| Welcome to Elenlond, an original medieval fantasy forum! We're always looking for new, dedicated members. Elenlond is composed of two continents: Soare and Esiria. Esiria, a land now isolated due to the efforts of the last remaining Goddess, is inaccessible to all beings and lies in the east. Soare, a continent in the west, is composed of three distinct nations: Ashoka, Soto, and Morrim. Lying between the two major continents are the Scattered Isles. Since the dissolution of the pantheon and the fall of the gods, these countries have existed in relative peace and prosperity. But how long will that peace last? Valerie watched as the boy flew past clutching his ear. She let the girl go and watched as she grabbed her boyfriends hand and ran past her after their friend. Valerie laughed and walked towards Drium. "Enjoy that ear?"She asked watching him carefully. She glanced at the blood splattered on the ground and then laughed. "That was fun."She said leaning against the wall and looking at him. "What do you want to do now? Now that we had our..fun..and the sun does look like it's going to come up soon."She said glancing up at the sky with a smile. She shook her head and sighed. "it was fun though."She said looking at him happily. |

“Meh.” He replied casually with a shrug. Ears weren’t exactly at the top of his list in the snack department, but when trying to make a point it was one of the easiest things to remove from a person that wouldn’t lead to their deaths. “You enjoyed yourself… Good.” He said while watching her lean against the wall. He thought about what he wanted to do, turning away from her slightly and looking down the alleyway. Most likely, even if those kids did run home, guards would come to investigate the area. He didn’t doubt that their parents would want to find out who scared the hell out of their kids… And who removed one of their ears. He smirked to himself at the thought. “Well, she should leave here. No point in hanging around the scene of the crime.” He looked at Valerie and then nodded towards the alley’s opening before starting to head in that direction himself. He noted too that it was almost sunrise, but he didn’t mind. All that meant was that Valerie was going to have to find some place to sleep. Drium on the other hand did not need to rest at such timely intervals so he would probably wander somewhere else. If she needed him later, he might show up, but it would best if she didn’t rely on it. “If the sun’s gonna come up, maybe we should find you a place to sleep.” |

Valerie walked after him staring at his back. "True."She said softly and then walked to the entrance. "Oh well, I have a tree I usually sleep in, I'll be able to make it ok if I start heading there right now."She said glancing around at the sky. "Yeah I'll be fine if I go..now!"She said and spun around heading in the direction of her tree at a fast pace. She had to get at least to the dark part of the woods where she could avoid the sun, as long as she wasn't caught out in the open. But she did notice something weird. Her old scars, which she used to have from the sun burning her, were going away, hurting less. Maybe it was the human blood in her? She didn't know Vampires were healers because of human blood. Well that was helpful! |

The thief’s mind was wandering as he walked. He needed to figure out what he was going to do with himself during the daylight hours. He was fairly sure that the three teens from earlier had gotten a good look at both he and Valerie, so it would probably be in his best interest to lay low for a while. Of course he could just skip town and come back later, but that idea wasn’t pleasing. He’d just have to hole himself up in some unsuspecting person’s house. Drium turned just in time to see Valerie rush off in another direction after hearing her speak about her tree. “Wha-…” He started, lightly reaching for her while about to say something, but before he could get the full word out she was too far away to hear. He wasn’t the type to yell, so that was out of the question and he wasn’t going to chase after her either; that was against his nature. As he watched her dash off towards the forest and her tree, he smiled softly to himself, hands on his hips as he shook his head. This was the second time that an encounter with the vampire ended with her running off away from him. |
