First Five Abilities
- Martial Arts – Shien-Zen is proficient with using his body as a weapon, and knows various forms of martial arts. He knows how to counter incoming attacks with hand and feet, and knows how to deliver them as well.
- Celestial Strength – Being that he is an angel, a high ranking angel (Seraph) at that, Shien-Zen’s strength is beyond that of a regular human. It would take the strongest human to stand up to him physically, though at this point in time, he is no match for a higher level demon.
- Celestial Movement – Shien-Zen is a seraph, so he has six wings. These allow him to move along the ground at a faster rate than walking would allow, and also allow him to fly at a moderate speed.
- Light from Above – By chanting a short prayer, Shien-Zen can call a light from the heavens to shine down and heal a portion of his wounds, or heal the portion of wounds on another. However, if this person who he calls the light upon happens to be of a dark alignment, the light would damage and burn them instead, as it is a holy light. The light isn't a terribly strong light, and it can only heal so much, and at the same time, only do so much damage. It functions as a simple healing spell, and at the same time a simple attack.
- Holy Aura – Shien-Zen always has a holy aura around him. However, he can focus his energy, and set the aura aflame. This would protect him from weak magic attacks as long as he has enough energy to support it.

- Angel Vision- Shien-Zen has angelic eyes, and because of that, he can see through simple illusions. This also gives him the ability to see into the soul of another, being able to easily tell the alignment of the person. He can also see clearly in the dark, and with these eyes, he can see through invisibility and can see relatively far distances with great detail.

Simple 25 posts-
- Punishing Light- Shien-Zen has power over light, holy light, in specific. Holy Energy runs through his body, and he can focus it, and shoot it at whomever in the form of a beam of light. It moves at a fast enough speed that an average human would find it very difficult, unless he/she had exceptional speed, to evade it. The damage it does depends on the alignment of the person he is fighting. The more evil the person is, the more damage it does. However, if the person is of good alignment, then the attack would do proportionally less damage. This attack would not hurt another angel, so the closer to holy you are, the less damage it does.

Hum... I like it, but I think the inability for an average human to dodge it is a bit much. Especially at the simple stage. I'm fine with the inability to dodge, but I think maybe you should either make it so that it's difficult to dodge, or it'll be a close-call kind of thing (like... it whizzes by a character's ear). Right now it sounds very absolute, like if you're anything average or less, you have no hope. And that's not entirely fair, you know?
Also, Yori and I are curious: what happens if you're not evil? D=

In order to match the variety of offensive techniques he can use with his body (straight punches, roundhouse kicks, back fists), he know develops a stronger defense. He can now use his arms and his legs to block, and possibly even counter, incoming attacks. For example, against a straight punch or knife stab, Shien-Zen could catch the arm of the attack with both of his hands, and use their own momentum against them to throw them off balance.

In order to perform this technique, Shien-Zen must perform a chant, asking the heaven's to grant power, and a particular hand motion. This takes one full turn to perform. If he is interrupted while completing this, he must retry to complete the chant and motion. If he is successful in completing the motion and chant, the sky will open up and a medium sized beam of destructive holy light will shoot downward and toward the opponent. It is powerful enough blast through a small portion, (a room’s worth) of a house.
Shien-Zen cannot use this move as he pleases, since he pulls the power from the Heaven’s. The Heaven’s must decide based on the alignment of the person. If the person is anywhere from neutral to evil, the heaven’s will assist Shien-Zen, and send the beam at the opponent he called it upon. However, anyone with an alignment from good and higher, he will not get assistance. Also if the heavens determine he has abused this move (using it 2 times in the same day), the second part of the move may temporarily be disabled, and nothing will happen when he completes the chant and hand motion.

With the first one, would you be able to find a better way to describe how fast he really would be? Try to add more detail than just one step below a blur. It's just a bit confusing as to how fast that really is. Remember that these are intermediate abilites after all; there still has to be some type of limitations to them.
As far as the second one goes, that is way too powerful for an intermediate spell. A house is a pretty large area to cover, and a lot of damage. Remember, the ability tutorial states: "Intermediate abilities may be slightly more powerful than your simple abilities, but not so much that they can do massive amounts of damage. You may be able to damage (not destroy) a building to a point, but you cannot completely annihilate it." Also the first sentence of the last paragraph doesn't make sense. What exactly are the heavens deciding about the person he wants to cast the spell on? Edit those couple of things and repost please!

o.0 I don't understand what use you'd even have for Heavenly Hammer...
Also think that it might be too strong still, since you can't very well use the force to destroy a room on a person. And being that rooms don't have alignments, you couldn't very well do anything to that either.

I think if you bring it down to second degree burns that would be okay. Third degree is rather serious, as it doesn't just fillet the skin but the nerves as well. Fourth is well beyond that, and quite fatal. So keeping it only skin deep (you know... like beauty! =D) should be fine.

In addition to that, it has been decided he needs to see more than an alignment to decide what to do with a person. So he can now see into the mind of the person he is looking at. However, he has to be looking directly at them for this to work. In addition, he cannot just look at every single part of their past, the only things he could see are the evil things the person has done, (steal, lie, cheat, murder, things of that nature) and some of the things that linked up to them (roughly 40-70%).
- Celestial Strength [Upgrade] – Shien-Zen’s physical strength has increased beyond that of a less formidable demon and is relatively well beyond that of a strong human. He could know punch through a brick wall with his full strength, and could lift almost 700 lbs. above his head, though his physical structure doesn’t show it. Because his body has become stronger offensively, it has also increased to where he can take more damage than before (about 25% more) without suffering from exhaustion.
- Reflexes – Shien-Zen’s eyes have sharpened to the point where he can track a person’s body movement (when he is in a confrontational position with another), and he can make his body move accordingly to away from where a strike is coming from, whether it be with a weapon, body part, or incoming projectile. (Knife, dagger, energy beam, fireball coming toward him, for example.)

Hm. Denied.
It's not really fair to look into a person's past. That could interfere with some for plot reasons, so I can't see justifying it. Besides, that's not gonna help Shien with his people skills, is it? Just looking at the bad things a person has done doesn't paint a full picture.
Reflexes seems to be a bit too much. No one should be able to move or react that fast, especially for only an intermediate ability. Some limitations should be added, to make it less of an invincibility issue.

This only applied to one person he is fighting, the one he is focusing on (Knife, dagger, energy beam, fireball coming toward him, for example.)

Alrighty... So.
Angel Vision is better. However, I'm curious as to what sorts of related things you're referring to. Don't bother editing the ability and reposting it right now, I just want to know what it is he'd see (or examples of it) and such. Just describe it for now, and we'll go from there on that one.
As for the reflexes... Again, don't bother editing the ability. I just want an explanation as to what it is you're trying to accomplish with it. Maybe I just don't really understand, but what is it you want Shien to be able to do? Besides be faster. When I think reflexes, I think reaction time, and that... doesn't seem to be the case here. It's cool if you're doing something different, but if so, I need to know what it is.
You can either IM me, PM me, or just post here again - whatever would make you happiest. But I think that's where things are breaking down; you're not as explicit as you could be, and it's causing some confusion.

Okay for example, if Shien-Zen found a theif, and he asked the theif point blank, "Did you ever rob anybody?" And the theif responded with, "No" Shien-Zen would briefly establish a temporary link with the person's mind, and he could see the most recent event in particular, as if he was watching a short clip. Not so much amazing detail on what's happening, but he can get the jist of it. Let's say the theif did rob somebody recently, he'd just know that they robbed them, not what they stole, or why they stole it, his Angel Vision wouldn't uncover all of that from one question.
So now he knows, he'd ask why did they steal? If it was because say..the person the theif stole it from was supposed to give it to the theif anyway, like a wager, he would then be able to see the wager was made previously. If they stole it out of greed, he would see that the object in question was eyed by the theif and the theif decided that he/she would take it.
If the theif was paid to take it for whatever reason, he would see the deal being made (employer and employee, verbal deal, etc.), and that's the basic jist of how his Angel Vision works. If he asked a question like, "How old are you? What country are you from?" Personal questions like that, his angel vision would not work as he is to only use it when concerning something of evil intent. (Rob, steal, kill, lie, maliciousness, greed, etc.)
Reflexes, it seems as if I had to put an ability for him to be able to dodge attacks from fast moving characters. I'm not saying he's the fastest thing alive now and can see everything coming at him, it's just he has the ability to dodge and make his body move accordingly.
Example, a slice coming from the side toward his head, and a not extremely fast moving slice. He could lean back and evade it, or duck under it. A stab toward his stomach or chest, he could sidestep it, or step out of range. A small projectile fireball, knife, beam, etc. that isn't moving severly fast, he can step to the side of it, or lean back to avoid it. If an attack is coming toward his legs, he can raise whatever leg it's coming to over the attack. If it's coming to both legs he could jump over it. Please keep in mind I'm not saying he can dodge every single thing, just 60% of attacks coming toward him. It will not always be a clean dodge either. If an attack is coming toward his chest, he could lean to the side and the attack would only hit the side of his arm or something similar.
It is to help him with dodging attacks, cause it has become apparent that he is too slow for his own good.

Ok, that makes a lot more sense. So...
Angel Vision. You need to state that then. Something like "When asking a question involving such things as murder, robbery, rape, or other deeds considered morally wrong, Shien-Zen may view a brief clip of the event, via an established link between his mind and the mind belonging to the one he's questioning. These clips are not completely explicit - he may only get the jist, but the more specific the question, the more specific the memory becomes that he is viewing". The only thing that I question here is the purpose. So, I would also add why it is he'd want to do this, or need to do this. Also, don't take what I just wrote and use it - you need to word things your own way (yes, I've had people lift examples I've given them).
Reflexes. I see what you're trying to do, but you could probably word it better, or aim for a more 'common', I guess you could call it, way of describing it. If you just want to say that he's got sharper reflexes, I'd just say his reaction time is better, so he can dodge attacks dealt by someone with above average speed, or someone who is abnormally fast (followed by an insert example here kind of thing). Because really, that's what you're getting at, but in a really... strange sort of way.

Only thing he can see in their mind is what is relating to that one question that he asked, and nothing more. The reason he would need to do this is after an alignment scan. If he scans the alignment, and it says good, he'd most likely believe everything that is said to him and there is no reason for him to go any further in the process on deciding what to do with the person. Neutral to Evil, however, he would examine what they are wearing, and how they talk to him. (Are they wearing something a theif wears? Do they look/talk like a theif? Did he JUST see them steal something?)
Theives typically have a different type of dress from say a dark spellcaster, or someone who murders with a weapon (a katana). If he sees the object or attire in question for commiting the act in question, he'd ask if the act was actually done. When he asks that, he would be able to view the memory if he is looking directly at them, of the act being done. It would not be more than 10 seconds long. This only works if they do not answer truthfully. An answer such as, "none of your business" or "**** you" would not let him just look into their mind. So this really only works if someone is attempting to lie. The following question would have to be related to the first question, for him to be able to use the mental link. (Who taught you, why did you do it.)

If there was a projectile (knife, fireball, arrow) coming toward him from a distance of about 20ft, he could most likely evade the fireball. This does not apply to point blank sneak attacks and those with speed in the advanced level.

- Holy Aura [Upgrade] – Shien-Zen’s Holy Aura can now protect him from mildly strong spells as long as he has energy to keep it up. Depending on the severity and strength of the attack or spell, he can continuously keep the aura around him for 3-7 turns before he becomes exhausted from sustaining it. The aura is now much thicker than before, and also creates a somewhat strong breeze from his body that flows in all directions. Against a stream of fire or a beam of dark energy, the aura would most likely repel it as if it was a big shield, stopping the energy from hitting him directly. For much stronger attacks, the he would feel the attack, but substantially less pain, resulting in him possibly being pushed back or flung into the air. (Stronger beam hitting him directly would push him back, but not do the intended damage. A flare or explosion directly in front of him would blow him back and do reasonable damage, but not enough to put him out of the fight.)
- The Hands of Sanctity – Similar to the Heavenly Hammer, in order to perform this technique, Shien-Zen must perform a chant, asking the heaven's to grant power, and a particular hand motion. This takes one full turn to perform. If he is interrupted while completing this, he must retry to complete the chant and motion. If he is successful in completing the motion and chant, a sound of thunder will be heard throughout the land, and if his arms are spread (the end of the hand motion), two lightning bolts from above will strike down and hit both of his hands.
