Welcome to Elenlond, an original medieval fantasy forum! We're always looking for new, dedicated members.

Elenlond is composed of two continents: Soare and Esiria. Esiria, a land now isolated due to the efforts of the last remaining Goddess, is inaccessible to all beings and lies in the east. Soare, a continent in the west, is composed of three distinct nations: Ashoka, Soto, and Morrim. Lying between the two major continents are the Scattered Isles. Since the dissolution of the pantheon and the fall of the gods, these countries have existed in relative peace and prosperity.

But how long will that peace last?

Demonic Strength - Though Drium possesses only average physical strength for a demon, when compared to that of a regular human he’s very powerful. He is able to effortlessly toss a human three times his size across a room and can lift upwards of 600lbs if he so desired. With that said, for whatever reason, he only seems to dip into his true strength when enraged.

Demonic Endurance - Drium can take a lot of punishment before succumbing to exhaustion; much more than that of even the burliest of humans. He is able to get up and keep going from all but the most brutal non-lethal/non-magical attacks, and is difficult to render unconscious from brute strength alone. This endurance does not to seem to apply to magical attacks however.

Regeneration - Over time Drium is able to recover from wounds that he has sustained. His rate of regeneration is proportional to the severity of the wound he is trying to heal, but all wounds short of fatal blows and dismemberment can be recovered from. Regeneration also consumes energy, so constant use can cause him to pass out if not done so while resting. This ability is activated and sustained through force of will, so if Drium is asleep, unconscious, or otherwise mentally incapacitated, he will not be able to make use of it.

Banish - Drium is able to banish a single weak summoned creature back to whatever realm they originated from. When used on another demon, the spell simply has a chance to cause them to become immobile for several seconds.

Oo I... Think... These will work...

Elemental Enchantment II - Drium is now able to enchant any object with a strong elemental property. This can range from enchanting a weapon with an aura of ice capable of causing minor frostbite with a lingering stab to enchanting a doorway with an aura of fire that’ll burn anyone who tries to open it by normal means. The enchantment lasts until dispelled by the user or another, or until it is overridden by another element.

Demonic Influence - Drium is able to influence the minds of people who lack substantial willpower; normally anyone who’s mental prowess is comparable to a regular human’s. The influence manifests as frenzied, incessant whispers within one’s mind. This ability does not require much concentration at all and can be used offhandedly in order to corrupt any persons within twenty-five feet of the user. It can only be used in half hour increments however, with an hour needed before it can be used again. The whispers insist that the listener commit various acts based on the seven deadly sins. Those who resist the allure of the whispers, unless completely immune to mental attacks will still hear them, though the only effect they will have is to annoy and distract the target. The longer one is exposed to the whispers, the more vulnerable, in general, they become to its influence.

Infernal Enchantment - Drium can channel powerful infernal energies into the blades of his daggers, causing them to emit a powerful blood red aura. This works in the same way as his other elemental enchantments, except at a higher damage output rating. Using an object with an infernal enchantment for defense actually causes the user damage; though targeted simple and intermediate spells may be deflected. When the blades are left to linger on or in anything, other than the wielder, for five seconds or more, it will start to decay the area the aura is in contact with. The longer and closer the blades are left to linger, the more severe the effects will be. Plants and trees with wither, stone will crumble and age, wood and flesh will rot, and steel and iron will rust and degrade.

<_> 110.

Agility II: In addition to being very light on his feet and able to nimbly jump and flip all over, Drium is able to quickly dash from place to place. At full running speed, he is about as fast as a horse at full gallop. He only has the stamina to keep up his full speed for about two minutes however.

Resist Magic II - Drium is immune to all but the strongest magical abilities that are used to charm, bind, silence, slow, transform, or otherwise hinder him or his movements along with being able to see through illusions placed on him. Added to this, he is also mildly resistant to magic that would have a negative effect on his health, notably poisons and illnesses. Purely offensive abilities still cause full damage and healing spells still have no effect on him.

Sin Invocation - A desperation move. By making a quick symbol upon his forehead with his blood, Drium can invoke a Great King of Hell to use his body to interact with the physical world and preferably destroy his enemy. During this phase, Drium is not himself as the Great King will have full control of his body and mind, though he will be fully aware of everything that happens and able to feel any trauma dealt to him. The change is clearly distinguished from his usual self as visualized by continuously bleeding pitch black eyes, extended, claw-like nails, intricate, black, archaic markings that cover his body, and a vastly distorted voice. In this form, ‘Drium’ gains the ability to absorb the deceased souls of others, a tripling of strength, high resistance to all magic types and is able to gather and fire off basketball sized blasts of pure Infernal power.

Also while in this form, all of ‘Drium’s physical attacks become unusually gory, as he begins using his own blood as a weapon, which is heated to burning when exposed to the air and can be manipulated briefly to his will. Since any extended use of this form would no doubt lead to Drium’s death, it has been limited to being active for only fifteen minutes, though it can also be prematurely ended if proper conditions are met. Using this move is risky for Drium as the summoned possessor may not actually care about helping him. In such a case, said possessor may stand there and allow him to take damage, waste time doing nothing, or pursue their own personal agendas. Regardless, following the end of this, Drium will be left extremely fatigued, if not out cold.

Elemental Enchantment III - Drium is able to enchant any object with a very powerful elemental property. Instead of just a colored aura around the selected object, actual properties of the element will surround it. The weapon is now able to affect the air around it with its power which extends Drium’s reach, enabling him to cause elemental damage even if the blade itself misses its target. The extent in which the element is elongated is capped at five inches, giving his blades a total ‘reach’ of one foot.

Banish II: Drium is now able to extend this ability to multiple targets, now able to banish up to five intermediate summoned creatures or focus it to banish a single, advanced one. When used on another demon or any non-mortal race creature such as humans, elves, dwarves, etc, the spell simply has a chance to cause them to become immobile for ten seconds. Attacking the target of this spell will negate it and allow them instantaneous mobility.

Twin Unanimity: Drium shares an empathic and telepathic connection with his twin. The connection allows the twins to share a mind, except they are both independent in thought. They simply can tell what one another thinks and feels, and usually feel the same way about things, though they cannot speak telepathically. This only occurs when the twins are within 100 miles of each other; the closer they are, the stronger it is felt. Another dynamic of this ability is the possibility of influencing the other twin's thoughts, feelings, and actions. This influence is not definite and may be purely speculation. However, it is believed by both that when one is feeling particularly dominant, he can in turn affect how the other behaves either positively or negatively. How specifically and to what extent, neither is sure of.
