Yori stumbled off of the gentle, palomino mare that had, once again, taken him into the port city of Zedrin. He had hated this city last time he was here, and he hated it just as much now. He wasn’t quite as clumsy in this form, and he had fixed his eye problem with a pair of sexy, black rimmed librarian glasses. He only called them that because he had stolen them from a sexy librarian. He’d also changed his attire a bit; this time wearing a very short black leather skirt and a sleeveless hot pink top. The stiletto high heels he was still getting used to, but he’d figure them out eventually. He left the mare with a stable boy and walked through the doors of the Dragon Heart Inn. The last time he had been here was not very pleasant at all. He had managed to make a slave of himself to an absolutely terrifying, though incredibly intelligent and beautiful, Dragon Lady. She had said that she would teach him etiquette and how to be a real woman in exchange for a few simple tasks around her hut; taking care of the biting, stubborn stallion DarkFlame, fetching human hearts to use for spell work, things like that. The bed she had said that she would give him turned out to be a pile of straw in one corner of her house, and the food consisted of only red wine, which isn’t really a food at all. All in all, the stay with her was pleasant. He had grown fond of the Dragon Lady and had worshipped her like the goddess that she was. They had agreed that they would meet here, at the Dragon Heart Inn, where they had first met all those weeks ago. They had to discuss several new spells that she was working on, and he wanted to spend the day hooked on her every word. He didn’t even care that he was stuck in the body of a woman; when he was with her, he forgot all the pains in his own world, at least until she slapped him for daydreaming again. He made his way through the establishment carefully, the heels not working out so well on the uneven wooden floorboards. He only managed to trip once, though he knocked over a serving maid with her arms full of someone else’s dinner as he did so. He apologized meekly and hurried away before he could see the damage he had caused. Maybe he would just wait at the bar until he fair princess found him there. He was too embarrassed with his clumsy display to search around for her. |

And there he went again, knocking over her food. Why did she even bother trying to order food to a table? There was just no point in it, knowing that he would inevitably knock it over and delay her meal. Fortunately she was willing to let it slide, leaning over to glare at the barmaid before calling her pet away from the counter in a sickeningly sweet tone. "Over here, Yor-i-shine~" He was so funny, dressed up "bad" with his pink top and short black skirt. Despite the attempt at changing his appearance, the petite female still had the innocent look going for him. So cute and small... she had thought she would try it too, and tied up her hair in two separate pigtails. It did not quite match Yorishine's natural innocence, but it did serve to deceive a few of the dead bodies she had found on her way to the inn. She tapped her fingers calmly on the flat wooden surface before her, patiently waiting for her pretty little servant to wander back over from the bar, likely knocking over someone else's dinner as he was at it. He was just the cutest little clutz when he was causing inconvenience to others. So sweet... if only she could get him to stab them with a knife properly, then he would just be so delightfully perfect. She could almost kiss him, if he weren't physically a chick. "Don't make me wait, Yorishine. I don't like waiting." Less sugar went into her tone this time; more spiced with venom than sweetened with honey. The dagger in her hand glinted in the light of a sunbeam in a brief flash of warning, before being rehidden beneath the sleeve of her cloak. "I really don't like waiting." |
