| Welcome to Elenlond, an original medieval fantasy forum! We're always looking for new, dedicated members. Elenlond is composed of two continents: Soare and Esiria. Esiria, a land now isolated due to the efforts of the last remaining Goddess, is inaccessible to all beings and lies in the east. Soare, a continent in the west, is composed of three distinct nations: Ashoka, Soto, and Morrim. Lying between the two major continents are the Scattered Isles. Since the dissolution of the pantheon and the fall of the gods, these countries have existed in relative peace and prosperity. But how long will that peace last? Shien-Zen was soaring high through the sky, trying to get his mind off of his first encounter here on this land with the magician known as Razi. Razi completely disrespected Shien-Zen, and he was still a little angry over it, wondering what else he would come across. It was not too long before he left the beach area and was now flying high over the forest. He stopped in the middle of the air, his eyes flashing as he scanned the area, testing his new ability to see if it was truly restored to the way it was before he landed here..low and behold, it was. He could see everything below him clearly with stunning detail. This made him smile happily to himself. "Very good..so something beneficial did come out of my first encounter here..perhaps now I can start my mission." |

Valerie jumped up into a tree gasping for breath. So it wasn't the smartest thing to tackle something way to big for her. But luckily it couldn't climb! She wasn't even sure what IT was. She climbed up to the top of the tree and hung onto the small branches there. She was breathing hard but she didn't care. Glancing down she smiled and realized she had lost it. Moving just below the tops of the trees she glanced around. Nothing around so she dropped to the ground her fangs bared. Nothing stirred so she started off quickly in the direction of her tree ready to sleep before the sun came up. |

As he scanned the area below him with his eyes, he noticed the figure below him running from something. He did not get a chance to see what exaclty it was, as it had left the area, and he did not care, figuring it was some sort of animal. He was more focused on the female. "And what is this?? It piqued his interest. The way it jumped up onto the tree, meant that whatever he was looking at was a bit more than human. He tilted down, falling toward her with his wings spread. It only took a few seconds for him to stop, hovering in front of her with his wings folded behind him. He did not say anything yet, he did not want to make any false accusations. His gaze seemed to be harsh, as he looked into her eyes. |

Valerie froze, a man was hovering in front of her. Wait hovering? She bared her fangs at him. "Who are you?"She asked knelt down in a defensive position. She didn't want any trouble, she had to get out of the less dense part of the forest before the sun came up. "Let me past, I need to get into the dense part of the forest."She said her voice sounding frantic. She looked around her searching for openings in the trees, hoping that it wouldn't get light out and there were no openings around her. If there were....uh oh. She had to many scars to count from the sun burning her. She hated it. |

He saw her fangs, this person definitely was not human, whoever she was. His eyes thinned, as he thought to himself what kind of creature this could be..her skin was pale, she had fangs..her eyes were blackened. It was obvious that this person was a vampire, and he felt he did not need to look into her soul, if she even had a soul. "..What are you doing out here?" He put bass into hsi voice, so that it woudld echo throughout the area. His gaze did not cease, nor did it soften up. Since she was vampire, he already had the assumption that she had murdered several people..but before he did anything about it, he wanted to speak with her a little first. |

Valerie stared at him silently. "I was just heading back home."She said still crouched in a defensive position. She didn't like the looks of this guy. He scared her. "What are you?"She asked staring at him her eyes blank. She couldn't help but notice he was looking her over. By now he knew what she was so she bent down touching her hands to the ground her fangs bared at him. She stared at him her eyes dark. She hadn't had anything to eat for a while and the burning in her throat was almost unbearable with him standing so near her. It was terrible, trying to suppress that need to drink. |

"Heading back home.." He repeated it to himself, trying to figure if this was a likely story, which it actually was. However she was a vampire..and he needed to address this. The question is..how would he go about doing it? He was not sure how strong this vampire was in comparison to him, but maybe he was a bit stronger, she seemed scared of him. Through her stare alone he could tell that she wanted his blood, and once again, he was not ready to battle just yet with much of anybody. This made him mad on the inside, however..he had to step down from battling a lowly vampire, and even more anger could be seen on his face, through his eyes as he looked into hers. "..Before you get any ideas, let me tell you..you do not want any of my blood. If you drink it you will die. I am a seraph, meaning I am of holy origin." "How many people have you murdered alone in the past week?" |

Valerie stared at him as he warned her against his blood. The anger on his face was plain. She bent even closer to the ground. She didn't know what his problem was. She hadn't done anything. She thought back trying to think how many she had killed. She hadn't been that hungry recently, so it must have only been a couple. Humans filled her up quickly. "Erm...I don't know..why?"She asked staring at him. If he was of holy blood he must want to kill her because she was "Evil" She stared at him her eyes glassy. "Just because you have 'pure' blood doesn't mean you're any better then us lowly vampires."She said staring at him, her hands on the ground, crouched as far down as she could get. |

Did she really just tell him that he was no better than her? Did she really just have the nerve to come out of her mouth, and tell her that he, a Seraph, someone who protects the innocent from from evil, is no better than a blood thirsty murderous vampire. His body slowly rose backwards and into the air, his fists clenched at his sides. It was not her time yet..it was not time for her to be..punished for her sins. "You really are stupid if you think that I am not better than your heartless, soulless, blood thirsty, murderous vampire-" He had to cut himself short, his eyes closing as he raised a hand to cover his mouth. Cause if he did allow himself to speak with such foulness, he really would be no better than her..in that sense. But he was..and he had to keep it that way. "But you will learn. I am just surveying the area for now..cause when I am finished, YOU will be the second one feel the Wrath of God." |

"Just because I have no choice to be what I am?"She asked staring at him as he rose into the air. "I don't get it! You think you're better because you got the lucky end of the straw? I got the short straw and now I'M being blamed for it? What kind of sick world do you live in?" She growled looking up at him her fangs bared. "I kill to eat, just like the humans kill animals."She said her hands shaking. "I'm not worse then the stupid Humans."She said staring at him. "They kill each other, at least I don't kill my own kind."She said crouched down. |

She still had nerve to address him, even though he already made it plain and clear he was not going to fight her at this point and time, even though he should. His eyes opened to look at her, wondering if he felt it necessary to respond to her defense against the way that she was. And he decided that he would.. "What a pitiful response, you were not born a vampire..you become it. I was born this way, you filth. And yes..you are much worse than the 'stupid' humans. You cannot put a human in the same tier as an animal. Not all humans kill and murder, but on the other hand..all vampires kill, whether the human is innnoent or not." He paused for a second, to point at her. "I will make sure that as soon as I regain a reasonable portion of my strength, they will all be obliterated..especially you." With that last promise to her, he turned around and shot high into the air, and away from her, continuing to survey the area. |

Valerie stared after him. She couldn't believe this. Some guy just threatened her because she was a vampire...forced to be what she was, killed for food. Just like humans. She watched him fly away and didn't know what to do. She was scared that he would kill her. She turned and started to run back to the tree. She had to pick up and leave. Just get out of there, run away from this forest. She didn't want to die. She had worked to hard. She had just found out what it was like to live. She didn't want to die. She got to her tree and went inside. |
