment before letting her eyes drift up to his face.

“Then get up and find some.” He cut her short gruffly when she gasped about her need for new garments. Drium caught himself after saying that and started, his eyes softening just a little as he turned away and sighed, shaking his head. The demon gritted his teeth in agitation, feeling as if he was letting himself slip into a mental state he had thought he had distanced himself from. “There won’t be any clothes in here… This place has been long since abandoned.” He told her softly, his back to her.

Drium turned around and then walked over to where Valerie sat and crouched in front of her. “I know you probably won’t want to go outside like this, but I don’t think there’s much of an alternative right now.” He glanced at the piece of cloth she had in her hand and noted that the object certainly wouldn’t be doing much in terms of helping her to cover up at this point. Not that was really doing much to begin with.

He didn’t really think much of her having to be outside naked. It was night after all so there wouldn’t be that many people awake and about to take a peek at her. Not to mention that they weren’t within the city limits anyway and it was unlikely that anyone was wandering around near the prison doing anything important. Drium offered Valerie a hand in order to help her get to her feet. “Most likely we’ll have to steal something for you from within the city.” He told her, eyes moving to look up in the direction they had come from.

“Unless you want me to go and get you a cloak or something and come back…” The demon thief offered as he looked back at her. “I promise that I’ll come back if that’s what you want.”

Valerie stared at him silently for a long moment as he seemed to soften towards her. After all that and he JUST now softened towards her? What was wrong with this guy? She had to remind herself that he wasn't human. At all, in any way shape or form. Letting out a soft whimper she took his hand and pulled herself to her feet. Her mind far from trying to seduce him. "Would you please?" She whispered looking up at him pleadingly. She didn't want to go out there nude. That was NOT on her list of things to do.

She didn't understand why she trusted herself with this guy. He had basically just raped her. And yet here she was, holding onto his hand, her body extremely sore, her mind exhausted. Yet she didn't move. She couldn't, not from him. He was offering to help her, which was more then anyone else usually did. She winced slightly and ran her free hand across the gashes on her collar bone. Then along her sides, to her stomach. Large nail marks, and teeth marks combined. She winced again and glanced up at him letting her hand drop from his grasp as she stared at the gashes. The wound on her stomach felt like nothing at all compared to these fresh nail marks.

Grimacing she looked up at him. "I would really like a cloak, then we can steal some clothes or something." She said slowly, now why had she added we? That was just confusing herself now! To think that she still thought of him as worthy to travel with her. But the fact that he had offered, and told her he'd come back if she wanted him to. And she found she did want him to. She nodded and let a slow smile appear on her face, unsure of how much this would hurt her more to stay with him. But he was her teacher, and she had to stick by him, no matter what.

The demon nodded in response to her plea and let go of her as he turned to leave. He didn’t seem to be in very much of a hurry and took his leisure making his way to the exit, completely oblivious to any discomfort the vampire might be feeling. He turned when she requested a cloak and added something about the both of them stealing clothes later. His eyebrow rose at that and he bit back a scoff, replacing it with a strained ‘Ok’ before wandering out of sight.

Drium had no intention of having Valerie tag along and attempt to steal things with him. Thievery was something that he took very seriously and the girl had already proved that standing on her own two feet for extended periods was a difficult task. He’d rather not risk being agitated or arrested because of her clumsiness.

An hour later, when he finally returned, the demon had a bundle of clothes in his arms. He didn’t travel all the way through the prison to get Valerie. Instead he stood within the entrance and yelled for her to come to the front and meet him. He didn’t actually have to raise his voice too much; the cavernous interior of the place was easily able to carry his echoing voice down to its depths.

Drium’s eyes fell to all that he brought for her while he waited for the vampire to appear before him. He had stole a lot more items than he had needed to, which he was only just now realizing. He wasn’t sure why he had taken so many articles from the various shops he had visited, but then again he guessed it didn’t matter too much. Either way, she should be happy with the things he had come back with. All of the clothing was much more dignified than the pathetic rags she was accustomed to.

He left her with nothing but an 'OK.' She stood there for a long moment staring at the darkness that had swallowed him. She shivered with discomfort and glanced down at herself. Long deep gashes in her once smooth skin stood out clearly visible against her skin. She ran her hand over her stomach, feeling the three deep knife wounds there, she could even stick her fingers in slightly and feel the simple flesh. She was surprised to see that even though he had stabbed her, she didn't seem to have any empty space in her.

She realized with a shock that being a Vampire she was just.. a lump of flesh. How she worked she had no idea, but she was living, and breathing, but the breathing might just be an act of habit, something she tricked herself into needing. She realized then that she was still standing, but sitting down seemed uncomfortable. Especially with what just happened on that floor. The reasons she had these gashes had happened on that floor. She made a face and decided to stand. But after what felt like hours, which had really only been about half an hour she found herself sitting on the floor, her knees pulled to her chest hugging them.

He had been gone a long time, how long did it take to get a single cloak? He must not be a very good thief, or maybe he was caught! What if he got caught stealing and was arrested. She stood up quickly and stared at the dark entrance. If he didn't hurry back she wouldn't be able to leave before the sun come up, and she'd be stuck in this place for another day. Remembering what had happened. She shuddered and started to walk towards the entrance but stopped. Maybe the nearest town was just far away.

She slowly sank to the floor, resting on the steps. Fifteen minutes, ten minutes, still no Drium. Finally she heard a shout and she jumped to her feet almost running to the entrance. He stood there, with a bundle in his hands. So that's what had taken so long! He had been getting her a full wardrobe! Slowly coming forward she took them from him and after a few moments of figuring out how the clothes worked she was in them and ready to go.

The shirt was perfect for her, a blouse that a woman must have worn at one time because it was a bit bigger in the chest, even though she really didn't have a chest. The male pants she wore were a bit long, and she had to roll them up, but the boots fit perfectly, she slipped them on easily and they felt wonderful, comfortable and relaxing. She knew she'd be able to run miles in these boots. Putting on the traveling cloak last she hooked it at the chin in front of her and pulled it close. It was a fine cloak, it must have been made with real fur, for it was soft and black. She ran her hand over the material in amazement. "Where did you find this?" She whispered looking up at him slowly. The hood was also perfect for keeping off light from her face.

She vaguely wondered what would happen if she walked into sunlight with no skin showing, would it hurt? Or would she be protected by shadows. She had a feeling she'd be protected by the shadows because the material was so heavy it would easily cover her up. She ran her hand against the pendant that held the cloak under her chin. It was a simple round golden piece that could be unfastened. She had never seen anything like it before in her life. Something that all she had to do was press a button and it opened, push it together and it closed. She ran her fingers along the markings on the round piece. It was some sort of crest, it felt like. Taking the cloak of quickly she examined the locket closer.

It was divided into four sections, in the first section was a black bear carved into it. It was standing on all fours, it's mouth open wide like it was roaring. The section under that had a lion on it, it was standing in a proud stance, it's legs wide and it's mouth open, also roaring. Down the middle was a groove, in which if you pressed a button on the side between the Bear and the Lion, the lock snapped open and the cloak was unfastened. On the other side was a Dragon, billowing fire from it's mouth, something clutched in it's claws as it flew it's wings wide. In the last section was a man, a sword in his hand, a village behind him, he was surrounded by dead bodes of creatures. Bears, wolves, Elven looking people, and others like them. He stood victorious in the midst of all the chaos.

Glancing up at Drium she slowly undid the lock and pulled the cloak around her neck again, pulling the hood up silently and hid her hands in it, the cloths covered her entire body, and left plenty of room for her to walk and move without skin showing. Letting the hood fall back she looked at Drium and smiled. "thank you so much." She said softly. "The clothes you got are beautiful and fit me perfectly." She smiled and bowed her head to him to show her gratitude.

The demon knew that he had taken a long time to return to Valerie, and it wasn’t because he was busy browsing for clothes to steal. Stealing things was the easy part; it was second nature to him and akin to simply breathing. What had taken him so long was the fact that his mind was screaming for him to have some alone time. He needed to think about things without anyone else around for a little bit; he felt torn. There were several distinct feelings that were tugging him in various directions and he simply needed the time to sort them out. Now that he had returned, that was all settled and dealt with.

Drium leaned up against the side wall and simply watched Valerie with arms crossed against his chest. His eyes held a somber look in them as she filtered through the variety of items. He could tell that she was surprised by what he had brought to her and was likely happy about them too. The shirt fit her perfectly, but he showed little reaction to this, only noting in his head that he was still able to accurately pick out of woman’s body size and shape. For the most part anyway.

He simply shrugged in response to her question, eyes never leaving her as she felt all over the cloak he had gotten for her. Where he had gotten the item he didn’t think mattered. A store was a store and honestly he simply assumed that it was pure luck that he had picked on with such nice items. Or, at least, that was what he was trying to convince himself of.

Completely silent as she examined the cloak in detail, he smirked to himself in admiration of his own ability. He picked a good one when he snatched that particular item. It had called to him when he spotted it and after he had taken it, he wondered that maybe he should have saved it to give as a gift to Shadow. That thought was pushed aside though as he figured he could always find something nice to give to her if he ever felt the desire to do so.

When Valerie looked at him, he blinked lazily, nodding when she thanked him. Pushing himself off the wall, he held his hands behind his head, sighing softly. “Eh, don’t worry about it.”

He said with simple nod before beginning to walk towards the exit. “Come on, no point in hanging around here anymore.” He told her offhandedly as he once more went into the night air.

Valerie glanced at him before turning her eyes away. She was still very sore and didn't want to follow him, in fact she wanted to run away. But for some reason her feet led her after him, forcing her to keep on his tail. "So what else are you going to show me?" She asked in a voice that showed she really didn't want to learn. He had shown her plenty back there, and she had just lost something to him that she had valued above anything else, and now she was stuck treading after him in these new clothes. Clothes he had gotten her after he had hurt her in more ways then one.

She felt drained and just wanted to go find her tree and sleep for a few days, but she knew she couldn't do that, she needed to eat to often. Food could be a pain sometimes. She sighed slightly as she followed him and her hand ran over her arm, where a particularly deep gash was set into her stone skin. One that ran all the way from her shoulder to the tip of her middle finger, meaning there was no way to hide it. She wondered if he had planned that way or it had just happened in the confusion of the darkness. She gasped slightly as her finger brushed against the cloak and even the soft fabric made it hurt slightly.

Glaring at the sky she looked around. "I need to get back to the forest." She said quickly. "The night is to late, I really really need to get back." She said speeding up so that she was in front of Drium instead of behind him. "Sorry, but I guess I'll see you later." She said and made off at a sprint, hoping to get as far away as possible from him, hoping to just leave him in the dust.

Drium wasn’t really thinking about how Valerie was feeling. He didn’t care. Everything that he had done to her she had asked for and there was no guilt or remorse on his part regarding it. The sound of her voice made him turn his head to flick a glance in her direction.

“Nothing.” He said plainly. There was nothing on his mind to show her tonight. In fact, at the moment he didn’t know what to do with her after having his way with her. It wasn’t that he disliked Valerie; no he was actually kind of fond of her. It was just that recently she had tried his patience and caused him to put her in her place. Now that he did, her usefulness to him for the night was over and he wanted to get away from her. Asking her to leave with him was more of hallow pleasantry than anything else.

He wasn’t paying attention to her as he walked. His head was tilted back and eyes watching the night cloud. The demon had no real destination and was going to simply wander around until he ran into something interesting. Her gasp didn’t go unnoticed though and his feline ears twitched in reaction, but he didn’t turn to see.

“Mmm.” Was all he said in response to her words, eyes only going to her when she moved up in front of him.

“See ya…” He mostly murmured as she began darting off away from him. Drium stopped moving as he watched her leave, eyes narrowing to slits as the corner of his mouth twitched. Hopefully the girl had learned from her foolishness that it was extremely unwise to keep poking and prodding at a demon the way she had done. Maybe next time in the future she’d stop being so rebellious and learn that she was supposed to listen and obey; nothing else.

With that thought in mind, he turned away from the direction Valerie headed in and started on his own path to destinations unknown.
