I'm gonna keep waiting a while more before I bring in some of my more outrageous abilities XD But let's see how these work... Sonic Roar- When in dragon form, Drake is capable of unleashing an incredibly loud roar. This roar can be outright painful and extremely disorienting if you're anywhere within fifty feet, and if you're right next to him when he unleashes it, then expect to be left completely helpless for several seconds. This seems to have some magical qualities as well, since oddly, if Drake doesn't wish to affect someone with it, they won't get any more than just hurt ears. Lightning- Drake can use magic to summon lightning. He can choose whether to make it strike from the sky, flow through him or his weapon, or release a bolt from himself. Regardless of the method used to summon the lightning, when it strikes the enemy, it is likely to stun them slightly, though that effect may not last more than a second if he doesn't continue to send the charge. Wind Blade [upgrade]- Drake is able to summon blades of wind to attack his enemies. He is able to summon up to ten blades at once, each curved and about a foot long with about the force of an arrow. He can combine these blades into one however, up to a five foot wide blade with twice the force of an arrow, or even still a one foot wide blade with ten times the force. He can also enchant his weapons to send blades of wind out when he strikes, as wide as the swing that creates them, but these are really rather weak, doing little damage, based on the length. A simple stab will have the force of an arrow however with this. |

Hopefully this is okay... Distortion Soul- Drake has a demonic power sealed inside of him. It seems to be the exact opposite of his own desire to protect people, as its only desire is to take control of him and destroy everything. If for whatever reason Drake is mentally weakened enough, it may take over. When it has taken over, his power seems to be considerably increased, as in, he might have been barely able to move before but now will seem twice as strong as before. In this state, he is as much a danger to allies and innocent bystanders as he is to enemies, quite possibly more so. However, this dark creature will be impeded as Drake fights it control (usually, occasionally he may be so lost that it will take a lot to wake him up enough to fight) and eventually, Drake will be returned to himself. When in this state, Drake's eyes will become pure black, with glowing red slit pupils. If he transforms during this state, his appearance will be different as well. If he goes from human form to dragon form, the dragon form will be solid black, with blood-red glowing claws. Human form will simply have a change of wardrobe strangely, with everything being black except for the gold near the shoulders. He will also have black gauntlets that normal Drake doesn't have. Any spell that Drake may cast when in control of himself may be cast by this demon, but it will appear black if it has any sort of visual effect. His wisp spell will generate darkness if used in this state. Aura- With this spell, Drake unleashes a seven foot wide sphere of white light around him, with him in the center. The light then gathers into a five foot wide glyph with his right hand (or claw) at the center, which after five seconds, unleashes a six foot wide beam of white light. The light has a hint of light blue around the edges, and is similar to Drake's Shine Breath attack in that it strikes directly at life force. On average, the light is enough to kill a person or leave them unable to move if Drake doesn't want to kill them, but some people have more life energy than average. Being hit by this attack is rather painful. Being more powerful than Shine Breath, it of course cannot be used very often. Drake must wait at least five minutes before using it again, and if he uses it more than five times in one hour, it will be another two hours before he can use it again. In addition, Drake will feel exhausted for about ten seconds after using this, no matter how much energy he had before. Obviously, if he uses the last of his energy on this, then he will be exhausted for considerably longer... Stone- Drake is able to call forth sharp stalactites of stone from the ground, up to six feet in length and six inches in width. The stalactite will poke up about an inch from the ground before it suddenly shoots up nearly instantly, piercing whatever is in its path. Drake can call up to ten of these at a time. |

Now, let's see... Well, this time, I'm doing two upgrades and a new ability. First, his flame breath. Current Version: Flame Breath- When in dragon form, Drake is able to unleash a continuous stream of flame for up to twenty seconds at a time before having to take another breath. This enables him to fly past enemies and set them on fire as he flies, which can be useful when, say, fighting a small army of bandits. Upgrade: Flame Breath [upgrade]- When in dragon form, Drake is able to breathe out a continuous stream of white hot flames. This can begin melting steel in about twenty seconds if he concentrates it continuously, and he can unleash it for up to sixty seconds while still flying or even clawing. After those sixty seconds are up, he cannot unleash the flames at full power again for at least fifteen seconds without using them, though he can do more short bursts (five seconds or so) immediately as soon as he takes a breath. This is useful whether he's facing a single enemy or a large number of them. Next, his magic detection ability. Current Version:Magic Detection- Drake can sense magical energy, and is able to tell if someone in front of him is using magic, or if an object is enchanted. If an enchantment is meant to hide itself however, he cannot detect it. Also, he cannot detect if an object was once enchanted but stripped of it, if such a thing is possible at all. Upgrade: Magic Detection [upgrade]- Drake is able to sense magical energy, being able to tell if someone in his sight or within fifty feet is using magic, or if an object is enchanted. Simple and intermediate level illusions can also be detected easily, and advanced level ones can usually be detected if he concentrates, though he still can't detect all of them, there will be some so advanced that he can't detect them. He cannot simply see through them, but he can tell that they are there... Though invisibility can be pierced through mostly, due to the fact that he can detect that there is magical energy there in roughly the shape of a person... Well, whatever is using it anyway, it's not really guaranteed to be humanoid, is it? As long as an enchantment is not incredibly advanced as well as being meant to hide itself, he can detect it. Simple and intermediate ones don't require much concentration, though more advanced ones do. If an enchantment is not meant to avoid detection of its magical energy, then Drake will be able to detect it. And finally, a new ability. Fire Resistance- Drake can now withstand extremely high temperatures. Only the most powerful of flames will do any damage to him whatsoever. He still prefers to stay out of flames when in human form, his swords will melt if it gets TOO hot, but in dragon form, he can stay within white hot flames for extended periods of time with little discomfort. He can even go into lava... For extremely short periods of time, this resistance isn't completely infinite. XD I have trouble figuring out what would work well sometimes. I went a bit further this time since I've seen other people have some pretty amazing powers, and my post count is getting pretty high. |

I'd say adjust your fire breath upgrade, because no metal should really melt in 20 seconds, unless it's a really weak metal like solder. |

Flame Breath [upgrade]- When in dragon form, Drake is able to breathe out a continuous stream of white hot flames. This fire is hot enough to make steel melt if it is focused on it for enough time, and can quickly begin weakening many metals somewhat. His fire will last up to sixty seconds, and if he unleashes them for the full sixty seconds, he cannot unleash the flames at full power again for at least fifteen seconds without using them, though he can do more short bursts (five seconds or so) immediately as soon as he takes a breath. If he stops within twenty seconds, the only wait time is just to take another breath, and then he can resume at full power. This is useful whether he's facing a single enemy or a large number of them. Is this a bit better? |

Healing [Upgrade] Drake now has rather powerful healing abilities, and not only can he heal minor cuts and scrapes instantly using virtually no energy, he is also able to heal fatal wounds provided that the person wounded isn't already dead, and if he has enough time to concentrate.(five seconds or so) He can also make his magic affect an area, but the larger the area, the less actual effect it will have for the energy and casting time he uses. Guardian's Eye [Upgrade] Drake's ability to sense danger has increased significantly. He can sense if there is anything hostile toward him or his friends nearby, and also sense hostile intentions from those he meets, in addition to being able to sense an attack coming several seconds earlier, meaning that he can not only dodge the attack or get someone out of the way, he might be able to launch a pre-emptive strike. Telepathy [Upgrade] Drake is now able to send telepathic messages even when not in dragon form, and can do so over extremely long distances to any friend of his. In addition, those he is talking with can also speak back to him through the telepathic connection if they wish, though it used to be one-way. He cannot simply read thoughts not directed towards him however. He is also able to sense where his friends are as well if he is looking for them, or even sense when they're nearby if he's not. |

Eeh... Not quite sure how this will work out, but whatever. I've been saving some of this stuff for a while, hopefully I have enough posts for stuff like this... I understand if some of it might be a little bit much... Then again, I've seen people get away with some crazy stuff before <_<; Immortal Energy- Whatever power Drake has, it not only is infused into his body, it seems to have BECOME his body. This doesn't really have any visible effect normally, but once he's in combat, it can become clear as day. Not only does he seem to take much less damage from attacks than he should, since they're mostly now striking directly at his life force. Attacks that would slice right through a normal person might leave only shallow cuts, though they'd still be quite painful, and would take out a good chunk of his energy. However, once he's out of energy, they'll seem to do as much damage as normal... However, there's another part to this. He now seems to be IMPOSSIBLE to kill. After he takes a blow that would be fatal to a normal person, after his energy is depleted, he simply... Disappears. And slowly, his power, will regenerate, and then he'll be able to come back... Though it's not guaranteed to be where he was first "killed" Energy Strike- Drake's attacks, whether with his claws in dragon form, his swords, or his magic, now can be altered so that they strike directly at life force. Essentially, what this allows him to do, is to attack an enemy so that instead of the full physical damage it would do, it may simply exhaust them, perhaps cause them pain as well. This way, if he gets into a fight, he may be able to choose not to kill the opponent. Also, Drake is now able to summon weapons seemingly out of nowhere, in an instant. Specifically, two different swords. The first one is about two feet long, and made of a very light, pale golden colored metal. There are symbol shaped spots on the blade that are of a darker, though still golden, color. The handguard looks like a set of wings. There is a multi-colored gem in between the "wings". The blade is sort of wavy, though each "wave" ends at an actual sort of angle, rather than just being smooth waves. The tip of the blade is pointed as well. The blade is about four feet long, and appears to be forged out of an orange gem. Still slightly lighter around the edges, though not as extreme as this. The wider part of the blade near the hand isn't as extreme, and out from that, it is longer, the blade getter thinner more slowly out towards the end. (in proportion.) The part right before the wider part near the hand isn't as wide either. Drake can summon these swords or make them disappear in an instant, which allows his fighting style to become extremely flexible. Dragon Rise [Upgrade]- In a flash of light, Drake can transform into a dragon. Drake is now able to control the size of his dragon form. It can be anywhere from slightly smaller than his human form, to about ten times his already a bit large size in human form. If Drake wishes, he can channel some energy through his claws, which will cause them to glow with a white light, and will imbue them with the same properties as ligth elemental magic. |

... That's four abilities my friend. The Energy Strike and the sword thing you wrote after that cannot be of the same ability. They have two completely separate functions and thus must be two completely separate abilities. Also, the second paragraph of the Immortal Energy one is too much. Ya can't be immortal. Don't think one can ever be immortal... Regardless of post count. |

Gah... Sorry then. I've seen some stuff that I personally thought was REALLY crazy, and apparently I suck at judging what will be accepted or not ._.; I guess the issue will just never come up. Though honestly, I don't think there would be much difference in terms of brokenness between attacks that could take out a city (which I believe was said to eventually be possible) and defensive abilities that equate to pretty much an inability to be killed <_<; The latter would probably mostly just be something used for plot anyway, since characters can't really die if their players don't want them to, correct? Okay, I'm revamping Drake's abilities. Sorry if this is too much trouble, but I think I've got a better grasp on what's allowed for abilities. At the time I made some of my advanced ones, they really were only about as powerful as intermediate abilities... Not very good ones at that. I also separated a few abilities that didn't need to be separated, so I'm re-organizing them. Ability Change Old Ability Speed – Drake can move and strike rather quickly, in both human and dragon form. Abilities Tied to it – None Replacement Ability Ice – Drake is able to use simple ice magic. He can summon up to the equivalent of a two foot sphere at one time. This usually amounts to a few projectiles,or possibly freezing the enemy's foot to the ground. He will be able to use this ability again after about fifteen seconds or so. Old Ability Magical Speed – Drake can move and strike rather quickly, in both human and dragon form. Abilities Tied to it – None Replacement Ability Barrier – Drake is able to summon a magical barrier in front of him, to defend against attacks. It requires that he keep his concentration on it, but it is fairly strong, able to effortlessly repel basic spells and weak attacks, while it can hold up rather well against more powerful ones as well. Intermediate level power abilities can wear away at it, while early advanced ones might shatter it in a few strikes, and high advanced can simply shatter it instantly. This assumes that they have a small area of effect, abilities whose strength come from affecting a wide area might not work quite as well. Once the barrier is shattered, Drake cannot use it for ten minutes or so afterward. If not shattered, but considerably worn down at, it can be called within two minutes, and instantly again if the damage it took was negligible. Old Ability Aura – With this spell, Drake unleashes a seven foot wide sphere of white light around him, with him in the center. The light then gathers into a five foot wide glyph with his right hand (or claw) at the center, which after five seconds, unleashes a six foot wide beam of white light. The light has a hint of light blue around the edges, and is similar to Drake's Shine Breath attack in that it strikes directly at life force. Abilities Tied to it – None Replacement Ability Pure Resolve – Drake's sheer willpower seems to be a considerable force in its own right. He can keep going even when he's taken enough damage that most people would be dead already, and he can resist any sort of paralysis, sleep, or mind-affecting spells by sheer force of will. Old Ability Wisp – Drake is able to summon a wisp of light, which illuminates the area around him. Drake can increase or reduce the intensity of this light as he wishes, as well as control its movements. This is extremely handy for helping see in dark places (though not so much for stealth) and then there's the added bonus that it can be made to flash brighter suddenly, disorienting those not prepared for it, or even thrown directly at the eyes of an opponent, outright blinding them for a time. This has no real properties to harm anything, except perhaps vampires if he wanted it to, though it normally doesn't. Abilities Tied to it – None Replacement Ability Spirit Weapons – Drake is now able to summon weapons seemingly from nowhere. Specifically, two swords. The part right before the wider part near the hand isn't as wide either. This sword is very long, and a bit slower than the other. When magical power is focused through this sword, the blade catches with what appears to be fire, though it is blue, and freezing cold, even as the blade itself becomes insanely hot. There is a crossguard right under the blade that appears similar to two sets of overlapping, golden angel wings, with the feathers pointing down. It's not all that much wider than the bottom of the blade however. Both of these swords can be summoned into and out of existence in an instant, which gives him a rather flexible fighting style. Upgrade/Change Original Shine Breath- When in dragon form, after about a three second charge time during which his wings glow with a bright white light, Drake is able to unleash a powerful beam of energy toward the opponent, which appears as a bright white light as well. This beam is about one foot wide, and strikes life energy directly, causing pain and rapidly exhausting them so they won't be able to move, possibly even killing them if Drake doesn't wish to hold back. Abilities Tied to it – None New Ability Light – Drake is able to summon light, of any color, that can illuminate his surroundings, or cause beautiful shows of color. This isn't exactly used as a real illusion spell, and he can't really imitate anything with this. Part of the magic is that the light will not hurt anyone's eyes unless he wills it to... And when he does, it can be a powerful weapon, hurting more than eyes. This light actually can be altered to be shot at enemies, striking their life force, and causing pain if he so wishes. It has increased effect against undead, demons, and other such creatures that are typically weak to light magic. However, if he's attacking with this ability, it takes time to cast, more for all the power and area he's using. If he doesn't want it to, this power will NOT kill, merely knock the opponent out or bring them to where they're unable to fight. Original Magical Strength- Drake is able to focus his magic power through him, allowing his strength to rise considerably beyond what you would expect of a human being. He can potentially dent a stone wall with a punch, though that would be rapidly exhausting if he attempted this, as his magic power drains as long as he is activating this, in proportion to the force exerted beyond normal physical limits. Abilities Tied to it – None New Ability Inner Power- The magical power Drake has is focused through his body in such a way that he is far stronger and faster than he would appear to be... Or you would expect to be possible. He is now able to crush straight through stone, even in human form, and move at a speed that is barely a blur to the average human eye. Upgrade Current Ability Armored Scales- When in dragon form, Drake's scales act like armor, requiring either precision to stab through where they overlap, or strength to crush through. This enables him to take several slashes in the same place from an average iron sword, wielded by an average strength enemy, though more powerful enemies can still do heavy damage, and it doesn't have much effect against magic, unless it's something like having rocks hurled at him. Upgrade Armored Scales [upgrade]- Even at the minimum size, his dragon form's scales are nearly impenetrable, overlapping in such a way that not even a needle could penetrate them, and being strong enough to withstand incredibly powerful blows. This makes any attack that isn't magical borderline useless, if not outright so, unless you target a vulnerable area such as his eye. These scales cannot block magic that doesn't involve picking up an object and throwing it at him. |
